Breath taking view on the mt Fuji from the outdoor onsen. Very established hotel so very packed when both of us went during the weekend. Usage of onsen is public. So if packed not as nice. Other than that, good experience. Very huge hotel room. Just little old if you don’t mind. View from my room.

Due punti molto positivi: posizione e servizio del personale. La posizione è perfetta, basta uscire e ci si ritrova in riva al lago. Anche le fermate degli autobus per le linee rossa e verde, e il bus turistico sono proprio di fronte. L'hotel è molto vecchio. Bagni senza bidet, materassi sottili. Ma il personale è stato molto disponibile. La navetta dell'hotel è disponibile dalle 15:00 alle 18:00 per il prelievo dalla stazione, ma è necessario chiamarli. La navetta mattutina è disponibile per la stazione.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Mercure Yatsugatake as a family traveling with a baby. The hotel is surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of the mountains, which immediately creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere — perfect for families who want to slow down and breathe. The hotel is very family-friendly. Traveling with a baby can be stressful, but the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everyone was kind, patient, and attentive, which really made a difference for us as parents. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with enough space to comfortably stay with a baby. We especially appreciated the peaceful environment at night, which allowed our baby (and us!) to rest well. The facilities were also well suited for families. The common areas are easy to navigate with a stroller, and the overall layout of the hotel feels relaxed and not overwhelming. The natural surroundings add a special charm and make the stay feel refreshing and rejuvenating. Overall, Grand Mercure Yatsugatake is an excellent choice for families with babies who are looking for comfort, tranquility, and good service in a beautiful natural setting. We would definitely consider coming back and recommend it to other families traveling with young children.

For any Yuru Camp anime fans, if you also are interested in an Onsen experience this is the perfect place. The facilities and staff are amazing! I couldn't believe the size of my room, especially after coming from a business hotel in Tokyo. I thought Deluxe Twin was just the ”deluxe” version of a standard single twin size bed room instead of two twin beds but there are no complaints. Given it's more remote location I was expecting zero English but I was so surprised at how well some of the staff spoke English and had print outs for English speakers. I have to shout out two staff members, Nozomi and Joon Bae's english combined with my limited and grammatically atrocious Japanese they went above and beyond making me understand how everything worked as well as assisting me with my ventures outside of the onsen. They have two e-bikes available for rent which I rode to the next station on the minobu line so I could visit the school that was used in the anime as well as get a taxi to take me to Lake Shibere, from episodes 6 and 7 of season one. It was my first time in Japan, being the only foreigner at the hotel for the two full days, I only visited the baths once however the facilities are amazing and I plan on going back to use the Onsen more.

Yanagiya is a nice little local onsen. They do not have too many rooms so you will not feel overcrowded. It is a nice place to spend for days to relax your body and mind. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They can speak limited English but in case you come across any issue with language, feel free to use translation app. If you are driving, the onsen is easy to find and there is a carpark in front of the Onsen with plenty of space. There are also 2 x EV charging but not sure if they are for onsen guess. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The air conditioner is featured with heater and cooler function, so you don't have to worry about weather during winter and summer. The hot spring is open for 24 hrs, except time when they swap between male and female access, usually it takes 30 minutes and they take this opportunity to clean up the facilities too. Food are generally fine and portion is reasonable. Staff are caring d considerate. We have two kids at age of 7 and 9 and they do not take spicy or raw food. When they noticed, they have offered to tailor made the breakfast for the kids so that they don't prepare food that kids do not eat.

Il personale di servizio era efficiente, anche se la chiusura per scambiare le chiavi per le scarpe rallentava le cose. (Comprensibile, perché questo è anche un viaggio di giorno, quindi l'hotel deve assicurarsi che tutte le schede siano coperte prima di lasciare gli ospiti andare.) Le strutture erano vecchie ma ben mantenute, anche se la finestra della mia camera non poteva essere chiusa senza forza. Nota che non ci sono sapone, condizionatore o corpo nelle camere degli ospiti, perché questo è un impianto di onsen - tutte le sapone e le strutture bagnate sono fornite nella zona di onsen. Diversi ristoranti sul sito offrono molte opzioni alimentari, che si sono dimostrate colpite dalla mancanza di opzioni a favore dei vegetariani intorno alla zona.

Warm and cozy place to recharge yourself after a visit in the Kawaguchiko area. All amenities and facilities are just perfectly clean and easily accessible, while they are keeping some of the Japanese customs which adds more elements in your stay. Host and staff were extremely friendly and attentive, just right by your side whenever you need them. Deffo recommend without reservation if you’re visiting Kawaguchiko soon.

Una breve gita dal lago Yamanaka, abbiamo fatto un check-in per la notte principalmente perché volevamo esplorare la zona e provare i famosi noodles di Hotō della regione. Abbiamo scelto una tradizionale sala da futon giapponese per l’esperienza, il che significava mettere i nostri letti leggermente stupidi, un po’ di prova e di errore, e un sacco di risate quando ci siamo resi conto che non c’è “pronto” una volta che tutto è stato messo in ordine. Il tempo aveva un freddo, così il mento divenne l'accento. Passando in acqua calda mentre l'aria fredda si scontrava fuori, tutto rallentava in modo che non si rendesse conto di aver bisogno. Niente di stravagante, niente di troppo pianificato, solo i quattro di noi, che si sono inventati come andammo. Guardando indietro, non era l'hotel o anche il lago, che erano i piccoli momenti impollinati che facevano sentire la notte completa.

This is truly the perfect place to stay in Kawaguchiko. The service was exceptional from start to finish, warm, attentive, and thoughtful. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji right from the room. Waking up to Fuji in the morning felt unreal. Having a private in-room onsen made the experience even more special soaking in the hot spring while facing Mount Fuji is something that hits differently and is hard to put into words. Dinner and breakfast were both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, turning every meal into a memorable experience. Fufu Kawaguchiko delivered an unforgettable stay, where comfort, tranquility, and understated luxury came together perfectly.

Adoro questo hotel, abbiamo anche provato il Glamping: è molto accogliente e confortevole. Personalmente preferisco la zona tenda rispetto alla zona villa, che è unica, calda e accogliente. L'hotel offre una vista sul Monte Fuji, decisamente migliore rispetto a quella offerta da alcuni dei luoghi più gettonati di Lawson, e non ci sono turisti a disturbarvi. Vorrei elogiare in modo particolare il servizio dell'hotel. Tutti sono stati molto cordiali e amichevoli. Il giovane nell'area delle tende ci ha guidati con entusiasmo e ci ha portato all'area delle attività. L'addetto alla reception ha risposto attentamente alle nostre domande, ci ha aiutato a prenotare un taxi, ha risposto alle e-mail molto rapidamente e ci ha aiutato a trovare un telefono cellulare che era stato lasciato nel taxi. Sono davvero grato e mi ha fatto sentire a casa. Tornerò sicuramente in questo hotel la prossima volta e non vedo l'ora di rivedervi!
