The hotel is in a convenient location, there are many food services around. Especially the staff is very enthusiastic. I asked them for a copy of my temporary residence card, the manager helped us go to the police to get a confirmation stamp even though it took a lot of their time. The room is very cozy and the bathroom is clean. I stayed here for 4 nights and if I have the opportunity to return to Urumqi, this will be one of my first choices.

Service: For check in on trip, it says to call a day in advance. I tried this, but the person who answered couldn't speak English. It was not a problem, because I then messaged on the online chat. That was perfectly fine and they responded very quickly. I'd say if you don't speak Chinese, just message online. The front desk staff were super helpful when I was there, and quick to use a translator so we could communicate well. Amenities: I did some washing, laundry detergent cost ¥10 I think, and again the staff were very helpful, finding as many hangers as I needed to dry my clothes. Location: The environment was so peaceful, the lobby was a nice air-conditioned place to hang out. The outside grass area was so lovely, with little lavender and rose plants and chairs to sit outside. There is also a bar across the courtyard, and a coffee shop. The area is a bit far out of the city, but it is right near the metro, lots of local shops, and a mall with some big chain stores. Things to consider: I stayed in the single room attached to the women's dorm. It was so handy to have my own space for a very reasonable price. However, the single room itself does not have its own air-conditioning. The women's dorm does, so to cool the room down, I would just keep the door between open for a bit. Still, it was never as cold as the dorm room because it went up to 40°c outside when I was there, and I preferred to keep the door locked when I went out to keep my belongings safe. The single room does have a fan and a window, so you can get some airflow through there. Overall, it was fine, just be aware if you are travelling during the summer. (Also one suggestion I would have is to put a mirror in the room, so you can get ready in there). The only other issue was no soap for washing hands in the dorm bathroom, although there was shampoo and conditioner provided in the shower. Cat: The cat was so cute! 🐈

A new hotel with high-tech amenities, like power curtains, voice control remote in the room, customer service robot, etc. Hotel provides free airport transfer and is within walking distance of the high speed rail station (you can see it from hotel and just need to walk towards it). The hotel is also flexible when it comes to late check out, allowing us to use the room till 5pm. They also have a laundry room equipped with excellent washer and dryer machines that are free for guests to use. If there is something to pick on the hotel, the breakfast can be improved, and should start earlier than 8am.

Non sono riuscito a installare il mio eSIM prima e dopo l’atterraggio e, come tale, non ho avuto accesso a Internet quando ho cercato di trovare l’hotel. Ho avuto l’indirizzo dell’hotel, ma non ho trovato il n. 141 tra gli edifici con numero strano. L'hotel è in una pista dietro gli edifici numerosi, e una donna di tipo cinese ha aiutato a trovare l'hotel. La ricezione mi ha offerto un aggiornamento in una stanza con una finestra e mi ha lasciato controllare in anticipo e controllare leggermente dopo il tempo di check-out. La mia stanza era tranquilla, non faceva fronte alla strada. Il tè, il caffè e i snack leggeri sono offerti al lobby. Ci sono molti commercianti, negozi e venditori di frutta intorno alla zona.Il Grand Bazaar è a circa 25-30 minuti a piedi.

Al piano terra c'è un piccolo supermercato dove è facile acquistare tutto il necessario. Ci sono molti venditori ambulanti che offrono verdura, frutta e cibo; un'ampia varietà di prodotti a prezzi convenienti. Dall'altra parte della strada, ci sono diversi ristoranti tra cui scegliere. Non è lontano dalla fermata dell'autobus; il Gran Bazar Internazionale è a poche fermate di autobus, molto comodo. 2. Servizi: Due lavatrici gratuite. Ho soggiornato in una camera dormitorio da quattro letti. La camera aveva un bagno con doccia. Era luminosa e spaziosa. I letti erano adatti ai viaggiatori con lo zaino in spalla. Erano presenti tende, prese di corrente, una piccola lampada e mensole: più che sufficienti. 3. Abbigliamento accogliente Al mio arrivo, ho incontrato il proprietario alla reception. Gli ospiti precedenti avevano detto che era un esperto di sci, quindi ho colto l'occasione per chiedergli informazioni sulle lezioni di sci e sulla formazione per istruttori: molto istruttivo! Il giorno dopo, mentre uscivo per cena, ho incontrato alla reception una ragazza uigura molto carina di nome Subi. Gli occhi di Subi erano di un azzurro-verde brillante e limpido, e mi hanno fatto un'ottima impressione. Stavo per scendere a cena, ma non ho resistito alla tentazione di attaccare bottone con lei. Aveva una personalità molto estroversa e schietta, il che la rendeva una persona divertente e alla mano con cui parlare. L'ostello Xingsu è un'ottima scelta per i backpacker a Urumqi. Cinque stelle! Consigliatissimo!
