CCarmenTamI stayed at Grand Hill Hotel Ulaanbaatar for five nights in November 2025. During my stay, I experienced a serious issue that was handled in a highly unprofessional manner, which significantly affected my trust in the hotel.
I had placed a sentimental hoodie in the wardrobe of my room. On the third day, due to very cold weather, I wore other coats when going out. I can confirm, based on all photos taken that day, that the hoodie was not taken out of the room. However, upon returning that evening, the hoodie was missing. At the same time, one of the two hotel bathrobes originally in the wardrobe was also gone.
I immediately reported this to the reception. The male staff member on duty initially stated that it was “impossible” for the hotel or housekeeping to have taken any items. Only after repeated requests did he contact the housekeeping staff, who denied taking anything. He promised to review CCTV footage the following day.
When I followed up the next day, other reception staff said they had no record or handover of the incident and asked me to wait until the same staff member returned in the evening. Only then was the CCTV reviewed. I was informed that the camera angle did not cover the room entrance, and no further investigation or follow-up was offered.
Throughout the process, there was no clear investigation procedure, written response, or proactive assistance. Instead, the communication repeatedly implied that the issue might have been the guest’s responsibility. This approach lacked transparency, accountability, and basic respect for a paying guest.
Based on this experience, I strongly advise future guests to take extra care in securing their personal belongings. In the event of missing items, the hotel’s response may be limited to denial and minimal follow-up, which is concerning for any traveler.

ZZaya ExplorerI had a pleasant stay at the Ramada Hotel overall. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, helpful, and made the experience smooth from check-in to check-out. The location is a major highlight for me, as it’s very convenient. I had to pick up my husband early in the morning from the airport, and it only took about 45 minutes, which worked out perfectly.
There is also a lounge on the top floor, which is a nice feature, although it felt a bit old-fashioned. In fact, the hotel overall has an older style and could benefit from some modernization.
The room itself was on the smaller side but still comfortable enough for a short stay. One issue I noticed was with the bathroom ventilation. Even though I was on a non-smoking floor, when I turned on the ventilator, cigarette smoke seemed to come through. Once I turned it off, the smell disappeared.
Additionally, we stayed two nights, and housekeeping did not come to make up the room, which was a bit disappointing. This is an area the hotel could improve.
Overall, despite a few inconveniences, I would still recommend this hotel for its great service and excellent location.

SSofia_PoeThe hotel looks a bit old-fashioned on the outside, but is rather modern inside. There are lots of facilities (restaurants, massage sauna) available. A supermarket is also located nearby.
The room is pretty small but comfortable and well-equipped. The basic amenities are provided: kettle, cup, glass, tea and coffee, comb, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap and shampoo. It's really warm inside even when it's cold outside. The breakfast is varied and very decent: fruit, eggs, meat, dessert, vegetables, coffee and tea. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Met connections from Australia completely by accident which hope will lead to job interviews.
Close to city centre. Staff were very friendly.
Rooms are not 5 star but suited needs and the staff do everything to make you comfortable.
I took advantage of the gym and the sauna and also used the breakfast restaurant. Very good.
Beer was also on tap and service was appreciated.
Will definatly stay here again and highly recommended.

UUtente ospiteI would highly recommend this hotel, it is well located near the city centre and its staff are very friendly and helpful. They arranged a car to pick us up from the airport when we arrived and helped us check the time and location of the show we wanted to see. When we arrived they upgraded our room, which was beautiful, spacious and very clean.

В номере чисто, есть чайник, холодильник. телевизор с различными каналами. Номер не новый, но чистый. В ресторане не питались, рядом с отелем магазин ,где можно купить продукты. Цены невысокие.
