Giappone: hotel con parcheggio nella provincia di Prefettura di Nagano

The hotel is nestled in the mountains, and the morning views from our rooms were absolutely breathtaking. On a few mornings with light drizzle, a mist swirled around the mountains, making it feel like we were living among the clouds. There was just one minor issue: the hotel initially wanted to charge 300 yen per person per day simply because it offers a public bath. As I’m not comfortable using such facilities, I didn’t visit the bath at all. However, at checkout, I was surprised to see an additional charge of over 1,000 yen for my family on the invoice. Although the amount was small, it didn’t seem fair to be charged for a facility we didn’t use. After I raised this concern, the front desk manager stepped in and kindly waived the fee. Aside from this slight issue, my stay was wonderful and thoroughly enjoyable.

La stanza è di dimensioni normali e il materasso è abbastanza comodo. La colazione era molto buona! Le verdure consegnate direttamente dalla fattoria sono freschissime. La sera gli ospiti dell'hotel riceveranno anche spuntini di mezzanotte gratuiti~ Non lontano da JR e vicino alla strada del cibo, è molto comodo mangiare. Matsumoto non è lontano da Hakuba, ma è un peccato che mi sia fermata e non abbia avuto il tempo di fare shopping. Torna la prossima volta! The staff was very helpful and professional. Before our stay, I inquired about shipping our luggage to the airport, and as we checked in they had information for me for when I needed to bring my luggage down. Also, I didn't need to do any of the paperwork (as I did at Karaska Hotel in Tokyo). The staff took care of everything for me. All I had to do was pay for it. The hotel is connected to the train station via the Midori market place. From the second floor of the hotel we accessed the Midori market area where we purchased a lof of our omiyage(gifts for friends). The train station had about 4 floors of stores attached to it. We had breakfast at the train station -- a small udon stand. The location was very good and I would definitely book here again. The train station has a pedestrian bridge on the second floor that connects to the Don Quixote across the street. 2 km away is the Zenkoji Temple, where there is a shopping street and a large Buddhist temple to visit. Our room was cleaned every day and they were very conscientious and very careful. They left a note saying that any cups with liquids are left as is just in case. There was three of us sharing a room with two singles and an additional bed. The room was spacious even with three of us sharing. There was a little table with two chairs on the side.

L'hotel ha una splendida facciata esterna e il personale della reception è cordiale. Sebbene la selezione del ristorante sia limitata, l'offerta per la colazione è piuttosto varia. Il noleggio dell'attrezzatura da sci è suddiviso in due categorie: ”Normale” e ”Alte Prestazioni”. Tuttavia, sono rimasto deluso dall'attrezzatura ad alte prestazioni, che era piuttosto usurata e aveva opzioni limitate. Spero che l'hotel possa offrire di più.

We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Nagano Matsushiro Resort & Spa. The hotel has a perfect balance of comfort, relaxation, and authentic local charm. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived, making check-in smooth and stress-free. Our room was spacious, clean, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Beds were comfortable, and the amenities were thoughtfully provided. One of the highlights was the onsen (hot spring)—a truly relaxing experience after a day of exploring Nagano. The spa area was clean, well-maintained, and never felt crowded. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant exceeded our expectations, with a great mix of Japanese and international options. The variety and quality of food made every meal enjoyable. The location is also excellent for sightseeing. Being close to Matsushiro Castle and other historic spots gave us a deeper appreciation of the area, while still being a short drive from Nagano city center. Overall, this resort is perfect for both families and couples who want to enjoy comfort, good food, and a true Japanese hot spring experience. We left feeling refreshed and would happily return again!

We recently stayed at this newly opened hotel, which, although located quite a distance from the city, exceeded our expectations in every way. Being part of a well-known hotel chain, we were confident in the level of quality, and we’re happy to say it lived up to its reputation. One of the highlights of our stay was the onsen. It was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted warmly with a welcome drink, which was a thoughtful and refreshing start to our stay. For families with children, this hotel goes above and beyond. There were fun and engaging activities available specifically for kids, with small prizes offered to keep them excited and entertained. This thoughtful touch really helped our children stay engaged throughout the stay, and gave us some time to relax as well. Even though the hotel is not located in the Hakuba area itself, it’s just a manageable drive away. We chose to stay here because the price was comparable to hotels in Hakuba, but with added amenities and a quieter environment. It turned out to be a great decision — we got the best of both worlds: a comfortable stay and access to skiing. We booked two rooms and requested adjoining ones with a connecting door. The hotel was able to accommodate this perfectly, which made it so much easier for our family to stay together while still having enough space. The breakfast, while somewhat limited in variety, featured fresh and high-quality local ingredients. The flavors were delicate yet satisfying, and it was clear the kitchen took pride in highlighting local produce. Service was another strong point of our stay. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. From check-in to check-out, their warm hospitality stood out. The hotel also offers ample parking, which is always a plus when traveling by car. Near the onsen area, there were vending machines for drinks and ice, as well as coin-operated washing machines. There were only three washers, which could have been an issue, but the staff managed it thoughtfully — when previous guests didn’t return promptly to pick up their laundry, the staff carefully placed their clean clothes in bags and stored them at the front desk to free up machines for others. That kind of proactive service really impressed us. Overall, this hotel provided a peaceful and convenient base for our winter trip. With clean facilities, thoughtful amenities, family-friendly features, and excellent service, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to relax in comfort while being just a short drive away from Hakuba’s ski resorts.

If you’re visiting Nagano, this hotel is hard to beat for conveniencejust steps away from the Shinkansen station 🚄. The staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating our early check-in and even allowing a late check-out until 11am 🙌. La colazione è stata una piacevole sorpresa con molte varietà e grande valore per soldi 🍳🥐. La stanza può essere compatta, ma è senza spot e ben mantenuta, rendendola un comodo soggiorno in generale. Molto consigliato per i viaggiatori che cercano un hotel pulito, conveniente e a buon prezzo nel cuore di Nagano! 🏨✨

不錯吧，近。還行。車站旁邊沒啥好吃的。河豚也沒。方便是真方便。可惜公交車幾乎沒有。出門衹能走路和坐車。隔壁還可以呢。

The room was large and we could see the suwa lake. The beddings were prepared by staffs and breakfast was also good. We could also enjoy the onsen downstairs. Also they let us check out an hour later. Perfect experience
