Первое впечатление было - жуть, очень маленькая комната, кровать/подушки не самые удобные, места катастрофически мало ,чемодан разместить негде, поднос с завтраком тоже некуда особо поставить, сам завтрак чисто итальянский (много хлеба, круассанов, джемов, йогурты и кофе), а хочется ведь яичницу и сосиску. Душ в ванной просто для гномов, не знаю, как там мылся мой муж, но я, маленькая девушка, еле там помещалась.
Также по утрам постоянный шум, т.к. ресепшн расположен прямо возле комнаты, все слышно.
Но!!! там такие потрясающие люди работают, очень добрые и приятные! и еще супер расположение рядом с площадью Навона.
Поэтому я просто не могу написать плохой отзыв, ведь при бронировании я знала, что это не роскошный отель, а слабая трешка.
В общем, хочу сказать спасибо девушке на ресепшн (по-моему, она там главная), она просто фантастическая!

La camera era molto piccola. Il personale gentilissimo. Non è possibile fare colazione o consumare pasti. A 100 metri circa verso la stazione, comunque, c'è un bar dove si può fare colazione in maniera soddisfacente. Sono disponibilissimi alla custodia dei bagagli prima dell'accoglienza e dopo il rilascio della camera. Vicinissima la navetta per l'aeroporto,. Vicini la stazione centrale e la metro.

Molto buono, il prezzo è buono in bassa stagione, ma senza guidare è scomodo, all'interno non c'è niente, quindi bisogna portarlo con sé, in realtà è consigliabile portare le proprie lenzuola perché non sarà troppo pulito , ma nel complesso va bene e mi sento molto sicuro. C'è una porta che blocca l'ingresso, molto sicura

It was a great stay here at Hotel Lodi. My partner and I are used to simple and modest places as we've been traveling across Europe so Hotel Lodi was everything we were looking for. The en suite was clean and came with good amenities like soap, body wash, and shampoo. And our room had a TV so we were able to relax and enjoy a show together every night. The Italian guy at the desk was super nice and funny. If you go there with a kind attitude, you'll surely receive the energy back. A few notes, I don't think there's an elevator there so this might not be great for people traveling with a ton of luggage. However my partner and I only had a large backpack each so it was good for us to make it up and down the stairs. Another fun thing to do get around town is the Lime Bikes all around the neighborhood. There were lots around Hotel Lodi it made the slightly inconvenient area of stay way more convenient.

This is not the place if you think you might need contact them for something. The wait time for them to respond was from 8 pm to one next day after my repeated calling from noon. Once answered they asked me to wait another two hours because the person who was supposed to man the office from 9-4 was on lunch break.

UUtente ospiteIl nostro hotel preferito quando siamo a Roma. L'o conosciamo da anni e sempre ci siamo trovati molto bene.Personale molto gentile, le stanze molto confortevoli, Letti grandi con materassi molto comodi, al ristorante si mangia bene,c'è anche il bar con tanta scelta di insalate, pizze e altro. Poi la piscina all' aperto è molto grande, pulita. C'è anche la palestra. E sempre bello tornare al ” Midas”!

UUtente ospiteFaccio parte di un gruppo che ha prenotato in questo hotel e Ho scelto questo hotel per la vicinanza alla stazione termini perché molto comodo per spostarci insieme a tutto il gruppo, il servizio del personale molto professionale, ma il punto dolente è che hotel è molto datato e ci stava un odore poco gradevole in tutto il corridoio e per sparire questo odore ci stava un deodorante altrettanto forte che faceva venire il mal di testa. Altro problema che nel bagno non ci sta finestra e per sedersi al water devi fare acrobazia ed è strettissimo.

UUtente ospiteÈ la seconda volta che scelgo di soggiornare in una delle loro strutture e l'esperienza è stata nuovamente positiva. Ho optato per il bungalow da 6 persone, apprezzando in particolare la cucina, ben fornita di stoviglie e utensili. L'unico appunto in quest'area riguarda la dotazione di prodotti e strumenti per la pulizia, che era carente. Il bungalow, pur mostrando i suoi anni, si presentava comunque ben pulito. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo si conferma eccellente. L'unico elemento critico è la distanza dal centro, un inconveniente gestibile grazie all'efficace servizio navetta.

