Hotel 5 stelle a Da Nang

This was a hotel that I spent a long time researching before booking. It had excellent reviews and a very high rating online. Unfortunately, my experience was a case of “looks great from a distance, but not quite as impressive up close.” Let me start with the positives. The lobby is beautiful, with a charming vintage design that creates a great first impression. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and communicated well in English. Upon arrival, we were offered cold towels and refreshing welcome drinks, which was a nice touch after a long journey. We decided to have lunch at the hotel’s restaurant. The food was average—not particularly memorable, but enough to satisfy our hunger. The staff escorted us and our luggage to the room. At first glance, the room looked acceptable, but as someone who is quite particular about cleanliness, I quickly noticed a significant amount of dust on various surfaces. I tried not to dwell on it because, for me, the most important thing is a clean and comfortable bed. Unfortunately, that night became the worst part of our stay. I barely slept during my first night. Throughout the night, I felt as though something was biting my skin, and I found myself constantly scratching. It was extremely uncomfortable and frustrating. The following morning during breakfast, a staff member kindly asked how we had slept. I honestly explained my experience and mentioned that I felt I had been bitten by something during the night. I requested that the bed linens be changed. To their credit, the staff responded immediately. They informed the front desk, and shortly afterwards a manager came to speak with us personally, apologised sincerely, and arranged for a deep cleaning of our room. At that moment, I truly appreciated their attitude because they made me feel that they genuinely cared and were actively trying to solve the problem. We then left for our day of sightseeing. When we returned to the hotel that afternoon, I was genuinely surprised. The room felt completely different from the day before. It smelled fresh and clean, every surface had been thoroughly wiped down, the floors were spotless, and even the musty smell that I had previously noticed was gone. The room finally felt as clean as I had expected from a highly rated hotel. As an additional gesture, the hotel offered me a complimentary 20-minute herbal bath treatment as compensation. I thought that was a thoughtful gesture and appreciated the effort they made to make things right. Most importantly, I slept wonderfully on the second night. For service and recovery, I would honestly give the team more than full marks. While the initial issue should not have happened, the way they handled the situation was professional, sincere, and efficient. As for breakfast, it was decent and perfectly acceptable. There was enough variety, although I believe there is still room for improvement. I would still recommend this hotel. The location is excellent, with many attractions and the riverside within easy walking distance. Regarding the facilities, they are all on the smaller side. The swimming pool is beautiful but quite small. The gym is compact, and the children’s playroom is also rather limited in size. None of these were deal-breakers for us, but they are worth noting for future guests. Overall, while the stay did not start well, the outstanding service recovery and excellent location left a positive final impression. No hotel is perfect, but what matters is how they respond when something goes wrong—and this hotel handled it exceptionally well.

I had a wonderful stay at Courtyard by Marriott Danang Han River. The hotel is modern, beautifully designed, and in a fantastic location with stunning views of the Han River. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast offered a great variety of delicious local and international dishes, and the facilities, especially the rooftop pool and bar, were excellent. Overall, it was an outstanding experience with exceptional service and great value. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Da Nang, and I will definitely stay here again!

L'hotel ha una vista meravigliosa, con colori vivaci ed è situato in posizione centrale, vicino a tutti i ristoranti che volevamo visitare e vicino alla spiaggia. Gli standard di servizio erano piuttosto scadenti: il sapone non è stato sostituito per due giorni consecutivi, il lavaggio a mano è stato lasciato vuoto per due giorni, la carta igienica non è stata sostituita negli ultimi due giorni della nostra visita di 4 notti e 5 giorni. L'hotel è un po' vecchio e necessita di ristrutturazione, la porta della doccia non si chiudeva, quindi il nostro bagno veniva allagato ogni giorno e con le pantofole da bagno la stanza era bagnata in alcune parti per la maggior parte del tempo. L'arredamento della sala colazione era molto carino ma come vegetariani / vegani non era eccezionale per il cibo locale, e il personale non capiva cosa stavamo chiedendo, ma generalmente buono per una colazione in stile continentale. Il personale era ben intenzionato e cordiale.

Great location, clean and stylish. They have universal plugs, USB, and Type-C chargers in the rooms. Free glass bottle waters are fancy. A rooftop bar (named Blackout), a poolside bar, and a coffee shop were available. Breakfast is very satisfactory with enough protein choices, both Asian and international choices, lots of fruit, and greens too. Croissants are yummy. Negative sides: service was sometimes slow (at the pool bar). Some of the gym machines were faulty, and I have reported it. I will definitely stay again.

My second stay in just over a year as I really enjoyed staying here first time around. Glad to find the resort is still as impeccable and luxurious as before. I really like the room here as it’s big, modern and has a touch of luxury. The breakfast buffet is so good here and the ingredients are very high quality - it’s always a thing I look forward every day while staying here. I made a request for high floor which was fulfilled but the initial room was too far from the lift for my elderly mom and so I request the customer service using WhatsApp to assign me to a different room. The WhatsApp guest service is top notch and I get a response fairly quickly and we like the second room assigned very much, although there is a bit of wait while changing room. A minor point as well is the room toilet do not have shower bidet which is usually standard in Vietnamese hotels. I was looking forward for the pickleball training but I couldn’t use the free pickleball facility this time around as the indoor court is under renovation, and only 1030am slot is available for training which will use outdoor court. It’s simply not doable as the weather is so hot at this time in danang. I hope mgmt can consider different time slot next time such as earlier or much later if indoor court is not available yet. Swimming pool is so much cleaner this time than my first visit. There was algae at the bottom in my first visit that I have feedback to management, and they did take notice and put to action. Also the shuttle bus situation is now ample, we manage to catch shuttle back to hotel from Hoian every time now, unlike before where the bus was always full and we had to take grab back. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and glad management reacted to feedback positively and implemented changes. Keep up the good work.

