Hotel 4 stelle a Urumqi

A me piaceva molto l'hotel, la posizione e il servizio erano buoni. Gli diede un punteggio inferiore perché, sebbene fossimo in un piano non fumatori, qualcuno fumava e faceva passare l'odore attraverso i venti climatizzati. L'hotel non era a conoscenza del momento in cui abbiamo dato il feedback. Sarebbe anche bello se ci fosse un mini frigo nelle stanze. Oltre a questi due negativi, il nostro soggiorno è stato buono.

Hotel was clean and spacious. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. However, housekeeping was really poor. They crumpled our pajamas and i found mine on the floor. We pressed “DND” for housekeeping yet they still came in anyways. There was no fridge in the room. Front desk staff on some days tried to be helpful but unfriendly and I felt judged by them — like they have the “why are you asking stupid questions” look. The hotel is also surrounded by construction yet near the high speed rail station. Will I stay here again? It’s valid for money for the comfort but I hope they will improve their service standards.

The staff are very helpful, we couldn't find any money exchanges around, but one male receptionist kindly changed money for us at a fair rate, we appreciated. There's a shopping building just at the corner across from the hotel, we loved the food market inside there, they have varieties of food such as fresh fruit, veges, bread, cakes and everything! I liked their breakfast, not too much, not too little, freshly cooked local meals in buffet style, enjoyed eating the congee with a little seasoning. They have toast with nice flavoued jam and marmalade as well, it was more than enough❤️ We also slept very well, quiet and comfortable.

great city view, the elevators are shared with the entire office building so always crowded and needed to wait for a while, laundry was only only the first floor, so being in the same elevator with all of the office workers while carrying my dirty clothes were kinda weird. airport and station drop off pick up for free, which made it very worthy

Positives: Great hotel, premium room, good amenities, comfortable bed with very good bed linen. The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful! The toilet is a smart toilet with a bidet. Negatives: Hygiene needs to be reevaluated as the floors were actually very dirty. The shower also has orange mould where clients must stand to shower (the hotel can invest in a high pressure steam cleaner to clean it regularly). While the bed sheets are premium, the duvet is too hot for summer (consider having summer down blankets as an option).

The hotel has a great location: a brisk 5-7-minute walk from the metro (exit A). The route itself is interesting: on the left and right are entrances to the Grand Bazaar and plenty of street vendors selling fruit, food, clothing, and souvenirs. The hotel was unusual for us as tourists. When you open your room, the curtains automatically open, and you hear a voice message in Chinese. We didn't understand what it meant, though. The room was large, beautiful, and comfortable, with good beds, a huge TV, and panoramic windows. The courtyard view means the windows overlook other hotel windows through a narrow pedestrian walkway with a transparent roof, allowing you to see other guests—and they can see you. Although our silhouettes weren't very clear, we still felt uneasy, so we asked to change rooms. We were upgraded to a room with smaller windows. The sink was separate in the room, and the bathroom had only a toilet and shower. The toilet didn't have a flush button; it flushed automatically and had a small blue light, which was convenient if you want to use it at night in the dark. At first, we were very disappointed that the room didn't have a refrigerator (minibar), as stated in the room description, as we had strictly chosen a hotel with a minibar. At reception, we were told we could put food in their refrigerator. As compensation, they allowed us to check out a little later for free. Also cheese yoghurts «Tea Ballet» were offered every day. They were very tasty and of good quality. There are several robots roaming inside the hotel, but we didn't understand their function either. You can pick up some essentials for your stay on the ground floor (tea, sleeping masks, hair elastics, and other suitable stuff). We really enjoyed the breakfasts. The selection wasn't huge compared to other hotels, but they were all well-prepared and delicious. The food wasn't too spicy, with pleasant seasonings, good milk tea, corn, etc., which gave the impression of a healthy meal. We had a few small suggestions regarding the room: it would have been very helpful to have more towel racks in the bathroom and a bit more storage space for clothes. Also, we noticed there were no forks available during breakfast, which was a little inconvenient. We believe addressing these small details would make the guest experience even better. Amber & Mr. Ma is great asset to the hotel as they are friendly & helpful who offer assistance in our needs. Thank you to both of them. They made our stay in your hotel very pleasantly. There is a nearby eatery at the hotel Hotan Rosa .. highly recommended... Hand Grab Rice.. The room is clean and comfortable to stay in. The location is very near to those people who wants to take the train at the Urumqi Railway Station. We unable to have the breakfast as we have early tour to catch. So the hotel assist us to arrange prepack breakfast for us to bring out in the morning.

We stayed there for 3 nights. If we knew the hotel is so old and lacking maintenance, we would have chosen somewhere else. 1. The room is old, dark and dull. The window got cracks. The air-con is not cold. The toilet design not very private, even if you close the toilet door, it still can see through. The room feels dusty, perhaps because of dusty windows. 2. We asked the hotel to recommend a tour to Tianshan Tianchi. The recommended tour agent on Weixin/wechat was bad. He falsely sold Tianshan Tianchi tour to us, the tour was not according to what we agreed, and no responsibility whatsoever. We left hotel at 7.30am, the tour wasted a lot of our time before reaching the lake at 13.00pm, leaving us not enough time at the lake. We understand this is not directly hotel’s fault, but we request the hotel to stop doing business with this tour agent. 3. After we checked out, our next hotel in Kashgar couldn’t check us in because the staff at this hotel didn’t check us out from the government system, causing hassles. Good things were the laundry room, which is convenient, and the location which is near to a lot of food, small shopping mall, and walking to Metro station. The hotel breakfast was delicious. The staff at the breakfast was good.
