Expected more from 5⭐ hotel, but oh well. It's so basic - spend 20 mins in queue just to check in. The staff didn't bother to explain about the parking, which we need to pay a flat rate of RM10/day - the staff somewhat giving a vibe that I shouldn't book from a third party and just directly book from their site instead, duh - don't offer it then. The lift can be crowded since it's a shared building. Asked for a room away from the elevator - but got a room next to it! Go figure. We can hear other guests walking and plumbing from our room, which is so inconvenient since we have a baby with us that kept awaken by the noise. But the hotel is clean although a tad smaller than other hotel I've stayed in JB, that I can give

This is my 6th stay in Amari Hotel. We did a 3 Days & 2 Nights Stay over here. We were well received by the hotel staff as per usual. The service and ambience did not failed us at all. But we find that the hotel room which we are staying is near to the lift but l find it a bit cramp especially the door passage way which leads to the room. The toilet was a bit smaller than what l have expected it to be. And the flushing system has a bit of issues at times. But for the overall ambience of the hotel reception was good as it was beautifully decorated with the Christmas festive mood and the experience was perfectly good and fine. Both my mum and myself like it so much which also makes us come back here once again for our JB StayCation on an often basis. We have enjoyed the breakfast for the 2 mornings too. We will consider to be back for our next stay once again very soon. Thank you for having us once again.

Room is big and generally cozy, staff service is good, overall great experience. Breakfast also quite ok. The only minor thing is that check in time is strictly at 3pm, we arrived at 2.30pm and need to wait till 3pm to get the room card. Reminder to guest who drove to Amari not to use TNG card when entering carpark, must get a parking ticket, pay 10RM for a day at reception and validate at L6 machine.

Very good location with many places nearby with good food and varieties. City Square Mall is directly opposite the hotel.

Near Johor Bahru custom checkpoint, easy access to hotel after pass through Shopping Malls.. Staffs are friendly..

Amenities are great and facilities like pool, gym and library are available and well maintained. Breakfast buffet serves different cuisine.

Checkin process was smooth and fast. I managed to get the adjoining rooms for my family, much to my delight. Hotel is very near to shopping mall and CIQ. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms big and clean. I will definitely stay at Amari Hotel again.

Great hotel with good location. Just next to City Square Mall and Komtar JBCC so lots of choices to shop and have our meals. Hai Di Lao is just below so we went there for dinner as prices were cheaper than Singapore Hai Di Lao but quality the same. Hotel room facilities were great and clean. Moring breakfast buffet was very good, both in terms of spread and quality of food. Generally, price was also reasonable so will definitely consider staying here again in the future

Had a last minute road trip, and there were limited options left. Location is right opposite komtar and city square, which is good. But due to proximity to ciq, the malls seem more ex than others, and a bit crowded. Room wise, sound proofing is bad, and mattress springs feels a bit worn. Turning of car park is quite tight.

Room was big and nearby City Square mall and CIQ. There is a Hai Di Lao hotpot nearby too.

We have been to Amari around 5 years ago. It is still as clean comfortable and exceptional in services. But but, 1 thing to note. They have a smoke detector install right in the middle of the room. And the smoke detector has a green LED light that blink periodically. If you sleep in full darkness, that led light is terrible. We had a bad sleep due to the light in the first night. The next morning, i called for help and they offer to tape the green light away using masking tape. It become much much better for us. Also to add in, maybe the hotel can look into sustainability. I need to open a new pack of toothbrush just to get the toothpaste. The toothpaste is pretty tiny for me. Shower gel and shampoo can also work toward huge bottle rather than tiny tube. Would be nice to have laundro in hotel. Other than this, this hotel is really good. Good service and buffet spread.

The request for early check in was not fulfiiled. Fromt desk did not call also when the room was ready. Restaurant staff was friendly. The food was good. Overall satisfied only
