Hotel in zona Wexford Hydro Park, Toronto

This hotel was very easy to book through Titanium elite services. They made the process very easy and gave us a nice upgrade. They were very helpful with accommodating with the suite that offers a small full kitchen including dishwasher, silverware, microwave, regular size fridge, kitchen sink, coffee maker Lots of living room space and tv in living-room and bedroom. Easy for parking. They have space outside for large F250 trucks since a truck won’t fit in their covered parking.

My wife and I recently spent three nights at the TownPlace Suites hotel in Markham, Ontario. We booked the room with our Bonvoy points, so I can’t comment on price. Markham is a suburb about 15 miles north of Toronto. We picked this location since it was near relatives we were visiting. It’s located on a fairly busy highway with various commercial businesses nearby. There is a Chinese restaurant (QJD Peking Duck), which we did not visit, on the first floor. The thirteen-story building actually holds two Marriott properties: Courtyard by Marriott on floors 2 - 8 and TownPlace on floors 9 - 14. The registration desk serves both hotels. The lobby has several areas for socializing. There also is a Bistro/Bar area. Conference rooms, a business center and a spa are off to the side. A fitness center and indoor pool are on the lower level. Wifi is free. Surprisingly, parking is not. Signs say that it costs $6 Canadian per day to park in the attached multi-level garage, but we apparently were not charged. Check-in was courteous and efficient. You need your keycard to access the elevator. TIP: There is no 13th floor; the elevator buttons go from 12 to 14! We were assigned room 915. TIP: the room was almost across the hall from the ice machine and one wall of the room directly abutted the elevator bank. While the noise was neglible, you might want to keep this in mind if you’re a very light sleeper. The room was clean and decorated in what I would call ikea style. It was like living in a studio apartment. A flat screen TV was on a two-drawer chest/dresser. A wall-mounted desk had overhead shelving, a vertical cupboard, desk chair and rollout table. The kitchen section had a sink, two-burner electric range top, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher (!) and fairly large refrigerator. There were multiple cabinets and drawers filled with practically every kitchen item you’d need: pots, pans, dishes, flatware, soap, etc. And if they’re still something you might need, chances are you can get it from the front desk. (See pic.) A full-size closet contained an iron/ironing board. No sign of a safe. The sitting area contained a loveseat, ottoman and floor lamp. The king-size bed had five pillows. The bed was a little soft, but comfortable. It was flanked by nightstands and wall-mounted lamps with electric outlets. 
The bathroom was average-sized. The vanity had lots of counter space and several drawers. And a hair dryer. The shower was quite large, taking up about a third of the room. There was wall-mounted hand soap and hair/body wash (in the shower) by ALICE & Co+ botanicals. Shower pressure and temperature were fine. TIP: Don’t be alarmed when you flush the toilet - the sound is comparable to that generated by an airplane commode. Breakfast was included with the room and was served on the 14th floor. Questo hotel si trova in una posizione fantastica, convenientemente vicina al trasporto pubblico. Le camere sono impeccabilmente pulite, assicurando un soggiorno confortevole. Tuttavia, si prega di notare che può diventare molto occupato a causa della sua popolarità.

L'hotel era davvero grande. L'intero hotel sembra essere stato recentemente ristrutturato e le camere sono grandi e pulite. Il personale dell'hotel è stato molto utile e sempre felice di aiutare! Il colazione incluso è lontano dalla maggior parte degli hotel per un colazione complimentare. La posizione è perfetta, meno di 10 minuti dalla metropolitana e vicino a una fermata stradale. L'hotel è quasi nel cuore del centro, quindi è facile venire e andare come vuoi durante il giorno. Raccomando questo posto e vorrei sicuramente tornare indietro!

Il controllo è stato rapido e ha portato due acque complementari, la struttura del lobby è stata bella e la stanza è stata molto spaziosa e ben attrezzata, soprattutto per la sua posizione nelle aree più occupate della città. Mi piaceva il modo in cui c'era uno specchio corporeo completo nella stanza e in molti altri luoghi dell'hotel. Ci sono un buon numero di ristoranti e opzioni di trasporto vicino, quindi è stato molto facile navigare come turista. Purtroppo, le porte/pareti erano isolate dal rumore, così ho continuato a sbagliare il suono delle porte/keys per le persone che cercavano di entrare nella mia stanza, che mi facevano sentire molto incomodo e paranoico. Ecco l'unica ragione per cui una stella ha tolto ogni categoria di questo rating.

All'hotel si trova solo per un evento vicino, l'hotel si addormenta solo per un po'di notte, e nessuna struttura ha funzionato.Questo hotel è il tipo più comune e offre colazione al mattino.Tutti gli hotel che offrono colazione in Nord America non sono hotel di alta qualità. La colazione è anche molto comune in Nord America. Il riscaldamento della stanza è un vecchio stile. Se dormite sul lato del freddo, il volume di vento sarà molto più freddo quando si inizia, e un altro letto più lontano sarà meglio dormire. Ma non puoi anche abbassare il clima freddo, altrimenti la stanza non sarà abbastanza fredda.Quando l'aria fredda inizia, il volume è molto piccolo.Fortunatamente, entrambi non siamo molto sensibili al rumore di fondo e non influenzano il sonno.La gente che teme il sonno non può. Perché la nostra stanza è al piano superiore, il corridoio caldo è molto caldo.Il corridoio è anche il caldo freddo vicino al letto, ovviamente l'hotel non ha un aereo centrale.Tutto bene, in generale.

Il nostro fine settimana è stato un bel fine settimana, è un luogo ideale, un traghetto all'aeroporto di pochi minuti. Il personale dell'hotel è così piacevole parlare con, e utile con ogni piccolo dettaglio (grazie per la raccomandazione del posto pizza - era perfetto!) È stato bello avere incluso il colazione, e hanno una generosa scelta da scegliere! Siamo stati incastrati la piscina non è ancora operativa, ma sapevamo che prima di andare, quindi ci aspettiamo di goderla un'altra volta. Rimaneremmo qui, e lo consigliereremmo a chiunque cercasse un hotel pulito e conveniente vicino all'aeroporto. La nostra stanza era di fronte all'aeroporto e i bambini erano più felici di guardare che poi la TV (grazie!) E vale la pena notare che eravamo vicino all'ascensore, ma non era una questione di rumore a tutti (come abbiamo vissuto altrove nel passato) (Nota laterale, siamo stati soddisfatti che la temperatura della stanza era coerente (e il sistema di raffreddamento/riscaldamento è tranquillo!) È fantastico tutto intorno!

Personale amichevole sul desk front, check-in smooth. Ci sono tutto quello che ti serve nella stanza pulita, anche se ho soggiornato nella stanza più piccola. Lavanderia è disponibile. La posizione è eccellente. Ci è un negozio di comodità 24-hour attraversa la strada principale. Il quartiere è bello. Si è davvero goduto del soggiorno. La prossima volta penserà al ritorno.
