Giappone: hotel con internet nella provincia di Prefettura di Ōita

The room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

It’s the third time we came to Yufuin. Previously, we stayed in onsen hotels with meals provided. This time we are staying for 2 months in Japan to experience the local life, and Yufuin was our third stop, where we stayed for 6 nights. The service is top notch. The host responded very quickly whenever I had queries, and very clear instructions for free pick-up were given days before check-in. As we stepped in the house, the air- conditioner had already been turned on there were 3 big bottles of water in the fridge which made us feel so welcome. They collected our trash every day and asked us what we needed. The guesthouse is an independent unit full of beautiful Japanese decorations. It was sparkling clean and thoughtfully furnished with everything you need. A first-aid box was provided. We were given 12 sets of clean towels and toilet amenities, including toothbrushes. We have stayed in different apartments before and have never experienced this. More importantly, the kitchen was well equipped with everything—many cutlery items of different sizes and even wine glasses. There were a hot pot and a frying pan, a toaster, rice cooker, coffee machine, and even a dishwasher. You can't imagine there is even a massage chair! The bathroom was designed like an onsen. You can simply add some onsen powder to enjoy a hot bath. You can easily access different attractions on foot. The location is about a 20-minute walk to the nearby supermarkets, 25 minutes to the main shopping streets, and 30 minutes to the JR station. If you drive, it is even easier. For us, we enjoyed walking and seeing the beautiful scenery, so it was not a problem for us even though we didn’t drive. Every day we walked to the supermarkets and bought fresh produce to cook. We had so much fun making different dishes and hot pot. When we asked for a whetstone, the host quickly gave us theirs, and the next day, they bought us a new one. They even gave us sake as a gift. On the day of check-out, the host drove us to the JR station and helped us store our luggage in the visitors’ centre. Next time when we come to Yufuin, we will definitely stay here again. It’s really great value for money.

Le camere sono un po' piccole, ma nella norma per gli hotel giapponesi. La posizione è ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Beppu e con molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Adoro il fatto che questo hotel abbia una piscina sul tetto con una vista mozzafiato su Beppu (anche se la piscina è molto bassa). Ci siamo fatti un bel bagno nell'onsen dell'hotel, ma il mio compagno ha detto che era un po' sporco nella sezione maschile. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto usufruire dell'alcol a volontà per 1000 yen a causa del poco tempo a disposizione, ma sarebbe perfetto per gli amanti dell'alcol! Lo consiglio vivamente e ci tornerò! Personale gentile, pulito e accogliente!

Un servizio fantastico da Yoshi San di Dining, Amy di Front Desk. L'hotel è piccolo con strutture limitate, ma cercano di creare le loro attività con gli impegni degli ospiti, come l'esercizio mattinale, il bevanda gratis, l'istruzione di laboratorio di acqua, il divertimento musicale e alcuni giochi per gli ospiti di godere. Molto raccomandato.

Ho prenotato per un lunedì feriale dopo le 19:00, ho cenato all'Aeon vicino alla stazione di Yufuin e ho fatto il check-in. Non ci sono negozi nei pressi del Country Road Youth Hostel, quindi ho dovuto portarmi il cibo da casa. La sorgente termale era aperta 24 ore su 24, ma sembrava una vasca da bagno a flusso libero, quindi mi chiedevo quando avrebbero pulito la vasca. Le piastrelle della zona lavaggio erano scivolose e ho quasi scivolato e sono caduto. Al check-out, il proprietario ha suonato Country Road alla chitarra, il che è stato delizioso. I servizi includevano un asciugamano gratuito e uno spazzolino da denti da 100 yen. Era perfetto per un soggiorno di solo pernottamento. Ci ho soggiornato durante un tour e il parcheggio coperto gratuito per biciclette con cinque posti auto era molto comodo.

Questa è la mia seconda permanenza all'hotel. Perche' la posizione è molto conveniente. Molto vicino alla stazione Oita. Come altri Dormy Inn, ci sono noodles gratis a notte. Non ho avuto la possibilità di provare le loro noodles. Perche' ci sono così tanti buoni cibi a Oita / Beppu.

The overall stay experience was excellent, and I would especially like to commend Li-Ying Wu (also known as Go Reiei) from Taiwan. From the very beginning of the check-in process, she demonstrated a professional attitude by thoroughly explaining all the hotel's facilities and services. She always wore a warm and welcoming smile, which truly reflected her dedication to her work and her respect for the guests. During my stay, my family had quite a few demanding and complicated requests, requiring frequent assistance from the staff. Throughout it all, Li-Ying patiently addressed every single question without showing any sign of impatience.

Location is convenient, just next to Beppu railway station. The onsen ryokan interiors were very calming and welcoming. Staff was friendly and gracious to help. Room was spacious for Japan’s standards. There were time limits for the private onsens, but some did not and the staff could do nothing, thus it took some time to queue for our turn. The free ramen at supper time was of decent portion and taste. Breakfast was add-on, but well worth the price and definitely a highlight of the hotel. One thing to improve was the lingering urine and poop smell in all 3 elevators (equipped with an emergency lavatory). I think the staff placed one fragrance diffuser per elevator, but it was definitely not enough to cover the smell. Maybe need to replace or remove the lavatory?

Good room and onsen. Staffs are responsive, helpful and friendly. Good shuttle service. Only downside during the stay is the unusually small beef (compared to others on the same table) during teppanyaki dinner. The cook even grimaced awkwardly when he prepared the beef as it is really obvious that my portion is MUCH smaller. Otherwise meals are okay.

Отель оставил очень приятное впечатление — всё понравилось. Особенно интересным оказался опыт сна на татами на полу: для нас это было впервые и стало необычным и запоминающимся. Персонал доброжелательный и внимательный, что добавляет комфорта к проживанию. Отдельным плюсом стали онсэны — в отеле представлено несколько их видов, что делает отдых ещё более расслабляющим и атмосферным. В целом всё было отлично, смело рекомендую этот отель тем, кто хочет попробовать что-то новое и насладиться традиционной японской атмосферой.
