Cina: hotel con parcheggio nella provincia di Shanxi

I’ve been completely captivated by the atmosphere here at Pipa Old Inn during my stay. The whole inn is wonderfully antique; walking into the room, the clean bed and wooden window frames create a charming contrast, immediately enveloping you in a warm feeling, as if you’ve stepped into a quiet bygone era. But what truly touched me were the staff; their smiles were warmer than the morning sun. From check-in to answering my questions, every thoughtful gesture made me feel like I was coming home. And the true highlight of the day began with breakfast. The golden fried bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the millet porridge was warm, sweet, and fragrant, and the lamb offal noodles were steaming hot, spicy, and satisfying – simple, yet they truly nourished both body and soul. Sitting in the rustic room, the joy of a good carbonated drink was so real, instantly recharging me, making me want to take this contentment and go explore every corner of Datong. If you come to Datong and want to truly immerse yourself in history while being surrounded by a warm, homey atmosphere, Pipa Old Inn will not disappoint.

The Yunzhong Chaoran Pavilion was newly renovated just prior to our stay in January 2026. The whole building is spotless, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The staff make an effort to understand you, and are adept at using translation apps when conversation breaks down. They have a “Xiao Du” feature , similar to the American “Alexa”, where you can ask it to turn lights off and on, as well as to open and close the curtains . The receptionist patiently helped me to learn how to use it - and frankly , it was great practice for my pronunciation of Mandarin. Finding the hotel is as challenging as any other located where vehicles are not permitted to enter. We were fortunate to have a taxi driver who helped us figure out where the hotel was, and then walked us there. Datong is not yet well known as a tourist destination. However, it is a reasonably close drive to the Hanging Temple and the Grottoes, as well as the Wooden Pagoda. There is plenty to see within walking distance. The city space around the hotel is under construction- I expect it will become a lot more popular in the next two years.

L'hotel è di alto livello, dal check-in al servizio in camera è eccellente. Il personale è molto disponibile e cortese, ci ha anche aiutato con i bagagli. Alla reception, sapendo che eravamo con un bambino, ci hanno offerto gratuitamente un buono colazione da 68 RMB. La colazione era abbondante. Tra tutti gli hotel in cui ho soggiornato, è la prima volta che offrono proattivamente del cibo da portare via per il bambino, un gesto davvero apprezzabile! Il servizio in camera è attento e sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Hanno anche un servizio di congee a tarda notte. Anche il bagno è ottimo, con il personale che ci ha prontamente fornito tutti gli articoli da toeletta.

Accoglienza fantastica, il ragazzo mi è venuto a prendere in stazione e in macchina mi ha fatto vedere un video introduzione alla città in inglese. La camera era spaziosa (per gli standard in Cina) e pulita. Tutto il necessario: asciugamani, saponi, ciabatte e kit spazzolino. La camera era bella calda la notte, il letto duro ma per me era comodo così. Le camere si trovano in questa bellissima struttura tradizionale, vicinissima all’area pedonale della città vecchia. La colazione è fissa e consiste in piatti cinesi, a mio avviso molto buona e sufficiente. Secondo me questa struttura ha un buon rapporto qualità prezzo, il servizio però superlativo, oltre all’accoglienza ho sempre ricevuto risposte rapide alle mie domande.

Il servizio è molto buono, il capo è molto entusiasta e l'igiene è molto buona. Ogni volta che viene a Taiwán, questa residenza è per molti giorni. Qualsiasi cosa manca può essere richiesto in qualsiasi momento, può essere consegnata gratuitamente, il valore assoluto è superiore!

L'hotel è vicino all'aeroporto, il consegna è molto conveniente, la stanza è pulita e pulita, il servizio è attento, soprattutto il manager di guaio ha prestato attenzione al servizio durante il buon soggiorno, ha mandato un piccolo regalo dal negozio e ha un super caldo. Il piccolo Qingmin Xiao Jiang ha aiutato a cambiare la stanza e il soggiorno è molto soddisfatto per trasportare la prima scelta per il soggiorno della città.

Location: near LinFenXi High Speed Rail Station 临汾西站(10mins drive/ 20mins by local public transport to LuoGuQiaoTou 锣鼓桥头站). Best is that they provide pick-up and drop-off at HSR station, just make a call 3 hours in advance. I dont have local number, so I email them in advance before my trip, they replied my email and provide me their WeChat number so I can make reservation for the pick-up service at the station. Many local tours have pick-up and drop-off service near the hotel (junction outside the hotel), easy and convenient. Services: warm and welcoming services. Tea and drinks in the lobby, luggage storage as well. Room: clean big room, big screen TV, mini bar fridge, bathrobe and comfy king bed. Lavender shower shampoo, hand soap and body lotion, make me feel so so much relax. Laundry: laundry machine are free of charge (washer and dryer). Laundry room provide ironing equipment, books, drink as well. Definitely not get bored. Otherwise, can use phone connect their website to make a reminder while the laundry have done (so convenient). Gym Room: just opposite and same level of laundry room. Treadmill are so new. Breakfast: varieties of choice. Before that I already crave for coffee since it is not so common to find espresso in the local breakfast restaurant. Salad bar, local meatball soup, noodles, dumplings, wantons, boiled egg, fried egg, fried tomato with egg and local cooked food. So many choice and so satisfying. However they dont have egg omelette, it is fine for me. I found that even though not staying at LinFen city centre, it is still fine to stay here as the traffic here is convenient. And here is more quiet and more relax👍 The only thing I dont like is, some customer smoking in the lift and hotel lobby (even though there is a sign in the lift to advice not to smoke), definitely affecting those unlike smoking smell and sick of cigarette smell like me.

The hotel is located very well across from the airport, and it is a 10-minute walk from the airport. The room is large, the bed is comfortable, but the room has a lot of smoke, so the windows are open to ventilate.

We loved our stay in Taiyuan and this was probably the best overall hotel of our trip! If you can't find it in the alley simply walk into the most beautiful entrance. The interior designer must have been happy as well, lots of nice artwork and style, very nice room, comfy bed, great breakfast buffet. Perfect location yet quiet, in the old centre full of shops and restaurants, buzzy nightlife, don't miss the 'Paris Baguette' in the same alley! By the way, to get to the wonderful Jinci Temple we simply took the subway to Xiqiao and then a Didi.

Ci siamo appena resi conto che la camera in offerta speciale che avevamo prenotato doveva essere stata migliorata, perché c'erano ancora delle camere rimaste in saldo durante i saldi di bassa stagione. Era una camera con una vista fantastica e un'ottima posizione, e non ce l'hanno nemmeno detto finché non abbiamo controllato la nostra prenotazione nella recensione. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è incredibilmente alto e vale sicuramente la pena visitarlo fuori stagione. Non c'erano code per i posti più gettonati e la giornata di sole dopo una nevicata aveva un fascino unico. Anche il personale dell'hotel è stato eccezionalmente gentile; ci hanno persino preparato due tazze di caffè. Altamente consigliato!
