Un altro soggiorno meraviglioso in questo hotel. Had an upgrade from the manager Johnny & also complementary breakfast given due to an issue with the guests in the room next to us on our last visit( Not a hotel issue) He is always so helpful & goes above & beyond to make sure you’re stay is a pleasant uno, non può davvero colpire il servizio clienti.
Hotel carino, situato in una posizione perfetta vicino a tutte le comodità.
A Wonderful Stay in Milton Keynes!
Our recent trip to Milton Keynes was absolutely wonderful! The city truly surprised us with its vibrant energy and excellent amenities.
The highlight of the trip was definitely the hotel's location. We were thrilled to be right in the heart of the action, with an abundance of restaurants and bars only a short walk away. This made evenings out effortless and enjoyable, offering so many great dining choices—from casual eats to more refined spots.
On the other end of the spectrum, we loved having such easy access to a great big park (likely Campbell Park or Willen Lake!). It provided the perfect escape for morning strolls and was a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the green spaces the city is famous for. It’s clear that Milton Keynes offers a perfect blend of urban convenience and natural beauty. Highly recommend this destination!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel! I would have loved to give it a higher score because our room was so spacious, clean, and had a lovely modern design that made it very comfortable. However, I did have to rate it a bit lower because we were surprised to find that, while the travel app suggested that the standard queen-size room would come with both a bathtub and a shower, it turns out that only the premium suites offer bathtubs. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful— it was a shame that they couldn't do anything about the app. They mentioned that if you're a member and book in advance, there might be some great upgrade options available. It’s just a disappointment that the photos and description on the app were misleading, as they made it look like all the queen-size rooms had bathtubs too!
I stay here quite often so I'm familiar with the hotel and how it works as well as the location. I paid a very reasonable price for a stay on my return from London ( far less than I would have paid had I stayed there).
I was happy with my experience as a whole despite two little issues with accessing a hot drink from the machine and my TV not working. These issues were however very quickly resolved by the person on the front desk.
We have stayed many times at the hotel. But sadly it seems to be going down hill a bit . Our room was good but the bathroom was not in good condition, the sink tap was old and not in good conditions and the shower control didn’t work to turn the temperature down ( not good as this could scold someone) . The reception had no one on it several times so you couldn’t talk to someone. Then breakfast in the morning was nice but there was only one person trying to do everything which wasn’t good . Tables left uncleared and people had to wait ages to get served. The fruit juice wasn’t kept cold like it used to be , and the waiter used his bare hands to replenish the beard instead of tongs or covered hand . It’s sad as this hotel is a great place but not being run well .

Molto buono
BBells on the roadOnly one person on reception so check in took 20 minutes . First room too hot, air conditioning not available and window opens onto M40. Second room on courtyard, so much better. However due to check in issues took 45 minutes to get new room. Breakfast good but orange juice tasted like grapefruit.
UUtente ospiteFrom the moment we arrived at Danesfield House, we were treated extremely well. All of the staff were very helpful and could not do enough for us, even carrying our luggage to our room.
Our room had a beautiful view over the river Thames and hotel gardens and the four poster bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and their were plenty of towels and toiletries.
I had booked a treatment in the Spa for my wife and all of the staff were amazing. The Spa itself was very nice, and although the jacuzzi was out of action, this did not spoil the experience at all.
Finally, our breakfast was wonderful. We were greeted and shown to our seats immediately. Our order was taken for our choice of breakfast by a lovely waitress and coffee and toast was brought to us by an absolutely wonderful waiter who had the biggest smile that never left his face the entire time we were in the restaurant. He was extremely polite and just made you smile with his infectious enthusiasm for the ”fabulous filter coffee” and the ”terrific toast” (his words, not mine) that he served us. I just wish I had his name to include with this review as he deserves a special mention.
Overall it was a fantastic experience and the right choice of hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday. We will definitely be coming back.

UUtente ospiteLovely stay on a Monday night at Crazy Bear Beaconsfield. Only English restaurant was open so marked down the amenities as didn't really use others aside from the restaurant, bar and room. There is a lovely looking pool. Service was good. Mixup with our steak order was quite easily resolved however ended up with a cut of steak I didn't want. Would recommend booking restaurant time before 7pm as between 5-6.45 pm you get 25% off your total bill including alcoholic drinks. Would recommend offering prosecco on the menu. As cheapest champagne was around £100 so on the pricey side in general to eat and drink.
UUtente ospiteI was quite happy on the first night of my stay as the AC was quite nice when we entered the room. I saw there was a tub and free wifi was included. However, when I came back to the room on the second and third nights the AC seemed to not blow out cold air. I had to leave the window open all night for both nights to get some cold air into the room. The single beds were also surprisingly uncomfortable for a hotel. I’ve had short stays in other hotels like travelodge and premier inn, where the beds felt quite comfortable and were often cheaper £/night. The staff were lovely, no issues there. If I was staying for longer I would have mentioned it to the staff.

UUtente ospiteThis hotel looks beautiful from outside with a lovely ground and impressive entrance, but however, I found the room & common area not so impressive they need to give it a face lift to deserve the room rate. Especially with a high bathtub it’s quite dangerous as it’s slippery when you step into it to have a shower, even with the rubber mat on it , luckily I brought along my rubber slipper, which I can use to have a shower to prevent from slipping . Our room included breakfast, buffet table selection of food were poor, and the quality of food was not great even with basic smoke salmon it looks stale & the cooked breakfast was ok not impressive. The front desk reception staff were not helpful with problem . But the manager at the front desk was very helpful when we checked out , after hearing our comments about the problem he took note said he’ll look into the problem & told us to contact him when decide to stay with them next time. I do appreciate his helpfulness & trying to make the best of the situation, Cliveden Hotel should treasure him as the hotel manager.
CCM LaiLa stanza è molto pulita e pulita.
