"The hotel does not provide daily cleaning. Cleaning is done,once in three days. As a result, we had to clear our own trash everyday because the bins provided were simply too small and insufficient for accumulating three days worth of trash. This hotel is not advisable for traveller stay more than 2 days or long stay There are only two washing machines in the hotel. Both machines are constantly in use (70 to 80 percent) most of the time. We had to wait very a few hours, at times waking up in the middle of the night just to secure a slot to use the washing machine. Rooms are modern but not very large. The only consolation is the hotel’s relatively close proximity to the shopping street."

"10-15 mins walk from Otaru station, few mins walk to the canal and shopping street. Breakfast is ok and my kids like the bunk bed very much, overall it was a good stay! 😊"

"I really enjoyed stay here. I got out of the Otaru JR station and the hotel is, across the road. Room was clean and functionable. I was on 9th floor and my window view was a big bonus. There is onsen but i missed it due to lack of time. Hotel is close to canal and shops and i have to mention the Triangle Market., where i had one of my best meal - grilled halibut. Check out my window view. This is a good base to explore the famous shops and eat good seafood."

"L'hotel è stato molto situato in prossimità del canale Otaru e a pochi passi da shopping e pranzo, nonché della stazione ferroviaria (anche se le condizioni neve lo rendevano un po' difficile). Mentre il lobby dell'hotel sembrava moderno, l'interno della stanza si sentiva obsoleti. Nota che il check-out tardivo viene con un canone di 2000 JPY all'ora, quindi pianificate di conseguenza. In generale, è stato un soggiorno decente di una notte."

"Hotel is near the all touristy places like the canal. So most things were within walking distance. We completed most things in like 2-3 hours, so in fact there wasn't a real need to stay over a night in Otaru. By evening there wasn't anything much to do so we just stayed in the room as it was raining as well. After checking out, we drove to the next destination. Hotel staffs were incredibly helpful and courteous."

"Otaru Kourakuen è un piacevole ryokan di onore a Otaru, Giappone, perfetto per una romantica strada. Il mio recente soggiorno per tre giorni e due notti non è stato meno di incantevole. Otaru Kourakuen, in una zona tranquilla, offre un ritiro pacifico lontano dalla resistenza e dalla bussola.Il ryokan si trova a buon mercato vicino alle attrazioni più importanti come l'occhiata al porto di Otaru e il porto di Otaru Marina. La camera con un bagno aperto era un'alta evidenza. La stanza era spaziosa, pulita e bellamente decorata, offrendo una combinazione perfetta di comfort tradizionali e moderni. La camera aperto ha aggiunto un toccamento di lusso e romanticismo al nostro soggiorno. Il personale di Otaru Kourakuen era incredibilmente attento e amichevole, andarono di sopra e di là per assicurarci che il nostro soggiorno fosse comodo e memorabile. La loro calda ospitezia ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Il ryokan offre eccellenti servizi, tra cui Wi-Fi gratuita, servizio in camera e un ristorante in loco. Il pranzo era un piacere culinario. Ci piaceva la cucina tradizionale giapponese, che era deliziosa e bella. Il colazione e la cena serviti al ryokan erano alcuni dei migliori pasti che abbiamo mangiato durante il nostro viaggio. Il nostro soggiorno a Otaru Kourakuen è stato una miscela perfetta di relax e romanticismo, e l'ambiente tranquillo, un servizio eccellente e un'esperienza di lusso lo hanno reso un'esperienza inoltrabile. Raccomando vivamente Otaru Kourakuen a chiunque cercasse un giardino romantico e pacifico in Giappone."

"A boutique style heritage building with high end art deco architecture designed hotel. Style, class of its own with high-tea style breakfast. The chef was of top-notch with well-balance crafted menus. The taste was exemplary good. I enjoyed the wine tasting too and love the OTARU dry white wine and OTARU beer. Lightings and ambiance atmosphere and helpful and friendly staff. Walking distance to heritage financial street and OTARU canals."

"Hotel is easy to find although I need to walk around 15 min at slow pace from train station to the hotel. Luckily, along the walk, there are roof shelters provide so that snow flakes does not cover the path during my walk. Under these walking shelters, there are many food stalls and restaurants to have meal, beside having meals in the hotel."

"Sebbene sia un vecchio hotel, può dire alla età dell'edificio e delle strutture.Mio marito e io ci sentiamo molto comodi durante il nostro soggiorno. Il personale è stato bello e utile  La stanza è molto pulita, vecchia ma molto pulita, che richiede un sforzo molto. (a differenza di alcuni altri hotel sembrano nuove cause che sono ristrutturati ma non puliti e si può vedere polvere ovunque e sa che non hanno cambiato l'articolo se non sono utilizzati.)"
