Mentre siamo arrivati senza prenotazione, siamo stati ben accolti alla reception. Abbiamo ricevuto 2 belle camere (parenti + adolescenti). L'hotel è idealmente situato nel centro della città, ma nonostante tutto tranquillo, la sera non c'è rumore. Siamo a due passi dal lago in un vecchio edificio rinnovato con un bel gusto. Il capo Hegglin parla un bel francese (anche il personale) e l'atmosfera è familiare, simpatica e calda. Abbiamo mangiato al ristorante in una bella sala con un menu livello ”gastro” dove la presentazione meravigliosa delle basi era al livello di eccellenza dei piatti serviti (filetti di vitelli a molla). La piastra di formaggio vale la pena di spostarsi, che il capo ha scelto tra i produttori, in Svizzera e all'estero. Il buffet del colazione è ipercompleto e il personale è molto attento. Veramente un indirizzo da consigliare senza riserve e dove ritorneremo volontariamente.

Stayed for a couple of nights on a business trip. Room was great, spacious and modern. Only downside is the reception is only manned until about 10.45-11.00 at night, so if you are arriving late you need to check in at the sister hotel around the corner. Bar was pricey but I think that’s just Switzerland! Breakfast was good, enough options, but kind of spread out over the dining area. The hotel offers large umbrellas to borrow at reception which was a bonus. It is well located, easy access to the train station and city.

Comfortable hotel, walking distance from Zug’s lake side. The staff at reception was welcoming and efficient and our room was ready despite our early arrival. The rooms are modern and nicely decorated. At breakfast we were welcomed by Ana, who was extremely kind and helpful and accommodated the needs of the 2 babies in our group (thanks!). The buffet had plenty of choice and hot drinks were quickly served upon request. The hotel has an indoor pool in an adjacent building and a garage with easy access to the reception and rooms. Will chose this hotel again in future visits to Zug.

I stayed in this hotel quite a bit a few years ago and always enjoyed my stays. So I was looking forward to staying again whilst in Zug on business. First impressions were excellent with a warm welcome and efficient check in. The hotel has obviously been refurbished since my previous stay and the room was very good. The furniture was modern and comfortable, and additions such as the Nespresso machine were a nice touch. The bathroom was clean and the shower excellent. The bed was comfy and I slept well. Breakfast selection in the morning was good with plenty of choice. I have no complaints or issues about this hotel and would happily stay here again. Ands I have no problem recommending it.
