Hotel con colazione a Merida

Overall is impressive. Friendly and helpful staffs. I love the ice machine so much, especially, when you are in a super hot day. There are a lot of parking spaces. There is a construction during our stay but that was not a problem at all.

We stayed here for two nights. Overall, the property itself is nice, but unfortunately our experience with billing and included services was disappointing. At check-in, the amount I was charged at reception was 300 pesos higher than what was stated in my official booking confirmation. I was told it was due to a different exchange rate, but the booking document clearly listed the price in Mexican pesos, so there shouldn’t have been any exchange difference. The next morning at breakfast, the waitress informed us that breakfast was not included in our stay, even though it was clearly included in our booking. I had to return to reception to sort it out. The same situation happened again with the two pizzas and soft drinks that were included in our package. When we called to order them, we were told they were not included. Once again, I had to go back to reception to clarify and prove what we had paid for. It felt like I had to repeatedly go to reception to justify and confirm services that were already included in our reservation. That’s not the kind of experience you expect when booking a hotel stay. Clear communication between reception and restaurant staff would greatly improve the guest experience.

The staff and the hotel were wonderful! I was travelling as a solo female and I felt very safe and well taken care of. The location is perfect, it’s next to the avenue of all the best restaurants and a short walk to the historic center. The air con in the room was an absolute blessing (Merida is hotttt!), the room felt really luxurious and the pool was a welcome necessity in the heat. I’d happily recommend Casa Tavera to everyone and anyone.

La posizione è estremamente conveniente, vicino al Parco Santa Lucía. Tutto nel centro della città è a pochi passi, quindi non abbiamo mai bisogno di trasporto. L'hotel è ben decorato e accogliente, offre un tranquillo ritorno nel cuore della città. L'unico punto di svolta è stato il Wi-Fi piuttosto lento.

Mi è piaciuto tutto la verità. E 'un hotel molto completo e con un prezzo molto competitivo. La colazione mi è piaciuta molto per la varietà per il prezzo che avevo. Molto consigliabile!

Horrible service! They first gave us to a room which was fine upon entering but then we saw people’s clothes and shoes. We went back to reception. She said that her colleague made mistake and gave our room away to someone else without putting in the system. She gave us another room which was smelly like hell! I asked her to change or refund. She said its the only room left and she knows its smelly and she was sorry but she couldn’t do anything. She could only put us to another room the next day. She also refused to compensate. It was midnight. We had no local sim card so had no choice but to stay. At night there was lots of noise from boiler/machine so we couldn’t sleep. It ruined our holiday. They changed us to a different room next day but refused to compensate. We had to suffer at our own cost! The location is god and the room after changed was fine. But they made us suffer for their mistake yet refused to compensate! Such a shame for a hotel to behave like this! So if you don’t want surprise or ruin your holiday, try to avoid this hotel!

Il servizio è stato grande siamo arrivati quasi alle 8:00. Sentite che non ci siamo fermati all'indirizzo elencato, ma ci sono 3 proprietà 2 minuti a piedi l'uno dall'altro. Siamo arrivati all'indirizzo e c'è stato un segno con un numero da chiamare o contattare su WhatsApp. La nostra camera era piccola ma pulita. La piscina in casa era la più grande, ma ci erano foglie all'interno che sembravano insostenibili, ma non grosse... abbastanza pulite. C'era una piccola “cucina” con frigorifero e microonde e caffè che sembrava non essere stata usata da molto tempo prima di arrivare alla piscina... c'erano 2 set di sedie nella piscina. Ora, nel palazzo principale, il complimentare colazione continentale è frutta, yogurt, granola e caffè. Il buffet opzionale è 190 pesos e ben vale molte opzioni e deliziose. Il principale polo di costruzione era molto carino e ci piaceva il complimentare “bagno a vapore”, che è una stanza a vapore con testa da doccia... bisogna farli sapere 10 minuti prima di riscaldarlo. Hanno anche aiutato a organizzare il nostro viaggio per le noci che era più economico di quello che abbiamo visto altrove. Noi comunicavamo attraverso WhatsApp senza lamentele che rimarrei qui di nuovo....Abbiamo lottato con acqua calda spesso era lukewarm ma apparentemente è una cosa in questo settore. È abbastanza vicino alla zona popolare chiamata “centro” circa 25 minuti a piedi e 10 minuti al consolato americano

What a great little capsul hostel. It’s a little way from the main areas in Merida, but only a 10-15 min walk, so fine overall. The place it spotlessly clean. You get towel and bedding. The doors in the capsule lock which is great for a sense of security and they are very private. The aircon can be a bit aggressive so ask for a blanket which they have. I don’t have the waffles in the end, but I smashed the free coffee and tea ! Staff were soo very welcoming and kind to me. I would highly recommend this accommodation either for a short or long stay. Get it booked !

L'hotel in sé è splendido e ricco di carattere, con camere spaziose che garantiscono un soggiorno confortevole. Il fascino storico e l'atmosfera sono senza dubbio i punti di forza, e nel complesso la struttura ha un grande potenziale. Tuttavia, un problema che andrebbe affrontato è l'elevato numero di zanzare portatrici di dengue, soprattutto nella zona della piscina.

Il personale ha avuto un grande aiuto nel soddisfare le nostre richieste quando abbiamo chiesto di cambiare le camere e più asciugamani. La posizione è molto occupata: davanti alla stazione ADO si può saltare direttamente in autobus, ma il quartiere è ovviamente quello che si trova intorno a una stazione. Molto vicino al mercato, è necessario camminare 20’ verso la piazza centrale per trovare la bella parte di merida. La pulizia era pulita, ma le strutture devono essere riviste: nessun specchio nella stanza, molto piccolo immerso, la finestra nel bagno non poteva essere chiusa e non c’era un asciugacapelli.
