Trasporti: Se venite da Tokyo, ad esempio da Shinjuku, scendete all'ingresso Fujiyama Yamanakako (138), lato B. Tuttavia, questa fermata non è indicata sul sito web dell'autostrada, quindi ho acquistato un biglietto per la stazione di Asahigaoka. Il prezzo è lo stesso e l'autobus si fermerà a questa stazione (premendo il campanello), senza problemi. Chiamate l'hotel alla fermata e la navetta arriverà tra pochi minuti. La cena inizia alle 18:00, ricordatevi di arrivare puntuali~ Sorgente termale: Ci sono due sorgenti termali, una delle quali permette di immergersi ammirando il Monte Fuji, il che è molto confortevole. Tuttavia, un problema è che la sorgente termale non fornisce asciugamani, quindi assicuratevi di portare i vostri! Ma quando abbiamo fatto il check-in, nessuno ci ha ricordato che dovevamo portare gli asciugamani in camera per fare il bagno, e non c'era alcun promemoria in camera. (Ho visto però che altri ospiti portavano gli asciugamani, non so dove ho visto il messaggio, o me lo sono perso 🤔). In breve, questo è un buon hotel, molto adatto a viaggi lenti e vacanze di piacere, la prossima volta potrete rimanere qualche giorno in più 😊

L'hotel si trova non molto lontano dalla stazione di Kawaguchiko e molto vicino a un caffè halal (per i viaggiatori musulmani). È molto comodo. La nostra camera ha due finestre, dalla prima si vede il lago Kawaguchiko e dall'altra il monte Fuji. La camera è in stile giapponese, piuttosto vecchia, con TV, frigorifero e tatami piuttosto comodi. È comunque una camera molto vecchia. Ma è pulitissima. L'unico inconveniente è che il bagno non ha il bidet, a differenza della maggior parte degli hotel in Giappone. Abbiamo scelto una camera senza colazione, quindi non sapevamo come fosse il cibo lì. Kawaguchiko è molto affollata di turisti, non è una città tranquilla.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Mercure Yatsugatake as a family traveling with a baby. The hotel is surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of the mountains, which immediately creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere — perfect for families who want to slow down and breathe. The hotel is very family-friendly. Traveling with a baby can be stressful, but the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everyone was kind, patient, and attentive, which really made a difference for us as parents. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with enough space to comfortably stay with a baby. We especially appreciated the peaceful environment at night, which allowed our baby (and us!) to rest well. The facilities were also well suited for families. The common areas are easy to navigate with a stroller, and the overall layout of the hotel feels relaxed and not overwhelming. The natural surroundings add a special charm and make the stay feel refreshing and rejuvenating. Overall, Grand Mercure Yatsugatake is an excellent choice for families with babies who are looking for comfort, tranquility, and good service in a beautiful natural setting. We would definitely consider coming back and recommend it to other families traveling with young children.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Shimobe Hotel. I originally wanted to stay at a nearby temple in Mount Minobe but realized that it was mainly an experience made for foreigners. I think we were the only foreigners there for our 2-night stay. I personality want to avoid staying with foreigners and want more of the local experience. The service was great, they could check you in and out without too much of a language barrier. We added dinner during check-in without any problem, we realized that the town closed early at night and was concerned that we wouldn't find a great place to eat dinner. The buffet dinner was great and we got a complimentary sashimi plate and yuzu highball on our second day. The breakfast buffet was also very good with a mix of local and western dishes. The station is located right near the hotel so it makes it a perfect spot to make a quick Mount Minobe day trip.

Yanagiya is a nice little local onsen. They do not have too many rooms so you will not feel overcrowded. It is a nice place to spend for days to relax your body and mind. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They can speak limited English but in case you come across any issue with language, feel free to use translation app. If you are driving, the onsen is easy to find and there is a carpark in front of the Onsen with plenty of space. There are also 2 x EV charging but not sure if they are for onsen guess. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The air conditioner is featured with heater and cooler function, so you don't have to worry about weather during winter and summer. The hot spring is open for 24 hrs, except time when they swap between male and female access, usually it takes 30 minutes and they take this opportunity to clean up the facilities too. Food are generally fine and portion is reasonable. Staff are caring d considerate. We have two kids at age of 7 and 9 and they do not take spicy or raw food. When they noticed, they have offered to tailor made the breakfast for the kids so that they don't prepare food that kids do not eat.

Le strutture erano vecchie ma ben mantenute, anche se la finestra della mia camera non poteva essere chiusa senza forza. Nota che non ci sono sapone, condizionatore o corpo nelle camere degli ospiti, perché questo è un impianto di onsen - tutte le sapone e le strutture bagnate sono fornite nella zona di onsen. Diversi ristoranti sul sito offrono molte opzioni alimentari, che si sono dimostrate colpite dalla mancanza di opzioni a favore dei vegetariani intorno alla zona.

Warm and cozy place to recharge yourself after a visit in the Kawaguchiko area. All amenities and facilities are just perfectly clean and easily accessible, while they are keeping some of the Japanese customs which adds more elements in your stay. Host and staff were extremely friendly and attentive, just right by your side whenever you need them. Deffo recommend without reservation if you’re visiting Kawaguchiko soon.

I stayed one night at Fuji Marriott Hotel Lake Yamanaka and really enjoyed the beautiful view of Mount Fuji from my room. The breakfast was very nice with a good variety of food. However, one thing that disappointed me was that I couldn’t turn off the hot spring water in the room. The running water sound made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Since I was only staying for one night, I didn’t request a room change. Another area for improvement is that the staff could be more proactive in assisting guests with their baggage upon arrival. The hotel’s location is far away from the train station, but we drove there so it was fine. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a stunning view and great breakfast, but there’s some room for improvement in comfort and service attentiveness.

Questo è davvero il luogo perfetto per soggiornare a Kawaguchiko. Il servizio era eccezionale da parte di partenza a finitura, caldo, attento, e pensiero. La stanza era spaziosa e bellamente progettata, con una vista incantevole sul monte Fuji dalla stanza. Svegliarsi fino a Fuji al mattino non mi sentivo reale. Avendo un incubo privato in camera, l'esperienza è ancora più speciale nel bagno caldo mentre si trova di fronte al Monte Fuji è qualcosa che colpisce in modo diverso e difficile da dire. Il pranzo e il colazione erano ben presentati e deliziosi, rendendo ogni pasto una esperienza memorabile. Fufu Kawaguchiko ha consegnato un soggiorno inoltrabile, dove conforto, tranquillità e lusso sottostimato si sono riuniti perfettamente.

Adoro questo hotel, abbiamo anche provato il Glamping: è molto accogliente e confortevole. Personalmente preferisco la zona tenda rispetto alla zona villa, che è unica, calda e accogliente. L'hotel offre una vista sul Monte Fuji, decisamente migliore rispetto a quella offerta da alcuni dei luoghi più gettonati di Lawson, e non ci sono turisti a disturbarvi. Vorrei elogiare in modo particolare il servizio dell'hotel. Tutti sono stati molto cordiali e amichevoli. Il giovane nell'area delle tende ci ha guidati con entusiasmo e ci ha portato all'area delle attività. L'addetto alla reception ha risposto attentamente alle nostre domande, ci ha aiutato a prenotare un taxi, ha risposto alle e-mail molto rapidamente e ci ha aiutato a trovare un telefono cellulare che era stato lasciato nel taxi. Sono davvero grato e mi ha fatto sentire a casa. Tornerò sicuramente in questo hotel la prossima volta e non vedo l'ora di rivedervi!
