Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

Ho effettuato la prenotazione lo stesso giorno. Ho soggiornato per una notte, ma la camera era pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort, e ho alloggiato in una camera singola con colazione inclusa. Ed è vicino alla stazione! ! Ho pensato che fosse un buon valore per questo importo. Ho potuto soggiornare comodamente come viaggiatore singolo. Anche i dipendenti erano gentili. Avevo la sensazione che il buffet della colazione non contenesse molte verdure, ma ritenevo che fosse sufficiente dato che c'erano molte bevande come formaggio, prosciutto, pane e caffè. Non c'è problema. Quando ho detto alla reception che avevo dimenticato il caricabatterie, me lo hanno gentilmente prestato, il che è stato molto utile.

La posizione è ottima, vicina a S.M.N., c'è la vasca da bagno, la colazione è pulita e il personale è gentile. Mi è piaciuta molto l'atmosfera antica e rilassante. Al momento del check-out, mi hanno chiesto di pagare per un pasto che non avevo consumato, il che mi ha un po' sorpresa, ma hanno risolto subito la situazione. ㅎㅎㅎ

L'hotel si trova a 5-8 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria e nelle vicinanze ci sono molti ristoranti. Proprio di fronte all'hotel c'è anche una linea di tram che collega direttamente alla stazione ferroviaria e all'aeroporto, rendendolo molto comodo. Le camere erano pulite e la colazione piuttosto abbondante. Tuttavia, anche dopo aver specificato che non avevamo bisogno che la camera venisse pulita, il personale è entrato accidentalmente e l'ha pulita. Sebbene si siano scusati in seguito, è comunque un aspetto da tenere presente e i viaggiatori che sono particolarmente attenti a questo dettaglio dovrebbero ricordarlo all'hotel.

Devo dire che questo hotel è stato il migliore del nostro viaggio e sarà la mia scelta fissa per future visite a Firenze. Servizi: Le camere dell'hotel sono ben progettate, e quelle che si affacciano sulla strada hanno anche un piccolo balcone. Pulizia: Impeccabile. Ambiente: La posizione dell'hotel è un po' scomoda se si arriva in auto. Anche se non si trova nella zona ZTL, è talmente vicina che è facile sbagliare strada. Inoltre, il tram davanti all'hotel è un po' rumoroso, ma chiudendo porte e finestre non si sente quasi più. Servizio: Il servizio dell'hotel è un po' lento. Ho dovuto parcheggiare la macchina per strada e completare il check-in prima di poter accedere al parcheggio, il che è stato un po' fastidioso. Il design dell'hotel è eccellente e lo consiglio vivamente.

La posizione è molto buona, a sette minuti dalla stazione, a dieci minuti dal Museo di Uftzy, ma è difficile trovarlo, perché non c'è segno dell'hotel!Anche se sono vicino a 10m, non so come venire. Ottimo ubicazione, eccellente, trattamento e servizio per tutto il personale, specialmente per il receptionista che è al mattino e che sa parlare spagnolo. La sua gentilezza e la sua attenzione: eccezionale, chi ha una piscina, anche se piccola, per dare un cappotto soprattutto in estate, con il calore che fa, è un punto importante da tenere in considerazione, E anche se ho letto che non avverte che non ha ascensore e che molti casi, come noi, ti mandano al secondo piano con molte scale, è vero, ma anche loro ti salgono e ti abbassano i bagagli. So the bed was a little bit uncomfortable because I booked a single. I wanted to switch to a double and pay the extra €8 up charge but they didn't have any rooms available the two times that I wanted to switch. The single bed baby slightly uncomfortable and made my body sore. I think if I had a double I would have been perfectly fine but as things stand I kind of have a back ache. Breakfast was tasty staff was very polite and professional location was ideal. I won't book a single there again but I thought this room was lovely the amenities were lovely The service was lovely and I had a great time. I would without question stay there again but not in a single bed. The room was very small but well situated and I was happy with the staff the breakfast and everything else except for the bed which was uncomfortable to me. The one problem I will say with that room is that the lights are dim they were perhaps trying to economize and I bought a hundred watt light bulb and stuck it in the light socket because it was just too dark for me to see him for me to read and for me to function. They took it out and replaced it with a very low wattage bulb I think it's to try to save money to be honest. So buy light bulb 75 Watts and when you leave the room and they clean it take it out and put their crappy light bulb in. Also there's only a few television stations in English and they were all news. No movies. I still would stay there again I like the theme of the hotel I like the ambience and I like the staff.
