Hotel in zona Central Baptist Church, Sydney

I usually do not post reviews, but I had to this time to share my experiences. I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023) Plus point -Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge. -Bed is comfortable, -Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong) Hotel staff, is a on and off experience. The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name) Now on to the exciting part... Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert. ( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation) We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it) Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening. I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it. Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did. By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use. I was wrong. Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it. We found out when we were back in evening. We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose. Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did. Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback. From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part) Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again? Unlikely.

Buona posizione, a soli 10 minuti a piedi può raggiungere la stazione centrale. Così facile andare all'aeroporto. L'hotel era dietro una strada occupata, quindi non molto rumore. E 'vicina alla stazione ferroviaria leggera della Cina Town e può camminare a George Street entro 10 minuti. L'hotel dispone di un ristorante con un sacco di buona nozze. Il caffè è abbondante. La stanza era pulita e temperata. Anche se ho ordinato un mantenimento limitato, l'hotel mi ha ancora dato un mantenimento di casa di 3 giorni!!! E' fuori dalla mia aspettativa, Buon lavoro.

Rimasi per una rapida, una notte di distanza. L'hotel è stato recentemente aggiornato a uno standard elegante e confortevole. Prenotamo una camera reale, pulita, tranquilla e aveva tutto ciò che era necessario per un breve soggiorno. Il letto era estremamente confortevole con lenzuola di alta qualità. La camera da bagno, pur compatto, è stata ristrutturata ad un livello elevato, la pressione del doccia è buona e le toilette fornite sono di buona qualità. Il personale del front desk è una persona così bella, che si è allontanato dal loro modo per assicurarsi che tutto fosse a posto, e ci ha raccontato delle riparazioni, e sono ovviamente orgogliosi della loro istituzione. Questo hotel è vicino al Teatro Capitolo e a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale. La fermata della Light Rail è a 1 minuto a piedi dalla porta anteriore. Ci rimarremo molto felici qui.

A great place to stay near Light Rail, Chinatown, Central, and shopping. Our room was excellent, and we found the reception staff always welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. It is an excellent hotel for location, for guests who may have difficulty walking up and down sloping streets, as it is in a comparably level area.

L'hotel è stato pulito con personale amichevole. Le camere erano spaziose con grandi serrature per ogni occupante e le luci di cottura e letto laterali in una posizione molto grande. Docce/toilette in ogni piano e non ho mai dovuto aspettare di usarle. Il piano inferiore è che si può sentire la musica dal loro club di fondazione anche al 6° piano fino a tardi nella notte. Non mi ha disturbato perché ero solo poche notti e sono riuscito a dormire abbastanza. La cucina è troppo piccola per la quantità di ospiti nell'ostello. Le manifestazioni sociali che l'ostello ha organizzato sono un buon modo per incontrare le persone come una sola donna viaggiatore.

The best part was when the fish tank maintenance man had a decent chat about the process of cleaning the fish tank that's under the floor in the foyer and taught our children about the fish. The breakfast buffet was a hit with everyone and we struggled to get the children out of the pool.

La posizione di Mercure è molto vicina alla Stazione Centrale, che è molto adatta per famiglie come noi con anziani e bambini. Ci ha suggerito di sottoscriverci come membro, per poter parcheggiare a un tasso di sconto di $45 al giorno (il primo sembra essere $49). Ci sono piscina e fitness sul quattordicesimo piano. Durante il nostro soggiorno, abbiamo chiamato la ricezione per i servizi. Il personale è venuto in camera per fornire servizi. Inoltre, forse abbiamo soggiornato durante il periodo di Natale, c'era un disegno. Il mio bambino era molto felice di vincere un'auto a distanza giocattolo, che ha aggiunto più gioia. Ci siamo divertiti con il nostro soggiorno. Il personale dell'hotel che abbiamo incontrato lì è molto bello e utile. Se andiamo a Sydney di nuovo, considereremo Mercure di nuovo! 🙂🙂

Questo è un bel hotel, molto pulite e nuove, camere intelligenti, molto bel personale. Letto è stato confortevole. Vista parziale del porto dalla mia camera al 18° piano - vedo sezioni di acqua tra edifici. La luce nel bagno è terribile se dovete mettere su qualche macchia, e non sono davvero un fan di docce senza porta, ma sembra che sia la tendenza e sono piccoli chibble.
