Hotel 4 stelle a Porto

From the moment I landed, I knew this stay would be special. I was collected from the airport in a luxury Jaguar , (completely free) and transported again at departure, including complimentary trips to and from the city centre. Actual VIP treatment from start to finish .... something I have never experienced anywhere else. Because my flights didn’t match standard hotel times, the team kindly allowed early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost, which took away all travel stress and made my stay even more comfortable. That flexibility meant everything to me. Every single staff member was amazingly warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Although I sadly didn’t manage to catch the names of the wonderful ladies at reception, they were absolutely incredible and deserve huge praise. Special mention to Tomas — such a professional, friendly, standout member of the team. I later found out his birthday was on Thursday 4th, and I wish I had the chance to say Happy Birthday before I left! The location is perfect — close to shops, cafés, and restaurants, making it easy to explore Porto while still enjoying a calm, comfortable stay. The room was immaculate — spotlessly clean, cosy, and beautifully prepared. And the amenities were next-level: Mini-bar, tea and coffee station with kettle, plush slippers, bathrobe, bottled water......everything thoughtfully provided. I was welcomed with a welcome drink on arrival, and a fresh fruit tray waiting in my room. Nothing felt standard, everything felt intentional. What truly sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail. There is a clear sense of care, love, and purpose in every interaction and every small touch. You’re not treated like just another guest , you are genuinely looked after. I honestly cannot fault a single thing about this stay. Hotel Jaguar Porto combines luxury service with real warmth and heart, a rare find. If you’re heading to Porto and looking for an experience that goes far beyond accommodation, this is THE hotel to book. 100% recommended. I will absolutely be back. ✨👏

Mi piaceva assolutamente il mio soggiorno. Perfettamente situato con tonnellate da fare vicino. L'iscrizione era una brisa, e la mia stanza era elegante, moderna e con tutte le essenze. Per il prezzo, è un furto! Basta che si svegli – c'è un sito di costruzione vicino alla porta, ma non lasciare che ti fermi. Molto consiglia questo gem!

Molto buon hotel, ma doveva essere chiesto per avere una borsa a denti mentre normalmente gli hotel li mettono a disposizione senza che si chieda loro. Fate attention l’hotel registra la vostra carta bancaria e farà ancora un prelievo di 3€ senza il vostro consenso + la tassa di soggiorno, mentre in altri hotel 5 stelle non lo fanno.

The location is very centralised, making it extremely convenient to walk to the nearby attractions. We got upgraded to a room with a balcony which was lovely, and everything else about the room was just about perfect too. Super well upkept, maybe cos it’s relatively new too but the bathroom was very clean with zero mold spots. Water pressure was strong while the wifi and aircon / heater worked well. The only con was that the basin seemed a little choked with the water going down pretty slowly, but it wasn’t a major issue for us.

Our family reserved 3 rooms and arrived on a very early flight . Jose was kind enough to get 1 of our rooms ready within an hour so we could at least wash up, rest for a bit, and refresh before going out for the day. He continued to take care of us throughout our stay with anything we needed, while being extremely kind and personal. He is an excellent representative of the quality and care the hotel offers. We also liked the ambiance of the hotel. It was nicely lit and decorated in a fun, eclectic, and relaxing fashion. Our room rate included the breakfast which was an amazing spread with much variety, highly recommend. Location was central, easy walking distance everywhere. Small disappoin**ent was lack of gym. I know we walk around alot but it would’ve nice to have the option as my husband and son like to exercise quite a bit. In addition, the TV lounge room which can be nice for teenagers/kids to use while waiting for our rooms to be ready was rather plain in terms of interior design, just gray concrete walls, as opposed to the interesting and colorful designs of the rest of the hotel. This is just an observation, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back again.

La suite era bellissima, spaziosa e luminosa. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo: abbiamo dovuto fare il check-in in anticipo e lui è venuto personalmente ad aiutarci e ci ha consigliato un ristorante nelle vicinanze (che si è rivelato squisito!). È stato davvero carino da parte sua portare i nostri bagagli al piano di sopra mentre preparava la camera. Il bagno era pulitissimo, il divano e il letto comodissimi. La zona è molto trendy, artistica e autentica, cosa che ho apprezzato moltissimo. Avrei davvero voluto rimanere più a lungo (continuavo a dire che sarei tornata per un mese intero se avessi potuto). Onestamente, mi sono trovata benissimo e tornerò sicuramente se dovessi tornare a Porto (e lo consiglierò a tutti i miei amici di Lisbona!).

Just far enough from the busy crowded spots to feel peaceful, yet close enough to walk and or catch many different forms of transport. We booked planning to use the Sauna and Spa after a busy days sight seeing. Unfortunately they had time Limits that didnt allow such comfort, but that just made us do more in gorgeous Porto itself. The garden are well kept, a lovely, and not so small, green space to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Ana checked us in, she was wonderfully fun and full of so much helpful Information!! She gave us a fantastic, if not a little too ambitious itinerary for our short visit. And not one piece of advice Was wrong! Thankyou!! The apartments are nice, they have a warm grounding vibe. Everything Was comfortable except our bed, but that is always relative to who's sleeping in it. Well equipped for short stays, extra kitchen Equipment was available on request. But theres too many delicious options practically on your doorstep. We barely Even had coffee in our room. I would gladly return and stay at Apartments Oporto Anselmo again. And recommend

Un po' fuori dal centro, ma un hotel pulito con personale amichevole e utile. Ci siamo trasferiti una notte prima di essere stati prenotati per la prima notte di un viaggio di bicicletta organizzato. Il personale aveva trasferito i bagagli nella nuova stanza mentre uscivamo dalla vista. La sala da pranzo è fantastica, solo attraverso una porta dall'hotel con una vasta scelta di cibo e birra!

Abbiamo prenotato una suite junior e chiesto di essere messo su un piano alto, ma abbiamo assegnato la stanza di piano terra che si trovava davanti al giardino interno, rendendola piuttosto buia. La luce all’interno della stanza non ha aiutato nemmeno perché la maggior parte delle luci erano dirette alla luce. Ci siamo chiesti un cambio di stanza, ma non è stato detto. La stanza è sul pavimento vicino al lobby e al ristorante. Quando abbiamo chiesto di cambiare la stanza, ho espresso la mia preoccupazione che sarebbe stato rumore, e l'agente del dipartimento di fronte mi ha assicurato che non lo sarebbe stato. Poi, alla vigilia del nuovo anno, hanno una festa nel ristorante con musica molto alta. E il suono si è svuotato nella nostra stanza, e la festa è durata fino alle ore più piccole. La selezione di prodotti alimentari al colazione è piuttosto limitata. È davvero piuttosto mediocre rispetto ad altri hotel in questa categoria. L'unica grazia di risparmio per questo hotel è la sua posizione.

This is a beautiful apartment that made us not want to leave the room. It is apartment that came with a kitchen, dinner area, living area and a bedroom. You need to download the hotel’s app to be able to access the doors to the hotel and your room. Just select key on the app, bring your phone near the keypad and the door opens. Alternatively , you can also key in the 6-digit and #. 5G access may be inaccessible but you can manually switch it your phone to 4G and you will be able to access the app. There are close by restaurants that was less than 5mins walk; Thai, Chinese, Indian and a local diner that was cheap. There’s portions are big enough for 2. There’s also a provision shop right next door that you can buy your necessities like water, drinks etc. Don’t buy travel adaptors as they don’t work or fit. Easy to get Uber to the hotel and from the hotel to anywhere.