Ho soggiornato per le ultime 2 notti e mi sono riposato molto bene. Dato che era inverno, mi chiedevo cosa fare per nuotare, quindi ho prenotato per Vinpearl nella piscina coperta. Dato che erano nelle classi superiori, nuotarono tutti e tre i giorni. Mi fidavo della guardia di sicurezza, quindi io e mio marito siamo andati al mercato e abbiamo comprato del cibo. Siamo andati a fare la spesa e abbiamo fatto commissioni, e il centro città era vicino, quindi è stato facile fare un acquisto. Ho pagato la colazione una volta, ma da quando mi sono iscritto e ho ottenuto punti premio per aver mangiato, l'abbiamo mangiata tutti e quattro per 300.000 dong. Non c'è molto cibo ed è semplicemente semplice... Ma lo consiglio vivamente in molti modi~~~

Nice and new hotel. The service is excellent. There was a slight delay in our check in at 3pm and the housekeeping staff were still cleaning our room. The service manager immediately gave us free drinks vouchers for the pool bar as service recovery. The next day, Vivian even tracked us down at the breakfast restaurant to ask about our stay. She apologized for the slight inconvenience again. Also assisted with our request for late check out as our flight home was at 6.30pm. Very impressed with the service of the hotel. The room is spacious and very clean. All the amenities were good and working. There is a water dispenser in each room. The location is at the far end of My Khe beach, which was a little out of the way. The path to the beach is not as developed as the hotels nearer the centre of the beach, not near any beach clubs. But still easy to access, just cross the road and walk along the man-made (literally) path. There is a mini mart and foot massage place just beside the hotel. The hotel spa is also very nice. The view from the gym is great! Will stay here again if I visit Da Nang another time.

Most of us the travellers would love to share good things about the hotel experiences instead of negative comments. Location:Walking to Da Nang museum but not much to see on the left side walking out the hotel Services: : stayed 3 nights at the premium room on the executive floor from 30/3-2/4. We received warm welcome from the doorman, front desk staff and to the executive lounge for checking in. Our room is clean, spacious, and the river view from my balcony is awesome. Everything looks good and its worth to pay extra for the services. I immediately would have given a 5 star to share my review in the different travel websites. The whole experience was almost damaged from the incidents: 1)The room included turndown service. However, on the 2nd night after returning from a hot day, the room was not tidy up. I dialled “0” front desk at 10:40 pm and asked for clean towels. I was told that the housekeeper will deliver it soon. Wait and wait, call and call until it passed 20 minutes, I was assured again the housekeeper was on the way. My patience ran out! I came down to the front desk at 11pm to express my issue in person and was still be told that they had informed the housekeeping and was on the way. This is totally untrue and unacceptable! The housekeeping room is located at basement. Aren’t they not allowed to take elevator? The duty manager (Mr Tino Le) immediately contacted the housekeeper in front of me again stating someone (housekeeper named Phuong?) was still on the way and would be in my room within 15 minutes. Eventually my partner told me the housekeeper (wow… 4 people) arrived to the room to tidy up. The whole incident from calling to clean up took nearly 45 minutes. What I need was just some dry towels (the used one was on the floor. I was not asking for any turndown service). How frustrating! This is definitely a big problem between the departments. Mr Le showed his sincere apology for this situation and agreed to reflect to his superior. The next day I received a note and a gesture from the front desk manager - Mr Tin Nguyen. I know my case had been taken note. I Checked out on the 2nd where I met Mr Nguyen who apologies again regarding the problem. He understood my frustration and responsible . Truly a positive attitude being the Manager. Operation Team should rectified the issues right away 2) Requested some decaf to my room at the executive lounge but never comes. Anyway… Despite the unhappy experience , I do appreciate Mr Tino Le for his patience, and the concierge staff - Kevin who arranging the car for us to Hoi An attentively to ensure our trip safely. The breakfast is variety and the restaurant staff did a good job! Hope a better experience in my next visit

Questo hotel è fantastico! Ho organizzato il nostro anniversario in questo hotel e ho chiesto delle decorazioni. L'hotel ha ascoltato le mie richieste e mi ha fornito quello che desideravo, offrendoci anche una deliziosa piccola torta alle fragole con della frutta. L'ho apprezzato molto. Tutto è perfetto: pulizia, ambiente, piano alto con bella vista panoramica, letto e cuscini comodi. L'unico piccolo svantaggio è la posizione piuttosto lontana dalla città (circa 4 km), ma va bene perché usiamo il servizio Grab, che per noi è ragionevole. Tornerò sicuramente a soggiornare in questo hotel!

The place has a lot of potential! Very good amenities and room is quite new however, they seem to be understaff from the luggage staffs to check-in only 2 person at the front desk. There seems to be a lot of hotel guest for a two person check-in. Also strict with check-in and check out time which can be a little bit improved as they are marketed as one in the “luxury” side of Da nang. The aircon seems to not work in the lobby and elevator. We can feel the residence vibe than a luxury hotel vibe. But overall worth the money since it is super cheap compared to neighboring luxury hotels.
