Uganda: hotel con internet nella provincia di Regione Centrale

There were many other hotels we could have chosen to stay in Kampala but having had such a great experience 4 months ago, we decided to return to the Protea Hotel by Marriott in Kampala. Joan and Charlotte were very good at checking us in quickly. Thank you so much as we were very tired having travelled nearly 20 hours by plane! Maurice, Noah and Rehema were excellent with their customer service by ensuring my mother and I had everything needed for a nice evening. Our room did not have a mini fridge so Maurice suggested he will go and check for a spare one. Maurice brought us one, given the fact that the hotel was almost full. Noah, thank you for all your help in making the tasks I needed completing easier and quick. Maurice, Noah and Rehema thank you for your great hospitality. You were all so kind. Jasper, Sampson and Issac looked after us when we were having diner in our room and made sure we had what we needed by being so quick with their service. They had to run to the kitchen back and forth and were very efficient although they were all very busy that night. In the morning, the breakfast buffet was great with a big variety of food choices. The chef on the night duty made some Poha upon our request, thank you for doing that for us. The Poha was delicious and so were the Indian pakoras. Chef Godfrey made beautiful omelettes as we wanted and went beyond his time to fulfil my mother's need with the chillies. Derrick made us teas the way we liked and the teas were perfect. Cissy and Aisha thank you for your kindness and service. Sharon it was lovely to see you and wish you all the best. The buffet was a mixture of continental and cooked breakfast with a couple of ”chef's speciality of the day” which were delicious! Well worth the money. Samuel, thank you for your speedy checkout and your advice. Thank you all again for your kindness and making another stay wonderful. We will miss you all but promise to return again in the near future. Each one of you have contributed to another great stay and made it even more special, you were all very friendly, courteous and very accommodating. The quality of each of you was very impressive. With regards to the hotel, it was great to see some improvements to the room. The bed was very comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud :) The room was very clean, spacious and the new decor was superb. However the shower gel needs to be changed back to the old style one as the new gel is so runny like water and not soapy at all! Also, the WiFi was a bit slow this time and got cut a few times. Still giving 5 out of 5 stars as each member of the staff were amazing and professional with their duties. Can not wait to see the refurbished version of the hotel in months to come :)

Visita questo bellissimo hotel durante un viaggio d'affari a Kampala. L'hotel vive fino a tutti i valori e i servizi che si possono collegare con gli hotel Hilton. Il cibo pulito e chic, sorprendente nel ristorante e un soggiorno molto confortevole come l'atmosfera. Ho superato le mie aspettative in modo piacevole, poiché sono stato immediatamente riconosciuto come un prezioso ospite che torna all'hotel. Kudos al leader!

I miei amici e io abbiamo goduto il posto e abbiamo avuto un bel tempo. Eravamo ben serviti da Emmanuel che ha lasciato un sorriso sulle nostre facce. Hanno molti posti seduti, ma il bar Kololo ha una bella vista con una freccia fredda e un bel paesaggio. Egli si teneva il posto pulito e noi li videmmo cambiare le mutande. Emmanuel ci ha dato il miglior servizio, perché era ospite, divertente e pieno di sorriso. Io consiglierei il posto a chiunque e ritornerò.

The ambience in the breakfast area at the Serena is just amazing! The nature sounds from the water falls, the pond with water lily and croaking frogs, the tweeting little birds. And this is before you get to the bountiful spread. Yes the value for money for a drop in customer is an open question especially for a senior citizen with disciplined palate but then again perhaps that senior citizen will not quibble over a few thousand shillings.

Una esperienza molto deludente, oltre ogni dire. Il più caro hotel di Entebbe ha di bello solo la posizione sul lago, il resto meglio dimenticarlo: camera piccola e non fornita (niente frigobar, niente slippers, mediocri amenities) ristorante disorganizzato, confusionario e non privo di inconvenenti seri (ringrazio lo Chef Stanley per averci messo la faccia), camerieri sbandati e travolti dalle richieste (eccetto uno, Deus), cibo scadente o terminato (per due giorni ho cercato di avere il chicken luwombo, piatto tipico ugandese, e non è stato possibile! Il loro piatto nazionale! Come se in Italia il ristorante non avesse la pasta!). In compenso, due cose buone: palestra bella e attrezzata e colazione a buffet al mattino del tutto soddisfacente Reception musona (eccetto una, Teddy ,che sorride) e molto fiscale (ho avuto la camera alle 14.30 esatte, neanche un minuto prima, ma mi hanno cambiato la camera tre volte prima la 209, poi la 128 e infine la piccola 126, il cui numero -non a caso- ricorda le dimensioni della piccola auto della Fiat,. In conclusione: un hotel overpriced che non vale quello che promette.

