Giappone: hotel con internet nella provincia di Prefettura di Ōita

The room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

It’s the third time we came to Yufuin. Previously, we stayed in onsen hotels with meals provided. This time we are staying for 2 months in Japan to experience the local life, and Yufuin was our third stop, where we stayed for 6 nights. The service is top notch. The host responded very quickly whenever I had queries, and very clear instructions for free pick-up were given days before check-in. As we stepped in the house, the air- conditioner had already been turned on there were 3 big bottles of water in the fridge which made us feel so welcome. They collected our trash every day and asked us what we needed. The guesthouse is an independent unit full of beautiful Japanese decorations. It was sparkling clean and thoughtfully furnished with everything you need. A first-aid box was provided. We were given 12 sets of clean towels and toilet amenities, including toothbrushes. We have stayed in different apartments before and have never experienced this. More importantly, the kitchen was well equipped with everything—many cutlery items of different sizes and even wine glasses. There were a hot pot and a frying pan, a toaster, rice cooker, coffee machine, and even a dishwasher. You can't imagine there is even a massage chair! The bathroom was designed like an onsen. You can simply add some onsen powder to enjoy a hot bath. You can easily access different attractions on foot. The location is about a 20-minute walk to the nearby supermarkets, 25 minutes to the main shopping streets, and 30 minutes to the JR station. If you drive, it is even easier. For us, we enjoyed walking and seeing the beautiful scenery, so it was not a problem for us even though we didn’t drive. Every day we walked to the supermarkets and bought fresh produce to cook. We had so much fun making different dishes and hot pot. When we asked for a whetstone, the host quickly gave us theirs, and the next day, they bought us a new one. They even gave us sake as a gift. On the day of check-out, the host drove us to the JR station and helped us store our luggage in the visitors’ centre. Next time when we come to Yufuin, we will definitely stay here again. It’s really great value for money.

I just returned from an unforgettable stay at Amanek Beppu Yula Re and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into a perfect blend of modern luxury and traditional Japanese hospitality. This is hands-down one of the best hotels we’ve ever experienced for a romantic getaway. The onsen is absolutely amazing. The natural hot springs are incredibly soothing, with beautiful bathing areas that offer both indoor and outdoor options and a great view from the window. I spent hours relaxing in the mineral-rich waters, feeling completely rejuvenated. Paired with the stunning infinity pool, which overlooks the city and mountains, it created some of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever enjoyed. Watching the night view from the pool and the hot tub was pure magic. There’s also a bar besides the pool The location is unbeatable. Everything is walkable — restaurants, shops, attractions, and scenic spots are all right at your doorstep. We were also just a short stroll from the bus and train stations, making day trips effortless. No need for complicated transfers, which made exploring Beppu feel seamless and stress-free. The free welcome drinks were a lovely touch — beautifully presented and the perfect way to unwind after traveling. The common areas are super inviting and stylish, making them an ideal spot to hang out in the evenings. We loved curling up with a book or just chatting while taking in the ambiance. This hotel is genuinely romantic — perfect for couples looking for intimate dates, whether it’s a quiet evening by the pool, a stroll through the neighborhood, or simply enjoying each other’s company in such a serene setting. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, the rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, and every detail felt thoughtfully designed. Amanek Beppu Yula Re has raised the bar for what a memorable stay should be. If you’re visiting Beppu, especially for a romantic escape, do yourself a favor and book here. We’re already planning our return trip! Highly, highly recommended — 5/5 stars, and worth every penny.

The hostel was very nice and had a cozy charm to it. I also met some very nice people there. There is an Onsen in the hostel, and you can get a satisfying breakfast for around 800 Yen. The owner was very kind and offers evening walks (which I highly recommend) and a ride to the station in the morning. The only downside is that it's an around 30 minutes walk uphill from Floral Village, but the view from there is worth it. All in all I highly recommend it!

The overall stay experience was excellent, and I would especially like to commend Li-Ying Wu (also known as Go Reiei) from Taiwan. From the very beginning of the check-in process, she demonstrated a professional attitude by thoroughly explaining all the hotel's facilities and services. She always wore a warm and welcoming smile, which truly reflected her dedication to her work and her respect for the guests. During my stay, my family had quite a few demanding and complicated requests, requiring frequent assistance from the staff. Throughout it all, Li-Ying patiently addressed every single question without showing any sign of impatience.

Location is convenient, just next to Beppu railway station. The onsen ryokan interiors were very calming and welcoming. Staff was friendly and gracious to help. Room was spacious for Japan’s standards. There were time limits for the private onsens, but some did not and the staff could do nothing, thus it took some time to queue for our turn. The free ramen at supper time was of decent portion and taste. Breakfast was add-on, but well worth the price and definitely a highlight of the hotel. One thing to improve was the lingering urine and poop smell in all 3 elevators (equipped with an emergency lavatory). I think the staff placed one fragrance diffuser per elevator, but it was definitely not enough to cover the smell. Maybe need to replace or remove the lavatory?

Stayed at Sanso Kannawaen during a family trip in Beppu and it was truly one of the most luxurious Japanese-style ryokan experiences. The atmosphere was peaceful and elegant, combining traditional Japanese design with premium comfort and hospitality. The private onsen in the room was excellent, offering a relaxing experience with beautiful views, while the public onsen facilities were also very impressive. The teppanyaki dinner was a highlight of the stay, with high-quality ingredients and excellent presentation. Rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, making it perfect for a relaxing family getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic luxury onsen experience in Beppu.

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo! Ci tornerei sicuramente. Posizione: è relativamente lontano dalla stazione, circa 8-10 minuti a piedi. C'è un 7-Eleven proprio dietro l'angolo. Camera: la mia camera non aveva il bagno privato, ma per le donne ci sono 3 cabine condivise tra i 7 ospiti misti al piano. Non ho dovuto fare la fila. C'era spazio più che sufficiente nella stanza per aprire completamente la valigia e sentirmi comunque a mio agio. Il letto e il cuscino erano un po' duri, e si sentivano le persone che parlavano ad alta voce al piano di sotto, dato che la camera era al secondo piano, anche se non succedeva molto spesso. Cibo: colazione equilibrata fantastica che cambiava ogni giorno - davvero deliziosa! Onsen: quello al secondo piano era più piccolo di quello al primo, ma molto bello e confortevole. Anche pulito. È possibile prenotare una stanza onsen privata per 500 yen (50 minuti). Personale: tutti erano super gentili, disponibili e mi hanno fatto sentire benvenuto. È disponibile anche personale che parla inglese 24 ore su 24 :)
