Scegliere questo hotel a Chengdu per il mio viaggio di lavoro è stata la scelta perfetta! Si trova a soli 3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione della metropolitana, rendendo gli spostamenti super convenienti sia per la zona hi-tech che per il centro città, ottimizzando al massimo il tempo di viaggio. La sorpresa più bella è stata la lavanderia self-service gratuita e aperta 24 ore su 24. Poter lavare e asciugare camicie e pantaloni quando vuoi, anche dopo diversi giorni di fila, e indossarli il giorno dopo senza perdere tempo a cercare una lavanderia, con anche il detersivo offerto, è l'ideale per chi viaggia per lavoro. Anche la colazione merita un elogio, con opzioni sia cinesi che occidentali; le tagliatelle preparate al momento e le uova fritte erano proprio quello che ci voleva, e il caffè fresco macinato al momento mi ha dato la carica giusta per iniziare la giornata. Posizione comoda, servizi pratici e una colazione che sazia. La prossima volta che sarò in viaggio di lavoro, tornerò qui!

We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

Un soggiorno incredibilmente riposante! È l'hotel più confortevole in cui abbia mai alloggiato in tanti anni di viaggi di lavoro! I materiali utilizzati sono di gran lunga superiori a quelli di molti resort di lusso! Sono arrivato nella seconda metà del ponte del 1° maggio e il ragazzo alla reception mi ha gentilmente fatto un upgrade a una suite con una camera da letto. La biancheria da letto è più confortevole di quella degli Hilton, con il giusto equilibrio tra morbidezza e sostegno. Il letto è enorme e la stanza è super silenziosa. La zona circostante è elegante e mi sono sentito al sicuro anche tornando a tarda notte. Gli ospiti sono di alto livello, per lo più uomini d'affari e stranieri. Veramente all'altezza della reputazione di Yanlord. La vasca da bagno, il soffione della doccia e i dettagli sono impeccabili, persino la lampadina del comodino era senza un granello di polvere. L'intera suite era tranquilla, sicura e inodore, e si può raggiungere qualsiasi luogo comodamente. Le pulizie sono discrete, e potevo dormire fino al pomeriggio senza essere disturbato. Questa settimana mi ha davvero rigenerato corpo e mente. Non volevo più andarmene! La prossima volta che verrò a Chengdu, tornerò sicuramente qui!

La vasca da bagno è molto ben progettata. È davvero piacevole stare in mezzo alla stanza. L'arredamento è molto retrò e di buon gusto. La piscina nella hall dell'hotel è fantastica. Il dessert della buonanotte è il latte alla gomma alla pesca, davvero delizioso. La caffetteria al piano inferiore è un grande vantaggio. Nel complesso, è un ottimo hotel. Super consigliato. We chose this hotel mainly for a skiing trip, with the added bonus of having hot spring facilities on-site. We stayed from 28–30 December 2025. Unfortunately, while there was a small amount of snow at the top of the mountain, there wasn’t enough snow for skiing, which is worth keeping in mind as snow conditions are very weather-dependent. The hotel itself has good facilities, including hot springs, sauna, and a swimming pool. The hot spring experience felt private and relaxing, as there are multiple smaller tubs designed for individuals or family groups, rather than one large communal pool. There is also a dedicated changing area with showers, plenty of towels, and hair dryers, which is well-organised and convenient after soaking. The surrounding area is quite deserted, with only a few old shops across the road selling BBQ skewers and basic convenience store snacks. The police station is immediately next door, which adds a sense of security. Dining options nearby are very limited, so the hotel restaurant is the most decent and reliable place to eat. We particularly enjoyed their non-spicy chicken and mushroom hotpot, priced at 368 yuan, which was generous enough for a family of 3–4 people. The breakfast was also yummy and a highlight of our stay. One nice extra was the complimentary photo session with a professional photographer. You receive 3 photos for free, and if you choose to purchase all the digital photos taken, it costs around 400 yuan for approximately 43 photos. Transportation was one downside. We didn’t enjoy using Didi in this area. On the way to Xiling Snow Mountain, the Didi fare was 40 yuan, but the driver asked for an additional 30 yuan to cover his return trip. For the return journey, the driver didn’t accept the fixed price, used the meter instead, and requested an extra 20 yuan for parking fees at the mountain. For reference, the cable car prices at Xiling Snow Mountain are 320 yuan per person per day to the top, or 250 yuan per person per day to the halfway point. If you stay at hotels near the cable car, you only pay for the ride once. Since Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is farther away, you have to pay the same cable car rate every day, which adds up. Overall, Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is a comfortable hotel with good hot spring facilities and decent food, but it’s best suited for travellers who value relaxation over convenience. If skiing is your main goal, staying closer to the cable car may be more cost-effective and practical.

Il servizio del B&B è impeccabile. Un'auto verrà a prendervi, vi aiuterà con i bagagli e preparerà l'acqua glucosata. C'è sia cibo cinese che occidentale, il sapore è ok e i prezzi sono onesti rispetto ai ristoranti lungo la strada con decorazioni scadenti e ambiente sporco (i bagni sono terribili, molte persone fumano e i posti sono unti). il cibo qui è più confortevole e cena con vista. Forse mi piacciono le cose belle. Puoi vedere il panorama dal letto dell'hotel. Ogni finestra della stanza è un dipinto, comprese le finestre del bagno e delle scale. C'è panorama ovunque guardi. È adatto a me che non amo visitare i luoghi panoramici, quindi posso semplicemente restare in hotel e guardare il monte Rizhao Jinshan. Sono andato anche in quello accanto a lui. Il B&B aveva un autista che veniva a prenderci alla stazione dei treni ad alta velocità perché non c'erano molti ospiti quel giorno, forse a causa della pioggia, quindi la reception ci ha spostato gratuitamente in una stanza con una sorgente termale e aveva anche un ampio balcone panoramico. Ho chiesto espressamente alla governante quale fosse l'acqua della sorgente termale. e gli fu detto che era acqua di sorgente del Monte Emei. Anche se quel giorno pioveva, il Monte Emei ha un diverso tipo di bellezza. È davvero comodo dormire fuori di notte con il rumore della pioggia Il B&B è molto confortevole e dormo molto bene. Inoltre, le tagliatelle e i noodles preparati dallo chef sono davvero deliziosi e anche le porzioni sono abbondanti. Quando non pioveva di notte, andavamo a vedere le lucciole sotto il B&B I bambini non avevano mai visto le lucciole prima ed erano super felici. Ho già consigliato questo B&B a diversi amici. L'esperienza è stata abbastanza positiva.

This hotel is fantastic, it will definitely be my top choice when i visit Bipenggou again. The hotel surrounding & room is very beautiful. Room & bathroom are spacious, modern & nicely decorated, it offerred a super comfortable & relaxing stay. A dip in their indoor hotspring pool definitely enhanced the overall experience. Staffs are friendly and helpful, the hotel even peovide transfer service to & from the Bipenggou park entrance.

Sono passati esattamente dieci anni dall'ultima volta che ho soggiornato in questo Ritz-Carlton. All'epoca ero venuto a Chengdu con la mia ragazza e il soggiorno mi aveva lasciato un'impressione profonda. Dieci anni dopo, quella che era la mia ragazza ora è mia moglie e abbiamo anche dei figli adorabili. Tornare qui mi ha riempito di emozioni. All'inizio non capivo perché i bambini dovessero pagare un supplemento di 180 yuan per l'Executive Lounge, dato che la maggior parte degli hotel non applica costi aggiuntivi di questo tipo.
