Great location to explore Dunedin city. Room is large and very clean. Beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly. We will be back again.

Wonderful Experience! Poshtel is an antique-style hotel with beautifully designed interiors. Each room has its own unique theme, classic and full of character, making the stay truly memorable. The overall cleanliness is good and the atmosphere feels cozy and charming. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. When we were stuck due to a strong wind red warning, with public transportation canceled and unable to reach another city to catch our flight, the hotel team went above and beyond. They helped us book an alternative driver and kindly extended our checkout time, giving us more flexibility to plan for contingencies. We truly appreciate their assistance and thoughtful service. Highly recommend Poshtel for its distinctive character and outstanding hospitality!

Ci sono camere indipendenti, alta privacy, spaziose locali, facile raggiungere il lago. Le strutture devono essere migliorate, la cucina non ha fornito attrezzature di cucina e lavastoviglie calde per pagare l'acquisto. Per quanto riguarda il servizio, a volte non tiene conto delle esigenze dei clienti, prima di controllare il tempo, pulire il bagno, rendendo i clienti necessari molto inconveniente.

Unfortunately, my stay was not very comfortable. The soundproofing is very poor, and there is a nightclub nearby that plays very loud music late into the night, making it difficult to sleep. For those who drive, can park on the roadside across the street for free after 6pm. In addition, the shower water pressure was very low, which was disappointing.

Abbiamo goduto il nostro soggiorno nel campo. Una esperienza molto diversa dagli hotel come è un soggiorno comune, ma con la privacy della vostra unità. Il personale ha prestato attenzione alle nostre esigenze e ha fornito assistenza immediatamente. Resterò qui se avessi visitato il Lago Hawea!

Pinewood Queenstown offre una combinazione unica di stili di alloggio, rendendola una scelta versatile per i viaggiatori di tutti i tipi. La proprietà si sente come un piccolo villaggio, con diverse case e cabine diffuse in un spazioso e affollato contesto. La posizione è eccellente, solo a pochi passi dal cuore di Queenstown, ma è ancora abbastanza lontano da sentirsi tranquillo. Il personale era benvenuto e utile, e il processo di check-in era regolare. Parcheggio limitato così essere presto!

In generale, questo alloggio era eccellente e superava le nostre aspettative, e l'unità era molto spaziosa, ben mantenuta e senza spot, che ci faceva sentire immediatamente comodi e comodi. La struttura era pratica e adatta per soggiorni brevi e lunghi, con spazio ampio per spostarsi e rilassarsi. Una delle maggiori vantaggi è stata la facile localizzazione del luogo. Istruzioni chiare e una posizione conveniente facevano check-in senza stress e senza stress, soprattutto dopo un lungo viaggio. La zona circostante era anche tranquilla e piacevole, consentendo un soggiorno tranquillo. La pulizia era chiaramente una priorità, dalle stanze alle aree comuni, che apprezzavamo veramente. In generale, questo alloggio offre grande comfort, comodità e valore. Lo raccomandaremmo certamente agli altri e non esitaremmo a rimanere qui in futuro.

Unlike Haka House in Queenstown which has free coffee and tea, this hostel doesn’t have any. It is only $3 though. But the space in the rooms were bigger than then one in the city center. Big kitchen area, and bigger lounge.  You can borrow a cord for your charger. Negative feedback: this is infront of the lake and my room was facing the lake  and so i can hear  the sound of the cars passing by, the noise from the people walking in the road if they were too loud. It’s not something very distracting.  Second one: the “clean towels” use to dry the utensils are looking dirty even if they were freshly washed because of the stains and probably because it’s old and has been used a lot. Also, they don’t put unlimited supplies of the towels to dry, I saw the lady putting only 3 towels unlike in Haka house queenstown and the haka house in mt cook where they put unlimited supplies of clean towels and they look clean and presentable. I didn’t even use those towels to dry the utensils/cutleries I just air dry them to the side. The sponge also looks old and worn out..it would be nice if they are replaced at least every 10-15 days.

This was my second time staying here, and it was just as good as the first. The chalet was different from my previous stay, but the quality remained excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The experience was just as enjoyable, proving that this place is consistently reliable. Will definitely return again!

Really nice looking room and a very good price performance ratio. And you even get a complimentary drink. Room was nice and warm upon arrival. I didnt really understand the self checkin for a second, cause i didnt know the rooms were directly at the parkinglot, where the whiteboards and the name are written. Really easy and useful for a fast checkin and checkout. I would stay there again.
