Exceptional Hidden Gem! No Tourist Hassle, Just Pure Heartfelt Mongolian Hospitality and Amazing Comfort❤️ Our three-night stay at Hunnu Tourist Camp completely exceeded our expectations. It offers insane value for money and is the ultimate choice if you want to escape overcrowded commercial traps and experience the true harmony of Mongolian nature and genuine human connection. Pure Hospitality with Zero Hassle (Our Deepest Impression): The best part about this camp is the vibe. The hosts give you complete peace and space—there is absolutely none of the aggressive upselling or tourist hassle you often find elsewhere. They might seem quiet, but they are deeply attentive, showing their warmth through thoughtful actions rather than loud words. July Summer Comfort & Cozy Bedding: We visited in early July. Even though the daytime temperature reached 30°C outside, the inside of the ger remained surprisingly cool, airy, and refreshed without any air conditioning. However, summer nights on the steppe can plunge to single digits. To our delight, the beds were equipped with electric blankets, and the hosts even proactively brought us an electric heater because they were worried we might get cold. We slept incredibly warm and soundly! Wonderful Included Breakfast & Great Dining Options: Complimentary Breakfast: A delicious buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. It was a wonderful surprise to have a varied spread of fresh vegetables, meat, fruits, and boiled eggs on the steppe, along with comforting Korean seaweed soup and traditional Mongolian hot broth. Dinner Recommendation (Khorkhog): We highly recommend pre-ordering the traditional Mongolian stone-roasted meat (Khorkhog). It takes about 2 hours to prepare, so we usually ordered it during breakfast for our dinner. The portions are huge and come with a great variety of side dishes. Paid À La Carte Options: For other meals, the restaurant offers an excellent and affordable daily menu of Mongolian and Korean dishes that are freshly made to order. We loved the Kimchi tofu soup with rice, stir-fried spicy pork belly, handmade mutton fried noodles (Tsuivan), and crispy Khuushuur. Everything was satisfying and very well-priced! The Sweetest Check-out Gesture: On our final day, we had to catch a chartered car back to Ulaanbaatar Airport (UBN) at 7:00 AM, long before breakfast hours. We went to say goodbye to the host the night before and mentioned we would leave our ger door open upon departure. Hearing this, the host immediately went to pack a breakfast box for us for the next morning, filled with boiled eggs, fresh cucumbers, and mandarins. Receiving this thoughtful, handmade meal in the chilling steppe air deeply moved and healed us. Facilities & Activities: Shared bathrooms were kept spotless with abundant hot water. The surrounding nature is stunning for hiking, featuring lush meadow wetlands, unique gully erosion, and roaming livestock. You can even spot the Genghis Khan Statue Complex in the distance. The camp has its own stables where you can pay to ride horses directly to the Tuul River. They even provide traditional Mongolian costumes (Deel) in the lobby for guests to try on for free. Final Thoughts on Mongolian Culture: Throughout this journey, I deeply felt the spirit of the Mongolian nomads, who have coexisted alongside horses, sheep, wolves, and harsh blizzards for thousands of years. They hold a profound reverence for nature, viewing humans and animals not in a hierarchy, but as equal living beings nurtured by the same earth. This dignified, grounded, and unpretentious attitude is worlds apart from modern commercial societies, and it is precisely what made this journey so rare and precious to us. A perfect 10/10!

🇰🇷🇲🇳 A Warm Mongolian Journey Made Even Better by Korean-Speaking Hospitality During my recent trip to Mongolia, I stayed at this guesthouse for four days, and it became much more than just a place to sleep—it was a comforting home away from home. When I first arrived in Mongolia, I was worried about the language barrier and unfamiliar surroundings. I wasn't sure where to go, how to get around, or even what to eat. Fortunately, there was a staff member who could speak Korean and kindly assisted me throughout my stay. I would especially like to express my sincere gratitude to the female staff member who helped me. Whenever I had questions, she patiently explained everything in Korean with a warm smile. Thanks to her kindness, I was able to enjoy my four days in Mongolia without any inconvenience or stress. Beautiful scenery is an important part of any journey, but I believe it is the kindness of people that leaves the deepest impression. Everyone at this guesthouse was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely caring toward travelers. One of the greatest advantages of this guesthouse is its Korean-language service. For Korean travelers visiting Mongolia for the first time, it provides comfort and confidence, making the entire travel experience much easier and more enjoyable. If I have the opportunity to visit Mongolia again, I would not hesitate to stay here once more. The blue skies and vast grasslands of Mongolia were truly breathtaking, but the warmth and kindness of the people I met here will remain an even more precious memory. I stayed at Grand Hill Hotel Ulaanbaatar for five nights in November 2025. During my stay, I experienced a serious issue that was handled in a highly unprofessional manner, which significantly affected my trust in the hotel. I had placed a sentimental hoodie in the wardrobe of my room. On the third day, due to very cold weather, I wore other coats when going out. I can confirm, based on all photos taken that day, that the hoodie was not taken out of the room. However, upon returning that evening, the hoodie was missing. At the same time, one of the two hotel bathrobes originally in the wardrobe was also gone. I immediately reported this to the reception. The male staff member on duty initially stated that it was “impossible” for the hotel or housekeeping to have taken any items. Only after repeated requests did he contact the housekeeping staff, who denied taking anything. He promised to review CCTV footage the following day. When I followed up the next day, other reception staff said they had no record or handover of the incident and asked me to wait until the same staff member returned in the evening. Only then was the CCTV reviewed. I was informed that the camera angle did not cover the room entrance, and no further investigation or follow-up was offered. Throughout the process, there was no clear investigation procedure, written response, or proactive assistance. Instead, the communication repeatedly implied that the issue might have been the guest’s responsibility. This approach lacked transparency, accountability, and basic respect for a paying guest. Based on this experience, I strongly advise future guests to take extra care in securing their personal belongings. In the event of missing items, the hotel’s response may be limited to denial and minimal follow-up, which is concerning for any traveler.

i really liked it. i could even wash for free. cu right around the corner! just one thing the breakfast was just opened between 7-9 am. and they started to clear it out at 8:45. otherwise very good hotel!

