Exceptional Hidden Gem! No Tourist Hassle, Just Pure Heartfelt Mongolian Hospitality and Amazing Comfort❤️ Our three-night stay at Hunnu Tourist Camp completely exceeded our expectations. It offers insane value for money and is the ultimate choice if you want to escape overcrowded commercial traps and experience the true harmony of Mongolian nature and genuine human connection. Pure Hospitality with Zero Hassle (Our Deepest Impression): The best part about this camp is the vibe. The hosts give you complete peace and space—there is absolutely none of the aggressive upselling or tourist hassle you often find elsewhere. They might seem quiet, but they are deeply attentive, showing their warmth through thoughtful actions rather than loud words. July Summer Comfort & Cozy Bedding: We visited in early July. Even though the daytime temperature reached 30°C outside, the inside of the ger remained surprisingly cool, airy, and refreshed without any air conditioning. However, summer nights on the steppe can plunge to single digits. To our delight, the beds were equipped with electric blankets, and the hosts even proactively brought us an electric heater because they were worried we might get cold. We slept incredibly warm and soundly! Wonderful Included Breakfast & Great Dining Options: Complimentary Breakfast: A delicious buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. It was a wonderful surprise to have a varied spread of fresh vegetables, meat, fruits, and boiled eggs on the steppe, along with comforting Korean seaweed soup and traditional Mongolian hot broth. Dinner Recommendation (Khorkhog): We highly recommend pre-ordering the traditional Mongolian stone-roasted meat (Khorkhog). It takes about 2 hours to prepare, so we usually ordered it during breakfast for our dinner. The portions are huge and come with a great variety of side dishes. Paid À La Carte Options: For other meals, the restaurant offers an excellent and affordable daily menu of Mongolian and Korean dishes that are freshly made to order. We loved the Kimchi tofu soup with rice, stir-fried spicy pork belly, handmade mutton fried noodles (Tsuivan), and crispy Khuushuur. Everything was satisfying and very well-priced! The Sweetest Check-out Gesture: On our final day, we had to catch a chartered car back to Ulaanbaatar Airport (UBN) at 7:00 AM, long before breakfast hours. We went to say goodbye to the host the night before and mentioned we would leave our ger door open upon departure. Hearing this, the host immediately went to pack a breakfast box for us for the next morning, filled with boiled eggs, fresh cucumbers, and mandarins. Receiving this thoughtful, handmade meal in the chilling steppe air deeply moved and healed us. Facilities & Activities: Shared bathrooms were kept spotless with abundant hot water. The surrounding nature is stunning for hiking, featuring lush meadow wetlands, unique gully erosion, and roaming livestock. You can even spot the Genghis Khan Statue Complex in the distance. The camp has its own stables where you can pay to ride horses directly to the Tuul River. They even provide traditional Mongolian costumes (Deel) in the lobby for guests to try on for free. Final Thoughts on Mongolian Culture: Throughout this journey, I deeply felt the spirit of the Mongolian nomads, who have coexisted alongside horses, sheep, wolves, and harsh blizzards for thousands of years. They hold a profound reverence for nature, viewing humans and animals not in a hierarchy, but as equal living beings nurtured by the same earth. This dignified, grounded, and unpretentious attitude is worlds apart from modern commercial societies, and it is precisely what made this journey so rare and precious to us. A perfect 10/10!

La posizione era incredibile! Non avrei potuto chiedere più sorprendenti viste. Era davvero incredibile! La famiglia che possiede i piatti erano così amichevole e utile nonostante poco a nessun inglese, tranne per il proprietario che è fluido ma non intorno a quanto pare. Il Wi-Fi era giù e non c'era nessun segnale, che era in realtà buono perché volevo un interruzione da Internet, ma ha reso difficile trovare il modo di arrivare. Google e Apple Maps non elencano come arrivare lì, è così lontano che si deve attraversare due fiumi in un auto haha. Sono stati molto adatti al fatto che ero vegetariano, ma ci sono stati alcuni costi nascosti, perché è così lontano che a kinda non aveva scelta, ma pagare $10 per pranzo e cena, che era ragionevolmente prezioso. Ci era una sauna in un giardino che era davvero cool! E l'altra sera abbiamo avuto un bel fuoco fuori. La mia unica denuncia era che i costi per altre attività erano troppo elevati, tutto era per persona che penso fosse sleale, perché la sauna è 45 dollari pp ma tutti siamo entrati allo stesso tempo in modo che il costo poteva essere diviso. Inoltre, era un soggiorno inoltrabile! Ci era gratis caffè e acqua potabile (calda e fredda). Il doccia non funzionava bene, ma è la desertificazione.

Un grande appartamento in una bella casa e zona moderna, vicino al centro. Nell'appartamento, camere separate, 2 grandi letti confortevoli + un divano di disposizione. Una bella vista da 22 piani. Infrastruttura sviluppata, tutto quello che ti serve è vicino. Emart, SPA Encanto, Caffè, negozi, saloni, farmacia. Per una famiglia o per una società, la scelta perfetta

This place is definitely one of the best hostels in UB, spacious, clean and well-furnished. The location is close to shops and the city center. It has a kitchen and keyless access to the main entrance. Beds are comfy, and the rooms are quiet. Highly recommended for the city traveler in UB.

La camera è spaziosa, pur essendo una singola. La biancheria da letto è pulita. Ho dovuto ricordarmi di portare i prodotti da bagno. Gli asciugamani lasciano molto a desiderare. Per tre giorni non ci sono stati asciugamani puliti, la spazzatura non è stata portata fuori, non c'è stata pulizia. Forse non volevano disturbarci :)). Colazione a un orario scomodo, dalle 9 alle 10, e in generale niente di cui parlare. Dovevo partire presto la mattina, ho chiesto di preparare dei panini, in realtà è arrivato il taxi, e a quanto pare l'hanno fatto, tutto è stato molto lento... Il personale mi ha aiutato con domande su dove e dove andare.

È un ottimo ostello per una notte. Sembra un po'disorganizzato. Alcuni vani hanno solo una cortina che li separa dai corridoi dell'edificio, e non ci sono nemmeno cortine sui bassi, come alcuni altri ostelli. Non è il migliore, ma potrebbe essere stato peggio.

Главный плюс отеля - его расположение. Это самый центр Улан-Батора. Напротив есть круглосуточный минимаркет CU, в котором можно купить всё минимально необходимое. Рядом также есть магазин-супермаркет с выбором побольше, работал с 9 до 21. Мы жили в номере категории ”Стандарт” на пятом этаже. В номере не было фена, мигала лампочка в ванной и в подсветке над кроватью. Окна очень грязные, так что штору от них лучше не отодвигать, уютнее будет)) Завтрак в номер приносят с 08:30 до 09:30, но если не сходить ножками на ресепшен и не напомнить - не принесут :) и в номере тоже не уберутся, если не напомнить. По-английски персонал говорит плохо, Гугл-переводчик с монгольского выручал. Завтрак состоит из сосиски, жареного яйца и двух кусочков хлеба, а также приносят чайный пакетик. В номере есть чайник, кружки и стаканы. Холодильника нет. Кровать очень удобная, выспались отлично. В целом: если трезво оценивать соотношение цены и качества,оно приемлемое. Не стоит ждать слишком многого. Для короткой остановки на одну-две ночи при ограниченном бюджете сойдёт.
