I received outstanding service from the staff at the Premier Inn in Woking during my seven-week stay. Each evening, they went above and beyond, always checking in on me and recalling my drink preferences without fail. I particularly remember Girlson and Anya for there great service in the evenings.

After reading reviews I was very worried about my stay here. Arrived at 15:00 unloaded and checked in. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and up to Premier Inn standard. My only gripe was that small things need updating like USB ports beside the bed needed. Breakfast next day was great. Lots to choose from and the cooked breakfast was HOT. Something that has been lacking at other PI's that I have stayed at. Day two, different chef but the same quality and temp. Good Central location although the roadworks outside make it harder to navigate the town. Would definitely use again.

Excellent location, amazing staff, couldn't be friendlier. The food is also excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. What more do you need. I stayed here over a period of a month and it was consistently excellent. Would recommend to anyone visiting Woking. Girlson is the man.

I checked out on Sunday and a employee named Laiba was incredibly helpful, informative, and patient with my elderly mother. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my mum felt comfortable and understood. Her kindness and understanding made a real difference,

We generally find PI’s consistently good to very good. I rarely post ultra negative reviews of hotels but on this occasion I firstly can’t quite get the 4.0 rating and secondly in line with some recent reviews this place leaves much to be desired, this is based on experiences also of other family members staying in the hotel at the same time. Parking is an issue (not the fault of the hotel) caused by road closure. Check in process not great in all honesty. Hotel corridors look tired as do the rooms, clean but need a good refurb, room looked at best tatty. In all our cases the normal milk, tea bags, coffee, milk jug (eventually presented in a mug) all had to be requested in different quantities. Loo paper ranged from zero in one room to at best less than half of proper capacity. Didn’t seem to be any apology when issues highlighted. Breakfast itself was good although we gave up waiting to be shown a table, eventually sat down at a table, immediately asked in a brusque way our room number. This hotel falls well short of standard Premier Inn offering, would suggest company looks very closely at what I presume is a Franchise operation as it drags the PI brand in a downward direction.

We should have been informed there was still an ongoing issue with the hot water prior to arrival. Still blocked off by roadworks. No breakfast available. Like other reviews it is tired and dated. I would avoid. Not a good experience across all fronts.

I stayed here with my two daughters this week in a family room . This will be the last time I ever stay in this premier inn . Our first impressions were not great - First of all there is road works outside the hotel entrance cutting off the main entry way by car or foot to the hotel ( which we were not notified in advance ) it took us nearly 40 mins on foot trying to find our way into the hotel from the train station as it wasn’t clear how to get there . I stayed in a premier inn last week in Greenwich which had a similar issue but I was emailed twice before our stay warning us of the construction work and the road closure . Once we arrived 6:50pm it was cold and dark and we came up to reception to check in- the restaurant we noticed was disappointedly closed - no prior warning again. As we walked away my daughter mentioned it’s a shame it was closed as now we need to go out and get food ( the receptionist heard and said yes they have a water issue tonight so we have closed it ) . She said nothing else to us at this point & we went up to our room . Unfortunately this is prob one of the oldest runs down rooms we have ever stayed in - it had a really odd dirty smell & the walls were dirty / scuffed / and holes in places . Also it’s not an updated room so there was no plugs or usb near the beds only two sockets by the tv . After we had been for food my daughter got in the shower - she ran it for 15 mins No Hot Water . I went back to reception to ask why there is not hot water - he told me there is a problem with hot water but assumed it was just the restaurant because of the construction outside but a few guests like me had now been down to complain so he guessed it must be the whole hotel . He apologised but said it was out of his hands unfortunately. He said he was on a 4 hour window to have it fixed . I explained we had only checked in 1.5 hours before and the lady who checked us in - did not inform us that the hotel didn’t have hot water she made a remark as we walked away that the restaurant had no hot water . But it was her duty to have informed as at check in - as if she had I would have asked for a refund and check in at another hotel - it was unacceptable. Another family then arrived to complain about their room and only having one towel when they heard my complaint - they asked the employee how long the hotel has had no hot water for & he said since the night before . I was so shocked by this as he kept mentioning a 4 hour window to be have it fixed but he had then said the hotel has had no hot water since the day before - the hotel had over 24hrs to notify us all that there was no hot water & offered as an alternative hotel or a refund . He basically said there was nothing he could do . In the morning there was still no hot water so still no showers or even wash our hands in hot water - & now a hand printed sign was put in the lift to say the restaurant would be closed for breakfast and dinner . We had to then go out to get breakf

The hotel is now quite a walk from the car park due to a road closure and it’s quite confusing to know where to go if you don’t know the area. Despite booking two rooms at the same time two weeks in advance. We were placed on floors 3 and 8 and had to keep phoning to be asked to let in as only provided with one key card. When getting to our family room it was so tight for space that the three beds were pushed against each other with no space to move. Never experienced a family room this small before with Premier inn. We only had one towel in our bedroom for 4 people so had to go to Reception to ask for more. Whilst waiting to ask, another customer was complaining about the lack of hot water. We then enquired about it and was told by the manager that there was no hot water and hadn’t been since yesterday and that they had called someone out. He then said it was beyond his control which I acknowledged but enquired why we were not emailed before or even told at check in (which is surely his job) but he was quite rude in his reply saying again it was beyond his control. We therefore had no hot water and were unable to have a shower as it still wasn’t fixed in the morning. I noticed in the lift that a sign had been put up as we went to leave in the morning there was a sign saying the restaurant was closed which it had been since before we arrived. However again it said for unforeseen circumstances rather than lack of gas or hot water. This hotel fell well below the usual standards I have come to expect from a premier inn which is a hot shower, a bed with space to walk around to be able to get in it and courteous staff who listen (apart from one male member of staff who was very polite and helpful in getting towels for us).
