Grande posizione sulla piazza principale. Check-in si trova nel retro dell'edificio che era difficile trovare. Il nostro GPS non ci ha trovati in città così avere una mappa offline è stato utile. Bella stanza con tela unica, mobili e letto confortevole. Il bagno avrebbe potuto usare qualche altro gancio. La zona della piscina era un'oasi. Ci sono stati entrambi ristoranti. Il ristorante di ponte superiore ha una bella vista della chiesa. L'unico negativo era che iniziarono a demolire e riremorci le camere nella nostra zona dell'hotel nel mezzo del nostro soggiorno senza parlarne a noi o offrire di muoverci in anticipo. Il rumore e la navigazione delle matite nella sala non sono state una grande esperienza. In generale abbiamo avuto un buon soggiorno e consiglierei questo hotel.

Hotel San Roque We left Hotel San Roque after one night, although we were booked for 5 nights. Our experience at Hotel San Roque was absolutely AWEFUL! Upon arrival, we were initially impressed with the property grounds. The concierge was very nice and helpful. However, those are the only positives I can express about San Roque. The room we were given first did not have running water. The air conditioning was poor and the ceiling fan was extremely noisy. Obviously the more pressing issue was a lack of running water for showers, toilet flushing and hand washing. 30 mins after informing staff of the water issues, they told us we could “use the shower in another room”. We requested to change rooms altogether and we’re met with apprehension. They reluctantly allowed us to switch rooms but stated it would be an additional charge. The room was a couple square feet larger, no additional amenities. Unless, of course, you consider running water an amenity. That night, we listened to the pounding music from a nearby club until 3:00am. It was so loud it rattled the windows. The next morning, we informed them we would be checking out due to the lack of running water in the first room and the extreme noise all night. They denied our request for a refund. About 10 minutes later, the concierge knocked on our door to offer an “upgrade to the suite.” By that time we had already had a horrible experience and were told we would not be compensated for the inconvenience but would, in fact, have to pay more to have a room with running water and efficient appliances. It was too little, too late. Now, let’s talk about the room. The bed did not come with a blanket, only a sheet. There was a laminated paper with strange rules, including no eating in your room. The toilet did not flush well due to lack of water pressure. We’ve stayed in many places throughout Mexico - Jalisco, Nayarit, Quintana Roo, Yucatán, Guerrero - and this is the worst experience we’ve had in México. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. And always use a credit card for additional recourse, as Hotel San Roque will attempt to keep your money.

Abbiamo soggiornato solo per 1 notte, ma valeva la pena - la gestione dell'hotel ha aiutato a trovare un'auto per 2 giorni di noleggio, perché abbiamo trascorso 4 (!!!) ore in città di Valladolid cercando di trovare un'auto per noleggio senza alcun successo. Consigli per i viaggiatori futuri - si deve venire a Valladolid già con una macchina da noleggio. Per quanto riguarda l'hotel: la stanza era pulita, abbiamo una stanza tranquilla, il wi-fi funzionava bene, la posizione non è troppo lontano dalla stazione di autobus (15 min a piedi). La camera dispone di un ventilatore soffitto e di un a / C, letti sono confortevoli. Il personale non ha aiutato a portare le valigie al secondo piano, cosa che è stato scioccante - la bambina è stata costretta a trascinare una valigia per le scale al secondo piano davanti agli occhi del ragazzo, ma il giovane della ricezione non mostrava alcuna volontà di aiutarla, che è stata una grande sorpresa per entrambi. La piscina era molto inconfortabile da usare, era molto piccola - forse 3x3 metri e circondata da pareti alte - abbiamo deciso di non usarla. Le cronache sono di mattina intorno all'hotel.

We booked through Airbnb, which was very easy, and stayed here for three nights while exploring valladolid and the surrounding area. It was a great budget option and everything was exactly as advertised. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room as well as some plates, bowls, and cutlery. The shower had hot water. They came in every day to tidy (change the trash, etc— did not touch our personal items) and gave us fresh towels. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived late at night after a long flight delay and had no trouble checking in. The apartamentos are only a few blocks from the town square and the area felt very safe. There are a couple of off street parking spots in front of the building but we ended up just parking our rental nearby on the street and had no issues. Also, around the corner on C. 38 is MAY’s tacos which is open late and a great, cheap spot to grab delicious Mexican street food, we had a great time snacking there twice.
