I stayed for 4 nights here, but I don’t get any bed making or cleaning the room, Only get new towel and change the bin bag, For Shampoo and Shower gel or tissue paper ,dish washer liquid, I need to ask from reservation desk by myself, i don’t know it’s normal here or the cleaning staff lady is very lazy or ignore it. I hear the siren sound all night, the soundproofing is poor. I suggest to use earplugs when you sleep, The good point of this hotel is location which is next to metro. And the reception staff is helpful.

La posizione di Mercure è molto vicina alla Stazione Centrale, che è molto adatta per famiglie come noi con anziani e bambini. L'hotel è stato pulito con personale amichevole. Le camere erano spaziose con grandi serrature per ogni occupante e le luci di cottura e letto laterali in una posizione molto grande. Docce/toilette in ogni piano e non ho mai dovuto aspettare di usarle. Il piano inferiore è che si può sentire la musica dal loro club di fondazione anche al 6° piano fino a tardi nella notte. Non mi ha disturbato perché ero solo poche notti e sono riuscito a dormire abbastanza. La cucina è troppo piccola per la quantità di ospiti nell'ostello. Le manifestazioni sociali che l'ostello ha organizzato sono un buon modo per incontrare le persone come una sola donna viaggiatore.

La stanza era spaziosa, una rara rarità nella città per quel prezzo, tranquilla in mezzo alla stagione di picco e vicino alla Cinatown, teatro e trasporto pubblico. I stayed at the hotel for 2.5 weeks during one of the busiest times in Sydney. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff exceptional. The manager on duty incredible. I had a few hiccups as any traveller would at any hotel but once mentioned by me to the staff they without hesitation went beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. It isn’t the most glamorous or biggest or even the most sophisticated place but it was perfect for a solo guy like me travelling in Australia for Mardi Gras and site seeing. Other friends of mine ran into numerous problems beyond my challenges at other big chain hotels but this little place kept me going and made me very happy. I’d return anytime. It’s location is perfect for site seeing and a overnight sleep or daytime nap. Thanks to all the staff there that were amazing. See ya again soon I hope!

Rimasto per i primi 4 notti mentre visitava l'Australia. Scegli l'hotel come si trova in una posizione decente ( 5 minuti a piedi da Circ Quay, più facile per Rocks, Darling, zona centrale per Hyde Park ecc), un costo ragionevole e il fatto che hanno consentito l'arrivo precoce nella tua camera prenotata - la disponibilità. Siamo arrivati alle 7:00 dopo un volo di 26 ore - e la nostra stanza (7° piano) era disponibile - ci permetteva di prendere qualche ora di pollo. Non ci siamo resi conto che ha trascurato la Piazza Australia, che è vivace e alto Mon - Fri.. Non un problema nella prima notte, perché siamo così stanchi. Il giorno dopo abbiamo chiesto se potessimo essere trasferiti, non un problema, siamo stati trasferiti in una stanza più tranquilla (quattordicesimo piano) e aggiornati a nessun costo aggiuntivo. The location of the hotel is very convenient. I love the warming welcome of hotel staffs. Even thought the hotel is not new, but the cleanliness level was good. I have trouble sleeping and the bed was clean. There are constructions nearby, but there was no disturbance.

It was quite expensive for the service. The staff were not very welcoming but pleasant enough. The highlights are you are camping on the harbor and the view is very pretty. At sunset the very large bats come out which is quite cool to see but they are very loud with each other. Here is somethings you should know. Both eateries close at 430 pm so plan accordingly for dinner. If you get the package that includes electricity it’s only on from 6pm-6am. The waterway is very active until dark then the row teams start at 0500 it might have been earlier but their coaches are very loud and aggressive. What a way to wake up. It was nice just manage your expectations.

Nightcap at Chester Hill Hotel demonstrates excellent reviews from numerous hotel guests. Upon our visit to the pub and entertainment floor at the ground level, the room's interior design was relatively unique and posh. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and well-trained, and they informed us accordingly about the covid restrictions. We want to give special thanks for an excellent demonstration of Ms. Yasmine's Hospitality. Thank you to Ms. Yasmin, who has been helpful and guided us with direction and amenities and gave us a warm welcome, and guaranteed our expectations and concern had been met. Her extraordinary and multinational people skills must be highlighted and recognized -it was a wonderful visit. For all travelers, we are recommended the Night Cap at Chester Hill hotel. Once again, genuinely appreciate the hotel team members, especially Ms. Yasmin. Keep up the good work, I will see you again next time.

UUtente ospiteI had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). Rreturn visitorSoggiorno in questo hotel ogni volta che devo visitare Sydney. È vicino ai trasporti, un modo semplice ed economico per visitare il CBD. Avere una reception aperta 24 ore su 24 è utile poiché spesso arrivo dopo il lavoro e può essere molto tardi/presto. Anche la colazione è un vantaggio (una colazione calda completa) è migliorata di recente, si sono verificati problemi post COVID ma ora è tornato all'eccellente standard precedente. Le camere sono pulite e abbastanza grandi. L'unico inconveniente è il parcheggio a pagamento, ma di solito riusciamo a trovare parcheggio in strada non troppo lontano.

UUtente ospite4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

3.L'architettura ha caratteristiche molto diverse, la sua esterna è piena di sentimenti anticipi, e la struttura principale rivelata all'interno.E'molto speciale rispetto all'hotel a cinque stelle modernizzato.
4.Le strutture sono generalmente dotate di attrezzature, che possono essere troppo lunghe per gli anni.Se vivete a 13 livelli, ci sono elettricità nascosta, più velocemente al piano di sopra e al piano di sotto.

UUtente ospiteUn hotel così meraviglioso con il personale più amichevole. Christine e Hanni ( scusate se i nomi si sbagliano) erano così carini e amichevole. Ci hanno sempre salutati quando siamo entrati o lasciati. La posizione è sorprendente e così centrale a tutto. Questo sarà il mio hotel per restare a partire da ora quando visiteremo Sydney. Il personale è il miglior personale dell'hotel che abbia incontrato 💕

I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023)
Plus point
-Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge.
-Bed is comfortable,
-Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong)
Hotel staff, is a on and off experience.
The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name)
Now on to the exciting part...
Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert.
( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation)
We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it)
Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed
Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening.
I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it.
Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did.
By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use.
I was wrong.
Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it.
We found out when we were back in evening.
We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose.
Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did.
Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback.
From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part)
Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again?

UUtente ospiteA great place to stay near Light Rail, Chinatown, Central, and shopping. Our room was excellent, and we found the reception staff always welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. It is an excellent hotel for location, for guests who may have difficulty walking up and down sloping streets, as it is in a comparably level area.
