Abbey Hotel Bath è stato così convenientemente situato con personale molto utile e amichevole.Abbiamo prenotato un giorno extra e sono stati così utile. La camera era bella, il letto confortevole e consiglierei di rimanere lì a chiunque. Si trova vicino all'Abbazia, al sito di Bath Roman, ai Buns di Sally Lunn e a molti bellissimi negozi e edifici. Un luogo quintessentile e meraviglioso per rimanere mentre visita il Bath!

The hotel lobby and breakfast were both very nice. However, we experienced some issues with our room. The double bed was quite small, and the room we were initially assigned did not match the photos shown when booking. When we raised our concerns, the staff did their best to accommodate us, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the process took quite a long time and involved multiple room changes. The final room we were assigned was much better and met our expectations. Had we been given that room from the beginning, our overall experience would have been significantly more positive. It seemed that some rooms have been renovated and are much newer, while others are older and less reflective of the images advertised online.

Friendly , helpful & efficient Front office staffs. Offered complimentary late check out until 2pm. Thankful for their kind service. Room is clean, modern and with adequate services and amenities. Bathroom is spacious and nice shower room. Bed is comfortable, free WiFi and inclusive buffet Breakfast.The buffer Breakfast spread is very good , serving hot English breakfast and continental breakfast. Within 20 minutes peaceful walk to the town centre. Very convenient. We are truly happy & satisfied with our stay in the Holiday Inn express Bath , highly recommended!

Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109. Ho soggiornato in centinaia di hotel. Ora sto cercando di evitare il tipo di Chrome & Glass gin palazzo. Uso hotel di bilancio per un soggiorno di una notte. Tuttavia, questo è stato un 5 giorni di pausa per celebrare il 60° anniversario dei miei partner. L'hotel era un edificio storico, ma ben mantenuto. Bellissima staff che ci hanno fatto sentire molto benvenuti. Un bellissimo cuoco per ordinare colazione e il pranzo serale è stato cucinato perfettamente e il nostro staff di attesa era migliore della maggior parte dei ristoranti. La stanza era perfetta, pulita quando ci era richiesto e la posizione è perfetta. Ci è un autobus per la città ogni 15 minuti che è a soli 3 fermate. Se si visita il bagno questo è il miglior hotel per soggiornare.

L'hotel è un edificio incredibile che deve prendere qualche manutenzione. Abbiamo prenotato una camera doppia per una notte e siamo arrivati a pranzo per un paio di giorni, con l'intenzione di visitare il bagno. Il controllo in corso (dopo le 3:00) è stato molto facile e abbiamo avuto una camera molto pulita con un sacco di asciugamani, 2 vestiti e scarpe per il bagno/bagno. La camera doppia aveva un letto di grandezza re che era molto comodo. La piscina dell'hotel era piena di persone e sembrava un po' stanca, ma come si aspettava. Non abbiamo avuto alcun trattamento spa o l'uso della palestra, ma entrambi sembravano ben tenuti e la palestra aveva buone attrezzature moderne. Non abbiamo mangiato nel ristorante, preferiremmo trovare un ristorante nel bagno stesso. Il colazione era un po' caotico, con diversi dipendenti dell'hotel che lavoravano in diversi posti senza un coordinamento apparente. L'attesa per un tavolo, poi il caffè era lungo e poi abbiamo dovuto aspettare di nuovo per ordinare il colazione. L'intero processo di colazione durò molto più di un'ora, che è povera, e era chiaro che non c'era alcun processo chiaro, perché alcune tavole avevano ricevuto il loro colazione cucinato prima di noi, anche se ci sono stati portati al nostro tavolo 30 minuti prima di loro. Il piccolo cameriere con la sua padella di carta era un po' inutile. Quando il colazione «completo inglese» è arrivato, è stata una piccola piastra di cibo ben cotto, ma non come descritto nel menu. In termini di dimensione della porzione è stato più come un colazione per bambini. Non abbiamo servito nemmeno un toast e abbiamo dovuto chiederlo a differenza di altre tavole che l'hanno ricevuto con il loro ordine di bevande che sembrava un po' strano. Il buffet continentale era un po' scarso, senza bocche o lenzuola, quindi abbiamo dovuto usare i nostri bicchieri di succo di frutta per l'iogurt e il frutto. Tutto potrebbe essere migliorato con un buffet per colazione sotto una piastra calda se non hanno abbastanza personale per servirlo.

