"All in all we had a great stay, it’s a great resort and a slightly cheaper alternative to the other hotels on the islands around. The pizza and reef are amazing. Still, the resort is quite stretched, especially to go to the toilets from the tree houses is too far and all in all just not as well equipped (e.g. missing aircon) as other resorts. Its probably more suitable for younger travelers who also look for evening programms."

"Il mare di fronte all'hotel è il suo punto di forza. È bellissimo. In una giornata di sole, si vedono quattro o cinque colori. Ci sono molti pesci. Li si può vedere nell'acqua bassa. Non bisogna camminare troppo per vedere i coralli. L'hotel offre ottimi pasti (in stile occidentale). La colazione consiste in un piatto principale (da ordinare a piacere) + buffet di frutta, pane, latte e yogurt. Il pranzo è un piatto principale. La cena è composta da tre portate (a scelta tra diverse portate) + zuppa. L'acqua potabile è gratuita e self-service al tavolo da pranzo tutto il giorno. Fantastico! Il vantaggio di un piccolo hotel è che il servizio è particolarmente attento. Si percepisce la gentilezza di tutto il personale, calorosi come amici! Per quanto riguarda le dotazioni hardware, il condizionatore è Panasonic, nuovo, a raffreddamento rapido, e la pressione dell'acqua della vasca è molto alta e calda, il che è particolarmente importante per entrare e uscire dal mare. La qualità dei prodotti da bagno è ottima. In breve, ho trascorso una vacanza meravigliosa qui. Ero impegnato a entrare e uscire dal mare davanti alla porta ogni giorno. Spero di tornarci in futuro! "Barefoot Manta was amazing! We spent 5 nights and had the best time. The staff were incredible, especially the resident marine biologist Rob who was a mine of information and enthusiasm. There are 3 different beaches to snorkel from and the snorkelling was the best we have ever seen, it is a protected marine reserve and we participated in coral planting which was great. The Manta Ray trips happened on 3 of our 5 days, it is a bit of an uncontrolled bun fight with various resorts sending their boats to see the mantas but the Barefoot Manta crew were educated and respectful. The resort is beautiful and has a lovely vibe, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a double Bure on the sunset side, it was a permanent tent and it was all that we could have wished for, right on the beach. The meal plan is really expensive by our standards, I would have preferred an al a carte option as I have food restrictions and I found that eating salad and rice for almost every meal was boring and repetitive. The staff did try though, however $40 Fijian for salad and rice was a bit on the nose. Bring snacks! It would have been good if they could have made the tea/coffee available all day and maybe had something available for afternoon tea as it is 6 hrs between lunch and dinner. We do recommend this place. "

"Super schönes Resort. Liegt leider sehr weit im Norden und die Fähre benötigt 5 Stunden bis dort hin. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Es gibt jeden Tag kostenfreie Aktivitäten und SUP/Kanus können ausgeliehen werden. Der kostenpflichtige Ausflug zu den Höhlen kann ich sehr empfehlen. Wenige Solo-Traveler in diesem Resort, zu meiner Reisezeit. Das einzige Negative an diesem Resort ist, dass ab und an Mäuse in die Bungalows kommen. (Vorsichtig mit Essens aufbewahrung)"
