Il servizio complessivo dell'hotel è molto soddisfacente, la decorazione dell'hotel è molto attenta e l'atteggiamento del personale è molto buono, che ci fa sentire come un ospite.La posizione dell'hotel è grande come il centro della città antica, ovunque è molto conveniente. L'hotel ha organizzato il maestro, abbiamo imballato la macchina, è molto professionale, molto amichevole, molto buona atteggiamento di servizio.

L'ambiente è fantastico, pulito e igienico, in una posizione comoda vicino alla strada, e i bambini lo adorano. Il riscaldamento è al massimo e il personale è gentile e attento. L'aria condizionata era già accesa al nostro arrivo, il che è stato fantastico!

L'hotel è pulito e igienico, può anche immagazzinare i bagagli gratuitamente. La stanza è molto spaziosa, ci sono specchi e giacche, ci sono tovaglioli nel giaccheggio, e un divano molto lungo può dormire una persona. È molto vicino alla città antica. È possibile vedere il tamburo e il palazzo Kowloon

Wow, I loved this homestay! The lively and kind lady who runs Yishui homestay is a good English speaker and very patient, so foreigners as well as Chinese will feel at ease staying here. It is a very hospitable atmosphere! Location is in the pedestrianized part of the old city, very near the Drum Tower. Therefore, there is lots to see/do/eat while walking nearby. But the location is also not far from the driving road, so it was an easy, short walk to meet my driver when going out to the hanging temple, the grottos, and the train station. The facility is an old-style courtyard home, with a beautiful wood-beam ceiling. The interior rooms are completely renovated and modernized, with great water pressure, all necessary toiletries, an excellent quality hair dryer, slippers, and super air-con/heating! (It was -3 one night during my stay, but I was warm and comfy in that room!) Clean towels are brought daily. Breakfast was included in my stay and I was very happy with the food. It is an ample Chinese-style breakfast, and you can inform the cook if there is some food you don't/can't eat. Although the breakfast was plenty of food for me, I saw a guest ask for more baozi, and he was kindly given 2 more. Fresh fruit was also offered for free several times during my stay. Within a 5 minute radius (walking), there are many eating places for lunch, dinner, snacks, and tea/coffee. There are also numerous historical sites (dragon wall, temples, ”mansions”, the Catholic Church, etc.) in easy walking distance. In fact, there was so much to see nearby that I was not able to see everything! The homestay looks very charming, and many, many people were often seen stopping to take photos in front of the homestay, as well as on the back wall of the homestay, which is next to a Chinese Opera stage--it is especially lovely at night! It is a 10-15 minute walk to the ancient city wall, where you can climb up and enjoy the sights, or visit a (Chinese) bookstore within the city wall, under one of the arches. My Beijing friends, who stayed at a nearby hotel, were equally impressed when they came to visit me in Yishui homestay, and they got the WeChat contact so that they can return to stay at Yishui homestay on a return trip--so easy to get there by fast train from Beijing!

We stayed at thos lovely hotel. Lovingly restored by the current owner Mr Wang. He is the 6th generation owner of the property. Until 10 years ago it was a derelict and dilapidated building. He poured money, time, blood, sweat and tears to restore it And it does feel and look like a traditional house. You feel you are going back in time. Firstly the customer service is way beyond the call of duty. Its so good, i would recommend staying with mr Wang at whatever hotel he runs. He picked us at the Lower East Gate, and brought us to the hotel, then took nearly half an hour to explain in great detail where we need to visit, whether the sights be in the city or outside the city. Some of his suggestions, not on the tour books were very good . For example he suggested 3 restaurants, and we avoided them thinking he was getting a kickback.on our 4th and last day we tried restaurant no 2 of his. And it was good , the food and service were good. The prices were average with other restaurants and we got a 10% discount being the hotel's guests. And remember we had eaten 10 meals by the time we came to his suggestions. Another suggestion of Mr Wang was Ma family home - also a very good tip from him. Everytime we had a request or question he always responded with enthusiasm. On our last day we checked out at 4am and he still took us to the pick up point at that ungodly hour. Yep Mr and Mrs Wang's customer service is just first class. The room was large, queen deluxe double, and the furnishings were traditional chinese furniture made of Rosewood. Very Expensive furniture for a hotel room. Shower worked well and was hot. However be aware its chinese style wet floor system ie there is no shower curtain between the shower and a small part of the bathroom does get wet if youare not careful. MR Wang said it will be one his improvement on his priority list. Hopefully by the time you booked the problem will have been resolved The hotel is very close to the main streets. About 5 min walk. The city of pingyao is worth visiting, it is one of the very walled cities left in China, with its old buildings intact and people still living it. All the city walls are also intact. Magnificent at night.

