Cina: hotel con parcheggio nella provincia di Shanxi

I’ve been completely captivated by the atmosphere here at Pipa Old Inn during my stay. The whole inn is wonderfully antique; walking into the room, the clean bed and wooden window frames create a charming contrast, immediately enveloping you in a warm feeling, as if you’ve stepped into a quiet bygone era. But what truly touched me were the staff; their smiles were warmer than the morning sun. From check-in to answering my questions, every thoughtful gesture made me feel like I was coming home. And the true highlight of the day began with breakfast. The golden fried bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the millet porridge was warm, sweet, and fragrant, and the lamb offal noodles were steaming hot, spicy, and satisfying – simple, yet they truly nourished both body and soul. Sitting in the rustic room, the joy of a good carbonated drink was so real, instantly recharging me, making me want to take this contentment and go explore every corner of Datong. If you come to Datong and want to truly immerse yourself in history while being surrounded by a warm, homey atmosphere, Pipa Old Inn will not disappoint.

The Yunzhong Chaoran Pavilion was newly renovated just prior to our stay in January 2026. The whole building is spotless, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The staff make an effort to understand you, and are adept at using translation apps when conversation breaks down. They have a “Xiao Du” feature , similar to the American “Alexa”, where you can ask it to turn lights off and on, as well as to open and close the curtains . The receptionist patiently helped me to learn how to use it - and frankly , it was great practice for my pronunciation of Mandarin. Finding the hotel is as challenging as any other located where vehicles are not permitted to enter. We were fortunate to have a taxi driver who helped us figure out where the hotel was, and then walked us there. Datong is not yet well known as a tourist destination. However, it is a reasonably close drive to the Hanging Temple and the Grottoes, as well as the Wooden Pagoda. There is plenty to see within walking distance. The city space around the hotel is under construction- I expect it will become a lot more popular in the next two years.

Molto soddisfatto della stanza. Adesso quando porto fuori i miei figli, mi piace soprattutto prenotare una stanza con un divano. La cosa più sorprendente è che la stanza è dotata di Bluetooth stereo, che può riprodurre musica dai telefoni cellulari, e anche la TV ha l'audio stereo in tutta la casa. La reception mi ha fatto anche dei piccoli regali e delle specialità, che mi sono piaciute moltissimo. La posizione dell'hotel è molto comoda, a poche centinaia di metri si trova Bell Tower Street. Il bambino ha anche giocato a copione nelle vicinanze. Sceglierò di rimanere qui la prossima volta che verrò a Taiyuan.

L'hotel è al centro della strada pedonale del mercato notturno. Se si gode di controllare il mercato notturno, questo hotel è perfettamente situato. La mia stanza era di fronte al mercato strada/notte, non è rumoroso se la finestra è chiusa. E la strada diventa tranquilla dopo le 11:00. Tutto era perfetto per me.

La stanza era molto calda, situata al primo piano, in un'altra villa rispetto alla reception, ma comunque molto sicura. Le dotazioni della camera erano piuttosto complete, inclusi asciugamani monouso, il che è stato comodo. Per raggiungere la città vecchia, è meglio prendere un taxi, dato che le auto non possono entrare e devono parcheggiare fuori dalla porta nord. La zona è abbastanza tranquilla. A Datong abbiamo comprato delle piccole statue di Buddha e aceto di olivello spinoso; sconsiglio di comprarne troppi, la guida ci ha consigliato di preferire solo marche conosciute.

Situato nel centro storico, a soli dieci minuti a piedi dal Palazzo Daiwang e a un minuto dal Tempio Huayan, è estremamente comodo. I proprietari sono molto gentili e il servizio è eccellente; ci hanno persino offerto della frutta fresca gratuita. L'ambiente è molto confortevole, l'insonorizzazione è buona e le strutture sono complete. Lo consiglio vivamente.

L'hotel in sé è un'attrazione turistica, l'edificio è bellissimo e magnifico! Tutto il personale addetto al servizio è molto professionale ed entusiasta. La cameriera che mi ha fatto il check-in è stata davvero concisa e professionale, e molto abile nel suo lavoro. 👍 Parcheggio facile. Lo Shanxi Hotel è molto famoso per la sua cucina. Non è necessario prendere un numero per il pranzo, ma è necessario prendere un numero per la cena alle 17:00, e il pasto inizia alle 17:50. Il buffet dell'hotel è davvero ottimo, con tutti i tipi di noodles dello Shanxi, siu mai di montone, Fenjiu e vino giallo 😀 e una varietà di frutta fresca.

E'molto importante per l'hotel scegliere un viaggio con grande compagnia!Questa casa si trova a pochi passi dalla città antica, e si può camminare per la strada antica della città; sotto è Cago, il grasso e la carne sono stati bruciati con la mano, e il fuoco del terreno è pieno.La stanza è pulita e confortevole, il personale è entusiasta, il cibo è risparmiato e l'esperienza è fantastica!

Il primo volo di rotazione del volo mattino, l'aeroporto è arrivato dopo la strada, si può vedere il decollo.Naturalmente si può sentire il suono di ✈️, ma l'aeroporto di Liangcheng non ha molti voli ogni giorno e non sarà sempre ingombrato. Nuova decorazione, stanza pulita, dotata di elfi di gatto, finestre elettriche, divano. Incredible! The only minus is that it is not centrally located, so you'll have to take the taxi to the center (Old city), but it is in a lively neighbourhood. When you enter the building and see the elevator, you might have second thoughts for a moment (😉), but then...the ROOM! Huge, extra clean, ultra modern with brand new amenities, everything controlled at a touch of a button...Staff is very welcoming and attentive too. We loved it and couldn't recommend it more! Note: for some strange reason, the exact name of the hotel is Karen Boman hotel not the Sheng Gloria plaza (check building photo), so don't be confused when you get to the address. The entrance is on the right side of the building.
