BBrad mannI stayed in room 3 on the ground floor and I thought the experience as a whole was alright, gets the job done if that’s all you need.
There were some things I thought were a bit strange however.
The shower was the main thing, it was stuck on full power which was crazy fast. It also didn’t stay in place because it was so powerful and kept turning into the wall. When I had pointed it facing out, it would point to the window (which was in the shower) and begin to fill up the window sill. Additionally, the sliding door had broken and it was replaced with a flimsy shower curtain which Barry managed to cover the gap.
The room was a little dark but other than that was fine. The bed was fine too.
Dinner is room service or you can have it in the bar area if you’d like. There isn’t a restaurant however and the bar area isn’t incredibly suitable for a meal with a family, fine on my own though. The menu consisted of pub food and each item was between £11-15 for the majority. There is a pizza and alcohol deal for £15 which is what I had, which was fine.
Breakfast was £11.75 I think and was a buffet in one of the service rooms and was pretty good.
Overall I think my experience was pretty poor but the room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and polite

Il cibo in hotel - il servizio era appassionante ho aspettato 1.5 ore per un vegano beef Wellington per poi essere portato un risotto caulifore che non ho ordinato e è stato dato il scusa che il cuoco non aveva abbastanza tempo / ci sarebbe voluto troppo tempo per fare un Vegan Wellington - anche se era un pasto di sabato, e sapevano che non mangio carne 4 ore prima del pasto e mi fu detto che all'inizio dovevo aspettare 10 minuti per il mio Wellington dopo aver salito nella caverna - così tutto quello che dovevo mangiare era a parte. La stanza era grande e l'hotel immaculato

UUtente ospiteBreakfast should have been served until 10 am. We got into the restaurant 9.15 and there was hardly anything left, One spoonful of scrambled egg which I had to gather from around the pan for my husband - none for me, no bacon, no sausage, no hash brown or tomato. They did have beans!! Having asked and waited, we got a bit of bacon and some sausages that were so hard we could hardly cut them!! Then , at 10am they asked us to leave the room because they had to get it ready for something else. Our bedroom was ok but there was a skylight in the roof and the sun came flooding in just after 4 am so I didn’t sleep. Waste of time having black out curtains at the window when you don’t cover the skylight. The teaspoons on the dressing table had not been washed. The shower was nice but the water came out all over the floor - our friends had the same in their room. All in all not a good experience and I wouldn’t stay there again. I did mention all of this to the reception guy but he just smiled at me. Not sure if he spoke English!

L'hotel stesso è situato in un luogo incredibile, offrendo un tranquillo ritorno dalla resistenza e dalla resistenza. La nostra camera era bellamente presentatapulita, comoda e ben attrezzata per un soggiorno rilassante. E' chiaro che l'attenzione ai dettagli è stata data priorità.
Uno dei punti di vista è stato il bagno. Le strutture erano eccellenti, e l'atmosfera era tranquilla, perfetta per la calma. La zona della piscina era senza spot, e i trattamenti erano di prima classe, lasciandoci sentire rinfrescati e rigiovaniti.
Il pranzo all'hotel è stato anche una fantastica esperienza. Il cibo è stato bellamente preparato, pieno di sapore, e servito con un sorriso. Evidentemente la squadra si è molto orgogliosa della qualità del servizio.
In generale, sono lieto di dire che Voco Lythe Hill Hotel & Spa si è rimborsato più che in me stesso. Lo consiglierei molto a chiunque cercasse una camminata rilassante con servizio di top-notch. Non posso aspettare di tornare!

UUtente ospiteMother / Daughter holiday with flight departing very early the following morning. Would willingly stay again at a Sofitel Hotel again & would highly recommend. Excellent soundproofing - no aircraft noise at all. We did not eat or use any of the facilities due to the fact that our overnight stay was less than 8 hours. Well appointed classic room & shower room. Staff were polite, professional and well groomed.

MMuraliRThe hotel is in a central place and very close to the bus station and not far from the Guildford Railway station (walking distance - 12 min or so). Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only difficulty was that we had our room on the first floor and at the further end and as there were no lifts (it is a heritage building so they cannot make any changes to the structure) we had to carry our luggage upto the first floor and navigate other steps to the room. There was no other option. We did have help when we arrived but had to carry the luggage by ourselves when we left. This is, though, a very small issue as the property itself was one of the better ones we stayed during our trip. The rooms were certainly larger room than some of the other hotel rooms I have stayed in London or Guildford.

VVeraLopesThe best option to spend the night before an early flight. The hotel entrance is literally inside the airport right next to the EasyJet check in and bag drop!
It's beautiful, clean, comfortable, bed was amazing. Great breakfast and very nice staff. There's also a nice lounge area and bar that is open till late.

LLauren JingWonderful place! We really loved our time here, even though it was only for a day! If we didn't have a flight to catch, we would have extended our stay. The house is in an excellent location, beautiful area, easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Very close to the airport, which made taking our flight the next day an easy and stress free process. The Lawn has an interesting history, and they provide a lovely folder in the room which explains it all, while also including any information your might need for your stay. The room itself is cosy, clean, and full of charming touches. Breakfast the next day was also a treat. Quasim and his wife are so friendly and made sure our stay was as nice as possible.
