Hotel a Chennai con piscina

In generale, ho avuto un buon soggiorno, come di solito faccio in questo hotel. Le camere sono sempre pulite, comode e molto ben mantenute. La maggior parte del personale era caldo, professionale, e andò fuori dal loro modo per rendere il mio soggiorno piacevole. Un grido speciale a Vijay, che si accinge sempre a fare in modo che tutto vada bene. Ha sempre grandi raccomandazioni sui luoghi da visitare e rende davvero gli ospiti si sentono benvenuti. Questa volta c'erano alcune questioni che mi hanno deluso un po' il mio soggiorno. Le nostre carte chiave della stanza hanno smesso di funzionare poche volte durante il soggiorno. Il personale risolveva la questione rapidamente ogni volta, ma era ancora sconveniente tornare al divano dopo un lungo giorno di giornata. Il problema più grande che abbiamo avuto è stato il servizio in camera, quando ho ordinato il tè e ho trovato un volo in esso; mentre il personale ha finalmente rinunciato alle spese per l’intero pasto, il recupero del servizio avrebbe potuto essere gestito molto meglio. Il giorno dopo, ho sviluppato avvelenamento alimentare e ero violentamente malato per la settimana prossima. Anche se non posso dire per certo che fosse collegato, il tempo dopo l'incidente aereo mi ha lasciato un po' preoccupato per le norme di igiene alimentare. Spero che questi siano stati incidenti isolati, poiché ho avuto in genere un soggiorno molto positivo e ancora considererei di tornare la prossima volta che sono in India.

The location is good, the amenities, welcoming check in, the bell boy service, room service are all good, it did not impose at all. Breakfast was good too. The pros is that it's a really good hotel to stay in. The cons, I didn't catch any. The room facilities seem new and modern with a vintage aesthetic, it didn't hit me that this might be an old hotel till I went to the pool. The concierge that manages your rides and food deliveries are great too

Where do I begin? Travelling with a toddler is no easy task, and the team at Taj Connemara made it worthwhile, smooth, and exciting. It all began with Ms Jasmine who religiously followed up with all our requests and requirements for childproofing the Heritage Room we stayed. From additional mineral water bottles, bumpers on furniture, soft toys for bath, and an excellent baby cot, Ms Jasmine coordinated with her ground team and got everything ready before we checked in. The icing on the cake was the remarkable welcome gift for our daughter consisting of excellent baby skincare products from an established brand.  The stay itself was fantastic with a cosy room, abundance of toiletries, and exceptional breakfast. Shoutout to Mr Baskaran for attending to all our breakfast requests for our daughter. The baby dosa was a hit!  Located in a prime spot in Chennai next to Spencer Plaza and the newer EA Mall, Taj Connemara is strategic. Travel to major shopping centres and traditional clothing stores was made easy.  Last but not least, the hospitality and polite service offered by the staff of Taj Connemara was nothing short of amazing. They made our short trip to Chennai a memorable one and we look forward to coming again very soon!  Kudos to everyone at Taj Connemara for ensuring my family and I have a great time at your hotel.  Regards,  Linges

The hotel is good, and the service was very nice. There was a wide spread of options in the buffet. The initial room we were given had a damp smell, but as soon as I reported it, the staff promptly swapped it for a better one. Overall, it was a good experience.

Un soggiorno inoltrabile con una cucina e un divertimento al tetto, Novotel su Chamiers Rd è un must see. • 8 min a piedi a Nandanam Metro 🚉 • Koox Japanese Rooftop Bar 🍸 • Restaurant Buffet di scambio alimentare • 10min di guida al quartiere shopping di T-Nagar Rimase per 10 notti durante il fine settimana della giornata dell'indipendenza in agosto, e fu molto impressionato dall'ospitalità e dal servizio di ogni membro del personale, dal fronte della casa al servizio della stanza, che non esitava a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Il bar Koox Rooftop situato sulla terrazza è una prima esperienza di cena per qualsiasi appassionati di cucina giapponese o thailandese, le vibes sera ci hanno fatto tornare per più. Una menzione speciale al ristorante Buffet del Food Exchange sul primo piano, Chef de Parte Amit e Ristorante Manager Nisarg andavano sopra e oltre per fare i cure per ogni richiesta di colazione, pranzo e cena. Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, room with excellent service in which we had dinner. Food was good, and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. The room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Returning to this location after eight years, I was hoping for the same 5star experience I once enjoyed. Unfortunately, it’s not quite what it used to be, and the property is beginning to show its age. On a positive note, the staff were warm and courteous throughout—from the reception to the restaurant team. Their professionalism and friendliness was a highlight of the stay. The restaurant manager Nazim was helpful. However, the room was disappointing. Upon entering, there was a strong musty odor. When I mentioned this to the front desk, I was told all the rooms have this smell and that it would dissipate in about 10 minutes—but unfortunately, it lingered. It seems guests may simply become accustomed to it over time. Not me.. lol. The Colony restaurant offered a decent breakfast, though dinner not that much. It felt overcrowded and cramped, and the buffet menu was not the greatest, with food quality was just average. The key strengths of this location remain its convenient setting, friendly staff, and ample parking. With some updates and improvements, it could once again live up to its former reputation.

The room is a total disappointment. Check in on 3-June-2026 for room 2066 (not to sure), change to 1004 and on 5th night, change again to 1020 due to beeping noise as the door is unable to close properly. My colleagues, Rasal PM and Muhamed Ali (2064 to 2020) either have only hot water and disappointing room.

I would definitely return here. Overall, very good value for money.   The breakfast daily and the staff were truly exceptional.  The room was good, everything worked and in-room dining that is 24/7, was excellent.  We arrived at 2am and the food, at that time, for famished travellers was truly appreciated. Thank you Holiday Inn.  You have excellent staff and hope you are valuing them.  Staff farewelled us on our last day!!   I did not give five stars for cleanliness as the toilet seats could/ should be cleaned better.

The hotel is an excellent one. Only downside we found is that the swimming pool was a tad small. We were well taken care of. Look forward to staying there again.
