I had a pleasant stay at Art Hotel Kagoshima. The hotel offers a beautiful view of Sakurajima, especially from the rooms facing the bay — waking up to that scenery was truly memorable. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service felt professional and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was cozy, and the room layout made good use of space. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a nice selection of Japanese and Western dishes, and the restaurant had a lovely view as well. The hotel’s location is convenient — just a short drive from the city center and ferry terminal. Overall, Art Hotel Kagoshima is a great choice for travelers looking for comfort, good value, and beautiful views of Sakurajima. I would be happy to stay here again.

Se tornassi a Liuhui, scelgo di rimanere sulla stazione centrale, dove mi sento più caldo e più aggiornato. L'astronauta ha un sacco di negozi per bere al lavoro qui la notte, ma i turisti di giorno sembrano non avere niente da fare.Questa volta la stanza è di fronte a un muro, non c'è paesaggio. La casa di montagna opposto B1 ha un ristorante dolce, ma la porta è chiusa alle sette della notte, e devi andare presto.

A new hotel with excellent location. It’s just next to the shopping streets with lots of restaurants & souvenir shops. Got amenities such as bath salt, tea bags, drip coffee & cleansing oil/ lotion at hotel lobby for you to pick up. The restaurant where you take breakfast commands a stunning panoramic view. Will stay here again.

I like this hotel. I've stayed here for 2 times. They provide a free transfer from and to Railway station and a city centre. Very good onsen with a scenic view on Sakurajima. You can also rent a bike here in the hotel for a reasonable price. Convenience store is right by the hotel.

È stato un ottimo soggiorno. La gestione dell’hotel è stata eccellente e la stanza è stata in buona condizione. Voglio dare una menzione speciale alla signorina Gotanda Vanti田, che mi ha guidato dopo l’iscrizione. Le sue spiegazioni dettagliate e il suo sorriso caldo hanno dato un tono positivo anche prima di entrare. La prossima volta tornerò certamente.

Iniziiamo con il pro. Questo hotel è fondamentalmente collegato alla stazione JR Kyushu Shinkasen / Kagoshimachuo che è collegato al centro commerciale AMU Plaza e ha anche un fermo di tram proprio fuori dal centro commerciale (Kagoshima-chuo eki mae fermo di tram). Quindi, in termini di posizione, penso che questo hotel tickle tutte le caselle. La signora al conto frontale che mi controllava era molto gentile, tuttavia, entrambi abbiamo dovuto usare un traduttore per comunicare 😂 . Credo che sia per il pro. Il bagno era piccolo, il bagno era vintage, mi sentivo indecente e mi ha dato un attacco allergico. Le tre gripe che avevo: 1) Il fisso AC vicino al tetto stava sbattundo direttamente sul letto, che era davvero incomodo. Credo che questo abbia contribuito alla mia allergia al flare-up. 2) Il letto e la bambola non erano molto confortevoli, non dormivo bene per le due notti, o potevo essere solo il CA. 3) L'hotel non ha offerto acqua bottigliata, preferirei che prendessero via la spazzola di denti e la gomma plastica a basso costo e offrissero acqua bottigliata invece.

Huge bath tub within the room. Slightly bigger room than japan's average because of that but living area is smaller as a result. There is a sofa in this room but that takes up the space for luggage. Overall pretty good. Just opppsite the jr station with underground access. Sakurajima was covered by clouds when I was there.

Prima sono rimasto qui nel marzo 2020. E mi piaceva l'hotel. Dopo cinque anni tutto è ancora perfetto. Mi piace la stanza, il cibo e il colazione. E la posizione è perfetta anche. Tbh mi piace tutto su questo hotel. Sarò certamente qui nel mio prossimo viaggio a Kagoshima.

Nice brand new hotel in a good location. The room is very spacious, and the onsen is the best. You must try it. I didn't try the breakfast, so no comment on food. There is free shuttle bus service from Kagoshima Chuo to the hotel every 30 mins.
