Cina: hotel con parcheggio nella provincia di Taiwan

Entrando nella camera d'albergo, ho avuto la sensazione di essere stato ingannato dalle foto. Tutto è antiquato, la parete superiore e la presa d'aria sono impolverate. La doccia interna presenta muffa, le tende sono macchiate. Dovrebbero investire in una pulizia approfondita. La posizione è buona. Per me questo hotel non ha un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

L'hotel tratta meglio ************* e Agida, ma organizza camere più povere ai piani inferiori per i clienti Ctrip. Spero che Ctrip lavorerà sodo per negoziare con l'hotel, altrimenti verrà rimosso dall'elenco. L’hotel fa pagare 720/940 RMB (3000/4009 NT$) per una camera doppia nei fine settimana. È troppo caro! La camera doppia è piccola, 18 metri quadrati. Le lenzuola e gli asciugamani sono vecchi. L'aria condizionata può solo rinfrescare ma non riscaldare. We were given a larger room than booked so it can be considered an upgrade. The view from the hotel room was decent and the hotel is located near Taiwan boulevard so it was easy to get ride hailing and taxis. The neighbourhood is easy to get around and there are enough amenities.

When we arrived in the morning, upon dropping off our luggage, one of the receptionists (woman with a bob cut) was extremely rude when I just asked what time we may return for check in. She rolled her eyes. The other staff are extremely kind, and one uncle even gave us recommendations on where to eat. The room itself is comfortable. The bathroom tiles retain cold, so bringing bathroom slippers is recommended. The comforter/duvet is extremely thick, so AC must be at max to sleep comfortably. The room comes with free thin disposable slippers, coffee/tea, tissue, shower gel, shampoo, and towels. There is free snacks in the lobby at night time (but they do not announce it). Free water dispenser as well on every floor and the lobby. Friday night also welcomes a small band who plays music and sings. They are very talented. It is in a prime location near the train stations, Liuhe Night Market, and a nearby Central Park. I recommend going to the park to see wild animals like squirrels and pigeons as shown in my photos.

The hotel’s location and the lake view are the best. The family room was spacious and generally clean. However due to old carpets on most surfaces, it does look unclean sometimes. We were glad to have a swimming pool for our kids albeit the water was rather cold (and we are used to cold swimming water in Europe). The reception is kind and friendly and efficient.  The restaurant at site serves good breakfast and delicious set menu dinner (huge kids menu portion, we shared one for two kids aged 6 & 8 with good appetite)

Clean and well kept hotel. Very close to the train station (just across the road) and next to a shopping mall. However, would still need to take uber to other sights of Tainan. Check in took quite a while as we had 2 rooms booked under Trip.com. Originally gave us only one room with a Trip.com voucher which indicated 2 rooms. After checking for a fairly long while, they found the other room. Quite surprised of this service standard from shangri-la brand of hotels. We booked 2 nights and early morning which is around 8+am, housekeeping came knocking on our door to want to clean and tidy the room while we were still in bed. Asked how long we needed to let her in to clean the room. Was speechless as this is the first time we had such an encounter. Disappointed with the service but location and cleanliness of the hotel are good.
