We booked two lovely ”King” rooms - very clean and comfortable, in superb settings. The hotel is very conveniently located to allow a short walk into the town. We stayed for two nights, and there were busy weddings on both days - but there was minimal noise, and the wedding guests added to the lovely atmosphere. The hotel appeared to be almost fully booked for both days, so finding that only ONE lift was working was less than helpful (we were told that the other lift had been out of action ”for some time”, due to the hotel ”awaiting spare parts”?) Annoyingly, the one working lift only went up to the 4th floor, so to reach our room on the 5th floor we had to hump our suitcases up the stairs - minor inconvenience, but unexpected from such a prestigious hotel. Our biggest gripe was (a.) the lack of available parking spaces (one car park had a huge marquee erected on it for a function) and (b.) being told when checking in that there was a parking charge of £18 per night - even though there was no mention on the website or on the booking details. It felt rather ”cheap and petty” for a hotel to have to stoop to fleecing their guests for parking fees to park at their hotel! We estimated that there were around 150 cars - so guests with cars are subsiding the hotel by over £2500 per night. All-in-all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a lovely hotel set in lovely surroundings - we would definitely stay there again.

L'hotel è grande, nessuna lamentela. Ma abbiamo avuto una sorta di aggiornamento, in un pagamento aggiuntivo, al quinto piano e è stato un enorme disappunto. Nessun massimale alto, nessuna vista promessa della città, temperature più calde che piani inferiori. Dopo aver pagato più di 400 dollari, è molto deludente.La colazione era buona, forse troppo.

I stayed for two nights. I stayed in one of the Sidings Double rooms and was pleased with the size, comfort and cleanliness of my room. It was a very quiet part of the hotel, and although I had a great view of the garden and station - I heard no noise at all so had a very peaceful sleep. The only slight disappointment I have, is that the hotel pool was quite tiny and was too crowded even at an off peak time, but this does not detract from the hotel and the leisure facility is really just a bonus - there is so much to see and do within the city that I had plenty to keep me occupied during my stay. York is a magical place. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. I have already booked this hotel again to bring my young son and do a spooky ghost tour in the autumn. Location-wise this hotel can’t be beaten, and the hotel staff are super helpful and friendly.

L'hotel è un vecchio palazzo ricostruito. Il giardino di ricchezze molto britannico. C'è un grande campo da golf. Ci sono molti uccelli selvatici, pine e uccelli sconosciuti. La stanza dell'hotel è molto grande, molto comodo. La colazione è molte varietà di stile di pranzo.

I've stayed at this hotel before and I will definitely be staying again. The location is ideal for me with easy access to the city centre either by walking, bus, or taxi. The rooms have always been very clean and a good size too. The buffet style breakfast is always superb and leisure facilities give you a chance to unwind in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. The staff have always been pleasant, friendly, and polite. 5 stars from me!

Ottima posizione, a pochi passi dal centro. La camera è comoda per due persone. Al momento del check-in non ci è stata segnalata la presenza di una doccia rotta. Abbiamo dovuto fare la doccia sopra la vasca da bagno, che non aveva la tenda, il che ha reso l'intero water bagnato e potenzialmente scivoloso. Inoltre, potrebbe essere scomodo se qualcuno non riuscisse a entrare e uscire facilmente dalla vasca. Gli asciugamani non erano forniti, ma richiesti tramite il codice QR. Tuttavia, dopo un po' di attesa, siamo dovuti scendere nella hall per ricordare al personale la nostra richiesta. La richiesta è stata prontamente soddisfatta.

Come un ex-restaurante per sette anni, tornava in Gran Bretagna per la prima volta dopo la laurea, e giocava per la prima volta a York.In quel momento, l'hotel era deciso, e il punteggio era molto alto, ma era ancora più alto di quanto previsto quando si fermava. Rimasto qui come base per la corsa a cavallo Grande hotel, ampiezza di parcheggio.Spa/Piscina è fuori sito. La nostra stanza era molto piccola, e abbiamo avuto problemi con il riscaldamento che non funzionava troppo bene. La stanza era pulita, la vasca era buona con tutte le attrezzature. La TV era grande, ma aveva gli strisce intermittenti con la foto, ma niente di male. La colazione era buona, buffet, quindi non c'era alcun problema. La Spa/Pool/Gym è fuori luogo altopiano del parco auto, che può essere una passeggiata fredda. In tutto, buon hotel con camere decente,Colazione e piscina.

L'hotel Leonardo ha avuto una splendida esperienza, la pulizia era di prima qualità e le strutture forniscono tutto quello che ci serve per un soggiorno confortevole. Grazie mille al personale, il servizio è stato davvero eccellente e ci ha resi molto benvenuti.
