The room was clean and very spacious. Check-in was quick and efficient, though the staff member at reception didn’t greet me or say a word—just took my passport, which came across as quite rude. Overall, the staff didn’t seem particularly friendly or welcoming at first. However, this changed on my last day thanks to Della. She was absolutely fantastic—she helped me book a taxi and even walked me outside to make sure I found it. Her kindness and professionalism really turned my experience around. The hotel’s location is excellent—everything you might need is right nearby. I was expecting more from the “city view,” though. It wasn’t quite what I had hoped for.

Shangri-La Hotel Shenzhen in Nanshan is an excellent choice for comfort and luxury. Its Horizons Lounge is a standout, offering delicious international cuisine and panoramic city views—perfect for relaxing or socializing. 😍😍😍 We do consistently praise the “yummy” food, from breakfast spreads to evening cocktails. 😋 Kelly and the other staff at Lounge are highlights, delivering warm, attentive service that elevates the experience and o us and make it memorable~! Rooms are elegantly designed with plush bedding and modern amenities, ensuring a restful stay. With its blend of culinary excellence, serene ambiance, and stellar hospitality, this Shangri-La promises a memorable stay in Shenzhen. Highly recommended!

La reception dell'hotel è molto accogliente e il servizio è attento. C'è un piccolo frigorifero in camera. Coca-Cola, Sprite e acqua minerale Fanta sono tutte gratuite. Mixc, Mixc World e Cocopark sono tutti a dieci minuti di macchina. E' inoltre molto vicino alla stazione della metropolitana. E' altamente raccomandato a turisti e viaggiatori d'affari.

Tutto in hotel è bello ! Il personale , l' ambiente , l' organizzazione del colazione e i programmi offerti sono fantastici ! Abbiamo fatto una notte durante le vacanze , ha un programma speciale per la piscina a bubble nella zona della piscina coperta . I bambini erano eccitati!Forse si aspettavano che la folla fosse in sala colazione, mettevano un po'di pasticceria nella zona di attesa del ristorante, in modo che i clienti possano goderla mentre aspettavano l'arrangiamento da tavola. Choosing a hotel in China can often be a hit-or-miss experience—but the Palace Hotel in Luohu, Shenzhen is truly a hidden gem. Located just 400 meters from the Shenzhen Railway Station, it’s a short and convenient walk—mostly through well-lit underground shopping alleys, with part of the route even passing a lively food street. The location is unbeatable. Right outside the hotel, Line 1 Metro is to your right, and Line 9 is to your left—both within 200 meters from the lobby. The hotel is also just 500 meters from Luohu Commercial City, one of Shenzhen’s largest malls, with hundreds of shops offering everything from electronics and knockoffs to dried food, fashion, massage parlours, and eateries. But a convenient location is only part of what makes a great stay—comfort matters, and this hotel delivers. Newly built in 2023, it’s modern, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with everything a tourist might need. The rooms are big and spacious. Free self-service laundry and dryers mean you can pack light. There’s also a gym, and within 500 meters, you’ll find an abundance of food options. Service is another standout. The staff are attentive and responsive. Towels are replaced promptly when needed, and even small gestures—like an extra bottle of mineral water—don’t go unnoticed. Security is excellent, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. I must give special mention to Miss Long (龙小姐) at the reception. Her attention to detail and dedication to service were truly impressive. What really stood out was when she personally carried three new 24” suitcases (which I had ordered from Xiaomi and delivered to the front desk) all the way to my room—an act that perfectly embodies “going the extra mile.” As a retired senior manager, I strongly urge the hotel’s leadership to recognize her potential. If you’re heading to Shenzhen and want a hotel with superb service and an unbeatable location, I highly recommend the Palace Hotel. It’s located just to the left of the Shangri-La Hotel—but with better value and warmth. We booked four rooms for our stay from April 23 to April 26. I stayed in Room 5419.

We were upgraded to family room, a big thumb up. The room is spacious and my daughters like the doraemon decoration. Upon checkin, we were told the room included two sets of breakfast, which was unexpected. It is more like a serviced apartment than a hotel. You can find fridge, washing machine and a writing desk. It is right opposite to Lao Street (Old Street) and hence you so not have to worry about eating. My family is highly satisfied with this hotel and will definitely come back.