Koki hotel is in central Kampala. It's a prime location being so close to many banks, the market and the taxi buses to get to other parts of Uganda. So location is 10/10. Customer service is also first class. I was served by Juliet who reserved me a room as I was checking in at night. The room itself was excellent - tea and coffee check, water bottles check , AC and big screen Tv check, fridge check, iron and ironing board check. The only thing missing was a safety deposit box for my valuables. But the hotel itself was secure. The next morning I was too tired to go to breakfast so for 10k ($3) I got breakfast in bed. And a good buffet it was too. All in all a wonderful relaxing time in a suppers value for money hotel in central Kampala. I will mow def stay here in all my future trips to Uganda. Every staff member I met was courteous and welcoming. Congrats Koki hotel.... you have every right to be cocky !!!! :)

Il personale è stato utile dal momento in cui ho prenotato, rispondendo a molte domande e facendo cambiamenti alla mia prenotazione con facilità. Il mio trasferimento aeroportuale è stato organizzato dall'hotel per la mia arrivo alle 2 e è stato un viaggio sicuro all'hotel. La suite era molto spaziosa con una doccia, una piccola cucina, un pannello di ferro e di ferro, e il ristorante sul piano superiore ha una terrazza di tetto con una splendida vista sulla città e era un punto di vista ogni mattina e ogni sera. Il pranzo era sostanziale e variabile ogni giorno.

Out of all the hotels that I stayed at in Uganda, this one stood out like a gem. Quality was amazing, absolutely no issues. Staff is super friendly and resolves everything in seconds. Immaculately clean. Has the best view out of all hotels in Uganda, would really recommend this hotel if you are travelling to Entebbe. Service is awesome and this hotel has everything you could want for a nights stay. I wouldn’t encourage this if you want the sort of hotels with activities and loads of stuff to do at daytime, but if you want quality nightlife and a great sleep, this would be the one to chose. I had a great experience here and I hope that if you chose it, you will also have a terrific time!

There was lots that I loved about this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the location is great (attached to the mall and opposite the craft centre). The food was very good, the rooms were stylish and well equipped (excellent hot shower, wifi, TV, hairdryer, balcony) and the complimentary airport transfer was much appreciated. I had chosen this hotel principally for its swimming pool which was beautiful. But I discovered that this is also used by locals at weekends. There were various soundboxes (all competing to be the loudest!), and children and groups jumping in and being very noisy. This felt like a public pool, not a hotel pool, and not a place where hotel guests can relax. I have no problem with locals using the pool, but feel that Best Western should maintain the standards displayed in the hotel. I was also unlucky to not sleep well due to a great deal of noise until after 1am from guests in the corridor/lobby, I assume from a late night in the bar.

Il mio 2° soggiorno qui e mi è piaciuto molto come al solito, il cibo sul sito è molto buono e molto conveniente e ci sono alcol disponibile per l'acquisto anche, la navetta a e indietro dall'aeroporto è molto conveniente e la posizione perfetta se ti piace il silenzio e la bella natura circostante, grazie speciali vanno a Joseph e alla sua famiglia, e soprattutto Katie che fornisce sempre il servizio con un sorriso.

Tutto piaceva, un buon hotel

Dopo le mie esperienze qui, non mi sarei mai scelto altrove! Si vanno oltre e oltre rendendo il vostro tempo in Entebbe sicuro, sano, comodo, facile da gestire cose come la guida, trovando deliziosi cibo (sia sul luogo che fuori e su), trovando dove fare transazioni per ricevere gli scalini Uganda, e altro ancora! Ci sono schermi nelle finestre, la maggior parte delle camere hanno unità AC, ci sono poche camere con due letti matrimoniali e un letto matrimoniale (favorisce stare con una famiglia così tanto più facile), tavoli, ecc. Tutto l'Uganda si occupa di scarichi di energia e bassa pressione idrica a volte; l'Hotel Executive Airport fa il loro meglio per combattere qualsiasi problema con un generatore e un buco d'acqua per una fluidizzazione più rapida. Il personale è rispettoso e gentile a ALL, non potevamo chiedere di più! Molto raccomandato!