E'grande per la stagione autunnale. Le persone non sono in collina e non sono in fila. L'hotel è anche super economico Questa casa è nella zona nord-est della città antica. Le strutture dell'hotel sono molto nuove e lo stile cinese è molto bello Le strutture sono complete per cantare K, giocare a tavolo e lavare la macchina per lavarsi e asciugare (per Simone, io ho lavato la cenere con la gonna bianca molto pulita) Le strutture della stanza sono anche molto buone. Il calore è abbastanza!!Se l'apparecchiatura è un aggiuntatore, un forno elettrico è un profumo, non si pugnala per la testa Il serbatoio di riscaldamento è dotato di un solo serbatoio interno. È molto intimo. La cosa più ridicola è che la stanza è anche chiamata!Il mio amico ha anche specificato un tormento bianco Il personale del popolo, la signorina Eisen, è molto entusiasta di parlare e di vivere in questa casa la prossima volta.

The Yunzhong Chaoran Pavilion was newly renovated just prior to our stay in January 2026. The whole building is spotless, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The staff make an effort to understand you, and are adept at using translation apps when conversation breaks down. They have a “Xiao Du” feature , similar to the American “Alexa”, where you can ask it to turn lights off and on, as well as to open and close the curtains . The receptionist patiently helped me to learn how to use it - and frankly , it was great practice for my pronunciation of Mandarin. Finding the hotel is as challenging as any other located where vehicles are not permitted to enter. We were fortunate to have a taxi driver who helped us figure out where the hotel was, and then walked us there. Datong is not yet well known as a tourist destination. However, it is a reasonably close drive to the Hanging Temple and the Grottoes, as well as the Wooden Pagoda. There is plenty to see within walking distance. The city space around the hotel is under construction- I expect it will become a lot more popular in the next two years.

Ancora più ammirevole è la loro straordinaria abilità con gli animali: la locanda sembra un piccolo zoo, e la loro dolcezza e pazienza verso ogni animale rendono l'intero cortile vivace e spirituale. Appena entrato, un pappagallo grigio era posato sulla reception, calmo eppure vivace. Era la prima volta che vedevo un pappagallo domestico così grande! Accanto a lui, due pappagalli più piccoli chiacchieravano, per nulla spaventati dagli estranei, vivaci e adorabili. Fuori dalla mia stanza c'era un piccolo cortile con due tavoli da tè. Dopo una giornata estenuante di visite ai templi antichi, quando la stanchezza mi faceva quasi piangere, sedermi lì a bere un tè era un vero piacere. Nel vicino laghetto, una dozzina di carpe koi, ognuna di almeno un chilo o più, nuotavano con grazia, colorate e sinuose; sul bordo del laghetto, due tartarughe, una grande e una piccola, si riposavano lentamente, tranquille e rilassanti. In un angolo, una piccola scoiattola grigia saltellava nella sua gabbia, vivace e giocosa. Al calar della notte, guardando le luci riflettersi sull'acqua e ascoltando i deboli suoni degli animali, la stanchezza del viaggio sembrava placarsi dolcemente in quest'atmosfera serena, riempiendo il mio cuore di pace e guarigione. Pensavo che questa bellezza fosse già il culmine, ma inaspettatamente, la mattina dopo mi aspettava una nuova sorpresa: nel cortile, due pavoni camminavano con le loro magnifiche code spiegate. C'erano 'Wenqing', bianco e blu, e 'Xiaofeng', dalle piume verde smeraldo – sì, avete capito bene, avevano persino dei nomi! Le macchie a forma di occhio sulle loro code brillavano, come se avessero indossato l'intero cielo stellato, belli come se fossero usciti da un dipinto antico. Per un momento, non riuscivo a distinguere se fossi in una locanda o in un luogo segreto. La locanda Renyi è molto più di un semplice alloggio; è un piccolo paradiso nascosto nell'antica città. La convivenza armoniosa tra persone e animali è calorosa e curativa, e ha aggiunto innumerevoli momenti di tenerezza e gioia al mio viaggio.

Il servizio fornito dal personale era di prima classe. La varietà del colazione era anche favolosa. C'è un mercato di cibo a fianco della strada notturna all'opuscolo dell'hotel che offre interessanti opzioni di cibo e snack. C'è anche un grande parco all'ospedale che offre una buona rotta di funzionamento.