La posizione è buona. Gli alloggi a Roma sono molto costosi. La stazione ferroviaria è a 10 minuti a piedi. È anche possibile raggiungere a piedi il Colosseo, il Pantheon e Piazza Venezia.

PPhillipsBenjaminWe stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options.
The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find.
Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna).
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

L'aria condizionata non funzionava correttamente.

MMichael_KOur stay at the Viminale View Hotel was an acceptable one - but we would unlikely return on a future visit to Rome.
Arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon, we were pleased to be allowed to check in ahead of the published time (14:00hrs). The service was friendly and efficient and we were quickly shown to our room - that being a ‘deluxe’ room at the end of a corridor. Room number 1 was to be our home for four nights.
The room was of a good size and well-equipped e.g. towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge (with optional mini-bar), a television and a bathroom - with an excellent free standing bath tub in the centre of the bedroom.
Perhaps my biggest gripe with the hotel was the disappointing view from the room. A ‘Viminale View’ it most certainly was not. Interestingly, room number 1 was the only room on the wrong side of the building. All others, including cheaper standard rooms, had the all-important Viminale view. In fact, not from anywhere in the hotel could we see the Viminale, since the reception area too was without any windows.
Our two windows looked out onto a gutter on one side and an adjacent building on the other.
We paid a little extra for breakfast, which was of a simple but acceptable standard. Given the size of the hotel with just 10 rooms, an extravagant buffet was not expected. More a continental selection, there was enough to keep us going until lunchtime. Cold meats, cheese, bread, pastries, yoghurts, toast etc, with scrambled egg and sausage available as hot options. Hot drinks were made on request.
As a smaller establishment, this accommodation appeared only ever to be staffed by one person at a time, which somewhat impacted service. Once seated for breakfast, we were provided with a hot drink and then left to it. There was no opportunity to request further drinks, which was a little disappointing. And on one occasion, we watched as a guest had to go in search of a member of staff in order to get a cup of coffee.
Perhaps in the mornings, especially with breakfast to provide and guests occasionally checking out, a second staff member would be beneficial.
House-keeping was of a good standard but returning on our last night, we were keen to enjoy a coffee, only to find that our supplies had not been replenished and our cups were still dirty on the side. As a hotel unstaffed after 17:00hrs, it wasn’t a simple case of calling for some coffee, rather just going without.
Whilst an enjoyable stay, the view from the room and the lack of hotel staff beyond 17:00hrs just didn’t work for us.

Hello, I’m a traveler from Korea who recently stayed at Starhotels during a family trip to Italy.
Our 4-day stay in Rome was so wonderful that I felt compelled to write this heartfelt review as soon as I returned home.
This trip was our very first family vacation to Europe — with my mother and my son — and we spent the first three days in Rome at Starhotels. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations: the excellent location, the spotless rooms, and most of all, the warm and thoughtful service from the staff made our stay incredibly comfortable. We were so satisfied that we decided to return to Starhotels for our final night in Italy. However, due to a mistake on my part, I accidentally booked the wrong date.
After completing a long 11-day journey through southern Italy, we returned to Rome exhausted — only to realize the booking was incorrect when we arrived at the hotel.
It was a stressful and overwhelming moment… until Mr. Tofael M., the manager, kindly stepped in to help us.
Before even fully understanding the issue, Mr. Tofael looked us — especially my son — in the eyes and simply said, “Don’t worry.I’ll find a solution for you.” Those few words brought such relief and comfort. In a foreign country, such a mistake can feel paralyzing, but his calm and genuine reassurance made a huge difference.
Even more touching was how Mr. Tofael and Ms. Paola S. at the front desk went out of their way to find a solution for us. Since the booking was made through an external site (not directly through the hotel), it was a complicated issue. Nevertheless, Mr. Tofael personally made multiple calls and followed up diligently until he was able to resolve the matter.
Thanks to his efforts, we were able to spend our last night in Italy exactly where we wanted — back at Starhotels, feeling safe and cared for.
As someone who has worked for years in global hotel chains in Korea and is still in the hospitality industry, I can honestly say that their professionalism and dedication truly stood out.
They are a model of what true hoteliers should be — and they absolutely deserve recognition and praise.
Without hesitation, I will choose this hotel again when I return to Rome. I also plan to recommend Starhotels, along with the outstanding service of Mr. Tofael and Ms. Paola, to as many people as possible through blogs, travel communities, and any platform I can.
