Hotel a Merida con piscina

Gorgeous boutique hotel with staff that goes above and beyond. The heir of the estate actually greets guests and ensures they have a pleasant stay. We only got to stay for one night, but they upgraded our room and allowed us to enjoy the pool as we arrived early and they needed time to get the room ready. It is worth the price.

Rimasi a Residence Inn Merida per un mese nel gennaio 2024. Mi piaceva la posizione e i servizi. È molto vicino al Galleria Mall, Costco e un grande negozio di prodotti alimentari. Puoi prendere l'autobus R72 a Central Merida che è molto conveniente se non hai una macchina o non vuoi guidare.La stanza è pulita e dotata di cucina completa. Il colazione è incluso. Anche il personale del desk front sono utili. Ci hanno aiutato a organizzare due viaggi di giorno privati ai siti e ai cenoti di Maya. L'unica cosa che consiglio è migliorare la qualità e aggiungere più scelte al colazione. Non molte varie colazione. Il frigorifero è un po' rumoroso alla notte.

We stayed here for two nights. Overall, the property itself is nice, but unfortunately our experience with billing and included services was disappointing. At check-in, the amount I was charged at reception was 300 pesos higher than what was stated in my official booking confirmation. I was told it was due to a different exchange rate, but the booking document clearly listed the price in Mexican pesos, so there shouldn’t have been any exchange difference. The next morning at breakfast, the waitress informed us that breakfast was not included in our stay, even though it was clearly included in our booking. I had to return to reception to sort it out. The same situation happened again with the two pizzas and soft drinks that were included in our package. When we called to order them, we were told they were not included. Once again, I had to go back to reception to clarify and prove what we had paid for. It felt like I had to repeatedly go to reception to justify and confirm services that were already included in our reservation. That’s not the kind of experience you expect when booking a hotel stay. Clear communication between reception and restaurant staff would greatly improve the guest experience.

We really enjoyed our stay — it was a lovely place to rest and unwind, and we loved the aesthetic and overall vibe. However, the location felt a bit sketchy at times, which was a drawback for us. It’s a great spot if you’re looking to relax for a day or two, but maybe not the best choice for exploring or backpacking.

Horrible service! They first gave us to a room which was fine upon entering but then we saw people’s clothes and shoes. We went back to reception. She said that her colleague made mistake and gave our room away to someone else without putting in the system. She gave us another room which was smelly like hell! I asked her to change or refund. She said its the only room left and she knows its smelly and she was sorry but she couldn’t do anything. She could only put us to another room the next day. She also refused to compensate. It was midnight. We had no local sim card so had no choice but to stay. At night there was lots of noise from boiler/machine so we couldn’t sleep. It ruined our holiday. They changed us to a different room next day but refused to compensate. We had to suffer at our own cost! The location is god and the room after changed was fine. But they made us suffer for their mistake yet refused to compensate! Such a shame for a hotel to behave like this! So if you don’t want surprise or ruin your holiday, try to avoid this hotel!

The room was lovely and big. Mirasol and Elizabeth were very kind and professional. Mirasol helped me with my bags and arranged a switch of my room when the hot water was not working. I was told it was working again in that room the next day. Great location. Make sure you request a room towards the back as I understand the rooms at the front can be noisy at night. Would recommend

Posizione perfetta. Vicino alla piazza principale dove la maggior parte delle agenzie stanno raccogliendo la mattina per Chichen Itza, Los Colorado e altre escursioni. C'è un OXXO proprio in strada. Tutto è disponibile a piedi. La stanza era molto pulita e pulita ogni giorno. Una grande pressione idrica nel doccia e nel bagno. L'unico punto di svolta, se questo ti importa, è che puoi sentire tutto dalla strada, ma sta calmo intorno all'11PM. Come la parte più grande, il personale è stato fantastico e utile! Certamente rimborserò.

L'hotel in sé è splendido e ricco di carattere, con camere spaziose che garantiscono un soggiorno confortevole. The pool is nice and the hotel is located a few blocks away from the main attractions in downtown. The best part of this experience was the hotel staff. They were extra helpful and kind. Always ready to help in whatever you need. The only complaint I have is the cleanliness in the room. There was dust in some parts of the room and the sheets weren't very clean. They didn't change them. Also, the pillows aren't comfortable. But the rest of the hotel is not bad at all for the price. I slept well, the ac works well. I would stay there again.
