Our stay was great! We received a warm welcome, and the room exceeded our expectations. We had everything we needed — to our surprise, there was even a stove and a microwave. Aside from a few minor details, everything was clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable! The location was perfect for us, and there are a few dining options nearby. We also found the value for money to be very reasonable.

When there is a Steigenberger hotel in my destination it is a no-brainer decision, I just book it. Excellent value for money. High-quality service and very well maintained facilities. The breakfast is fantastic. This time I booked a suite. I love this hotel chain.

Zimmer war sauber. Bett und Kopfkissen bequem. Rollläden ließen sich nicht schließen. Für jemanden der nur abgedunkelt schlafen kann, wäre dass nicht optimal.
Bad ist in die Jahre gekommen. In der Dusche lief das Wasser nur sehr langsam ab.
Frühstückauswahl war gut und die Damen vom Service sehr freundlich.

Grande posizione, a 1 min a piedi dalla metro, una stazione da hbf. Camera pulita, con lavatrice e cucina completa inclusi. Una notte tranquilla e sicura.
Strumenti: la struttura della mia camera è strana, rendendo la stanza oscura la notte, con una sola lampada. Nessuna porta divisa la zona di doccia, quindi il bagno è pieno di acqua dopo ogni bagno. Il doccia si è rotto durante il mio alloggio, e io li ho chiesto di ripararlo, e non lo hanno fatto; dopo un sacco di caos mi hanno offerto di cambiare la stanza, e ho deciso di metterla in piedi e di usare la foresta piovana.
In conclusione, non è male se l'incidente del doccia non fosse avvenuto, il servizio è di grande altezza, ma non così pratico in caso di problemi reali.

Çok sakin sessiz oda, gürültü çıkarmayan bir ranza, bedava otopark, Strasbourg tram D hattı durağına 3 dk. Biz sınırı Rhin köprüsünden yürüyerek geçmeyi tercih ettik. Tram da geçen süreyi dert etmezseniz Strasbourg gezisinde BB Kehl de kalmak kötü fikir değil.

its walkable distance from the hbf and the tram is just outside the hotel. breakfast is the same for both days we stayed. spread was okay, not alot. not much things around if you arrive on sunday because most places are closed, but there is a mall just beside the hotel. toilet is clean but no toilet amenities like toothbrush and toothpaste provided, only shampoo conditioner and shower gel. no bedroom slippers either. but you may purchase them from front desk. space is not too big, but still can open two luggages in each corner. bed is comfy, ac and heated shower was good.

The lobby immediately gave me a great impression – spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated – and the staff at the reception greeted me with genuine smiles and efficiency, making the check-in process smooth and quick.
The room I stayed in was exceptionally comfortable. It was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed, from a cozy bed with crisp linens to a well-stocked minibar, a flat-screen TV, and reliable Wi-Fi. The bathroom was another highlight: clean, modern, and fitted with high-quality amenities. One small detail I appreciated was how quiet the room was; I could truly relax without any disturbance from outside noise.
The service throughout my stay was outstanding. Every member of the staff, from housekeeping to the concierge, went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. They were always polite, attentive, and ready to help with any request, whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local restaurants, or providing extra towels within minutes.
The hotel’s location was another big plus. It is conveniently situated close to [city center / tourist attractions / business district], making it easy to explore the area without spending too much time commuting. Despite being centrally located, the hotel still offered a sense of peace and privacy, which I really appreciated after a long day out.