Everything was amazing, we only have the following comment: we booked city view room, but we got upper ground floor room, with inner view, matted windows and windows could not be opened, and in the morning you could feel the breakfast smell. Overall the hotel is still amazing, clean, nice staff, good breakfast, amazing location and we would chose it again.

The Hotel itself is very dated in decor, but I actually enjoyed this and it felt quite nostalgic to me. If you're looking for cheap and cheerful and you're not overly fussy then this place will do you just fine. After all I wasn't here to spend all day in the room, but to go out and explore. There was coffee and tea, fresh towels, and I was left alone for the 2 nights I stayed which I appreciate. Some people enjoy the maid service, but personally I prefer not being bothered. From all the other reviews it mentioned a fee upon arrival as an insurance for damages, but I got asked for no extra fees, so I'm guessing this is based on the larger more valuable family type rooms maybe. If you are a solo traveler like myself then the location is brilliant, as it's right next to the main beach *****, a cool little local beach front cafe which is reasonably priced, and if you have the legs for it like me, a massive nature trek to explore full of beautiful forestry and greenery. The main shopping town and Italian gardens are only a short 15 minute walk away. If you are on a budget there's a wetherspoons just 5 minutes away which is very decent and has great sea views, staff were all lovely. Staff at the hotel were also very friendly if you approached or talked to them. Only negative I'd say is that you can't book in till 3pm, but there is plenty to keep you busy nearby whilst you wait. If you are fussy and expect the Ritz, this place ain't for you, but if you are there with a fair level head and you just want cheap lodgings, then it'll do you fine for a night or two. I'd definitely stay again for the cheap price of just over 30 quid a night. Thanks and I'll be back down the line 😎

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Comfortable Stay and Great Location I stayed at the Holiday Inn Taunton and had a very comfortable experience. The hotel is easy to access, just off the M5, which made it a convenient base for exploring Somerset or stopping over during a longer journey. The room was clean and quiet, with everything I needed — a comfy bed, a good shower, and a desk area. Wi-Fi worked well, and I appreciated the tea/coffee station. While the decor is slightly dated in some areas, everything was well-maintained. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional from check-in to check-out. The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold options, and the restaurant had a nice relaxed atmosphere in the evening too.

Abbiamo prenotato 2 notti per un weekend di relax. Basato su essere un hotel di spa. Abbiamo pianificato di rimanere all'hotel per tutto il weekend.  Quando siamo arrivati ci è stato detto che non c'era nessun ristorante o bar che possiamo usare come è usato solo per eventi.  Abbiamo cenato nel bagno, cibo era buono, servizio era terribile.  Poi siamo andati in camera quando potevamo controllare. Il puliziatore era ancora lì. Molto scusante, molto gentile e carino. La camera era assolutamente meravigliosa. Grande bagno e soggiorno.  Siamo andati fuori e abbiamo trovato un pub per il cibo. Quando siamo tornati a rilassarci nella stanza abbiamo trovato la festa era direttamente sotto di noi e in piena vibrazione. Molto alto e rumoroso e la zona di fumo era proprio fuori dalla finestra. Sono felice di dire che tutto è finito a mezzanotte.  Abbiamo fatto colazione al 9.30. Non molto a sinistra e il colazione pieno era freddo. Quando ci siamo chiesti, ci siamo appena detto ”bene è stato là da 7” aveva appena seduto sul lato in tasche d'argento per 2.5 ore, nessun riscaldamento o opzione per ricaldare. Non era comestibile.  Abbiamo lasciato il colazione che abbiamo pagato il secondo giorno.  Poi pensavamo di passare un po' di tempo nel bagno. Ha! Beh, la piscina è piccola, non dove rilassarsi solo un paio di sedie in plastica, non un bagno di tutto. Ha una sauna molto piccola e una stanza a vapore. Il jacuzzi non ha funzionato, è solo una piscina di acqua nuvolosa con poche bolle.  Non lo consiglio, sembra che sia stato e potrebbe essere un posto meraviglioso, ma è stato preso e perso il suo solo.  Devo aggiungere il personale di pulizia e la signora alla ricezione erano meravigliosi, benvenuti e amichevoli.