Grazie di tutto. Ho perso i miei effetti personali più importanti, ma il personale ha cercato di ritrovarli insieme. Ha chiamato il tassista per recuperarli al posto mio, perché avevo solo il numero di telefono del mio Paese. L'ultimo giorno ho provato a dargli una mancia, ma non l'ha accettata perché sapeva che nel mio Paese non esiste l'usanza di lasciare la mancia. Sono rimasto molto colpito dal suo comportamento. Incontrarlo mi ha fatto pensare che voglio tornare di nuovo in Mongolia. Alloggerò sicuramente nello stesso hotel quando tornerò in Mongolia. Grazie!!

An Absolute Gem in Terelj! Modern Comfort Meets Breathtaking Wilderness 🏔️✨ If you are looking for a place in Gorkhi Terelj National Park that perfectly balances modern luxury, endless entertainment, and untouched natural beauty, Imperial Mount Resort is the ultimate choice. The Ultimate Host: The biggest highlight of our stay was the resort owner, who is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and speaks fluent English. Having a host you can communicate with easily in the wilderness is a game-changer. There is absolutely no need to join a rigid group tour; the owner quickly arranged a private driver for us (at our own expense) to visit nearby attractions like Turtle Rock and the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex. It allowed us to customize our own itinerary and enjoy total freedom. The Vibe & Accommodation: The resort is beautifully designed with a sleek, modern wooden main building. We stayed in a Duplex Dome, which offered incredible space and a skylight for stargazing. The biggest luxury was the private, clean bathroom with excellent hot water and separate wet/dry areas—a rare find that completely redefines the typical Mongolian camping experience! The resort sits in a peaceful valley surrounded by majestic rock formations and roaming horses, giving it a dreamy, ”Little Switzerland” feel. Top-Notch Amenities (All Free!): Unlike other remote camps, this place keeps you entertained. Inside the main building, there is a designated Ping Pong room, a billiards table, and Karaoke rooms—all completely free to use! Outside, they have basketball court, volleyball court, a colorful children's playground, and BBQ pits. Incredible Food: The dining here blew us away. The included breakfast was fresh and relaxing. However, I highly recommend ordering their ala carte dinner. They serve a fantastic mix of Western and traditional Mongolian dishes. We ordered the grilled meat skewers with fries, a massive chicken Caesar salad, a comforting hot vegetable and meat stew, and traditional Mongolian Huushuur (deep-fried meat pastries) and Buuz (steamed dumplings). Everything was incredibly flavorful and hearty! Horseback Riding Nearby: There is a professional horse ranch run by a neighbor just 100 meters away. It costs 30,000 MNT per hour, which is very reasonable. Tip: If it's your first time riding, I highly recommend hiring a coach to guide you for safety. Verdict: 10/10. An unforgettable stay with amazing hospitality. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Sono rimasto a Eagle Town per un secondo tempo a casa mia dalla Mongolia, e anche se sono arrivato tardi, il personale è stato estremamente utile e amichevole, soprattutto il tipo del desk front, il cui nome non ho catturato. Il giorno dopo mi ha portato all'aeroporto, e - anche se questo era un malinteso - aveva preparato la stanza specialmente per ospitare quattro persone (lo stava viaggiando da solo, ma Trip.com aveva fatto sembrare che ci fossero quattro di noi). Le camere sono belle, con letti molto confortevoli, perfette dopo essere state in campagna per una settimana. La posizione è piuttosto vicino all'aeroporto di Chinggis Khan, o almeno quanto si può arrivare ora, e ci sono molti negozi di vendite e negozi di comodità nella zona. Non avevo alcun uso per la cucina, ma sembrava essere fornito almeno con alcune basi per le persone che vogliono cucinarsi.

La posizione è buona. La risposta del personale è buona, la distanza è ragionevole, non c'è problema. Mi dispiace, perché il fango ha uscito solo per pochi minuti di acqua calda e bassa pressione idrica. Penso che non sia utile perché il dispositivo è vecchio, ma è un punto negativo. Sono molto soddisfatto perché il prezzo è economico

La camera è spaziosa, pur essendo una singola. La biancheria da letto è pulita. Ho dovuto ricordarmi di portare i prodotti da bagno. Gli asciugamani lasciano molto a desiderare. Per tre giorni non ci sono stati asciugamani puliti, la spazzatura non è stata portata fuori, non c'è stata pulizia. Forse non volevano disturbarci :)). Colazione a un orario scomodo, dalle 9 alle 10, e in generale niente di cui parlare. Dovevo partire presto la mattina, ho chiesto di preparare dei panini, in realtà è arrivato il taxi, e a quanto pare l'hanno fatto, tutto è stato molto lento... Il personale mi ha aiutato con domande su dove e dove andare.