UUtente ospiteAll in all, not a terrible stay. When we first got there to check in the front desk was closed even though it was 5pm and check in was until 10, and the automatic check in machine was broken with a note on it to pick up our room keys at the hotel across the street. We went there and they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to carry our luggage back across the street after contacting trip.com who replied IMMEDIATELY (thank you guys so much your customer service is incredible!) we got the number to call the hotel after hours and it turns out they forgot to leave our keys so they sent someone back over to let us into our room. We got into our room and it wasn’t the room we booked, it was a room in the attic that on one side I couldn’t even stand up without hitting my head (I’m 5”3) but it had AC and it was a place to rest our heads so it could wait until morning. The next day when we came down we mentioned the room error and the look the first guy gave me was full of contempt, so his customer service was awful. I know I don’t look like a conventional woman with my hair and tattoos and I understand different cultures can collide but that’s fine, though when the manager came to talk to my fiancé his attitude perked up a bit and he found a smile. They got us in the correct room and this room was a normal size but the ac unit for that room is a portable roll about one that the hose wasn’t sticking out the window with the netting correctly and they tried to come fix it (duct tape) but then the hose broke but my fiancé found a way to shove it out the window and it took awhile to get the room cooled down but then it was great. After that the rest of the trip went well, the woman with the copper/red hair was super nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a really good breakfast and the hotel is in a great location with secure parking. Check out Lino’s around the corner for fantastic drinks and the döner place downstairs is killer.
It’s most important that most Germans don’t approve of AC so keep that in mind if that’s important to you that you double verify where you book. All the trouble aside we would definitely stay here again, just don’t count on the blow dryer in the room or the AC to work and room service may need to be requested multiple times.

SSharon AmandaVery nice, well priced hotel, close to the central train station. We only stayed in Ulm one night, but the hotel was great for our needs. Clean, comfortable, great bed/pillows and shower. Because of our travel, we arrived 30 minutes before the 3pm check-in time, and were not able to check-in early. I am not sure if this is standard practice, or the result of a busy weekend trying to get all the rooms ready. Just be aware, if you have an early arrival. We would stay here again if we came back to Ulm

UUtente ospiteMolto caotico, il personale sembrava non conoscere le procedure corrette tra di loro... nonostante una prenotazione di tre notti, mi è stato chiesto di lasciare la camera più volte. Ho ricevuto ripetute scuse, solo per poi essere nuovamente invitato ad andarmene.
A colazione, diversi membri del personale mi hanno chiesto il numero della mia camera quattro volte.
La pulizia del bagno era soddisfacente.
La prenotazione del garage è stata un disastro... la tessera di accesso ha funzionato... ma avrei dovuto pagare 25,00 € per un posto auto riservato che alla fine è stato occupato e, nonostante avessi la tessera di accesso, mi è stato detto di suonare il campanello per far aprire la sbarra.
Nel complesso, il soggiorno è stato insoddisfacente... per giunta, ho dovuto ascoltare diverse lamentele degli ospiti al bar la sera, il che ha confermato la mia esperienza negativa!

The reception staff was always friendly and cheerful. Everyone was ready to help with any question we had.
Breakfast was amazing. The selection was terrific. And every morning we were greeted by the pleasant and happy staff. One staff member told me she loves her job. Who doesn't want to stay in a hotel where the staff love working? Several days my mother who travelled with me was ill and the staff made it so easy for me to take breakfast to her in the room.
The room was terrific. We requested the accessible room and were not disappointed. Despite Ettlingen not being the most wheelchair friendly, Stadthotel Engel had every accessibility need addressed. The front entrance has no stairs. They have an elevator that stops at the breakfast room level. The bathroom in our room was wheelchair friendly with a raised toilet, fully accessible shower, and vanity that could accommodate a wheelchair underneath. We did not have a wheelchair but my mother has a walker which requires many of the same accommodations. The room has air conditioning for those who are concerned about that.
The location is amazing. From the hotel you are directly in the old city and can walk to many stores, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel entrance is located in an inside court area where there are tables that can be enjoyed during the nice weather.

Le camere erano ben attrezzate, i prodotti di cura potevano essere più. Le camere, anche se grande libro è molto piccolo. L'hotel completo era troppo forte raffreddato, l'aria condizionata nella stanza non poteva purtroppo solo raffreddare alla domanda, perché era davvero molto freddo era riscaldamento. Sala da pranzo e bar anche troppo freddo. Come detto, ho avuto con
più bella se si deve pagare così tanto per una notte. Colazione era ok .
