Hotel 2 stelle a Urumqi

Le strutture igieniche sono ottime. Ho soggiornato lì due anni fa e le strutture e i prodotti sono ancora nuovissimi. I servizi sono pensati con cura: i bicchieri di carta usa e getta sono confezionati singolarmente e in bagno ci sono salviette disinfettanti. Le ciabatte usa e getta sono di buona qualità, la camera è inodore e le zone umide e asciutte sono separate. Il personale è cordiale e l'esperienza complessiva è positiva. Nelle vicinanze si trovano una fermata dell'autobus e una stazione BRT, il che rende gli spostamenti comodi.

Nice hotel overall. The room is clean and comfortable, and plenty of bottled water is provided. There was a soft spot in the wooden floor tiles, almost as if the flooring has dented over time due to usage. It didn’t affect the stay, but it may be something worth upgrading in the future. The air conditioning/heating unit is very useful, though it has a slight humidity-related smell when operating. Our room rate included breakfast, served in the cafeteria on the second floor. The food was very good—one of the better inclusive breakfast offerings I’ve experienced among hotels in a similar price range. The staff are very kind and consistently greet you as you walk in and out of the hotel. There is also security at the front entrance, which adds an extra layer of safety and reassurance. The location is convenient, with many shops and restaurants nearby, and it’s also very easy to get around using Didi. Overall, a very good experience and I would gladly return.

L'hotel si trova in una zona priva di ristoranti o negozi. Bisogna girare per la metropolitana per trovarne. L'autobus è più comodo della metropolitana per alcune zone. Il Didi è più caro a Urumqi. È raggiungibile con un breve tragitto dalla stazione ferroviaria principale di Urumqi (non a sud o a nord). Riassumendo: la posizione non è delle migliori, ma se si trova una tariffa più bassa potrebbe valerne la pena. L'hotel è pulito ma un po' datato. Non appartiene più al gruppo HANTING, ha un altro nome (controllare l'immagine della mappa). Si sentono le auto che passano sul ponte di fronte.

Service: For check in on trip, it says to call a day in advance. I tried this, but the person who answered couldn't speak English. It was not a problem, because I then messaged on the online chat. That was perfectly fine and they responded very quickly. I'd say if you don't speak Chinese, just message online. The front desk staff were super helpful when I was there, and quick to use a translator so we could communicate well. Amenities: I did some washing, laundry detergent cost ¥10 I think, and again the staff were very helpful, finding as many hangers as I needed to dry my clothes. Location: The environment was so peaceful, the lobby was a nice air-conditioned place to hang out. The outside grass area was so lovely, with little lavender and rose plants and chairs to sit outside. There is also a bar across the courtyard, and a coffee shop. The area is a bit far out of the city, but it is right near the metro, lots of local shops, and a mall with some big chain stores. Things to consider: I stayed in the single room attached to the women's dorm. It was so handy to have my own space for a very reasonable price. However, the single room itself does not have its own air-conditioning. The women's dorm does, so to cool the room down, I would just keep the door between open for a bit. Still, it was never as cold as the dorm room because it went up to 40°c outside when I was there, and I preferred to keep the door locked when I went out to keep my belongings safe. The single room does have a fan and a window, so you can get some airflow through there. Overall, it was fine, just be aware if you are travelling during the summer. (Also one suggestion I would have is to put a mirror in the room, so you can get ready in there). The only other issue was no soap for washing hands in the dorm bathroom, although there was shampoo and conditioner provided in the shower. Cat: The cat was so cute! 🐈

Ho apprezzato il mio tempo qui e sono felice di trovare questo posto. I lavoratori sono gentili e creano un'atmosfera davvero buona qui. si può trovare una TV, libero di usare, una tavola da piscina e molto spazio per rilassarsi.

La sorpresa più piacevole di questo viaggio è stato questo ostello! Il design del letto era davvero curato nei minimi dettagli; basta tirare la tenda per creare un angolo di privacy, e l'attenzione ai dettagli mi ha fatto sentire incredibilmente al sicuro. L'igiene era impeccabile; lenzuola e coperte venivano cambiate dopo ogni ospite, e i bagni e le aree comuni venivano puliti e disinfettati regolarmente ogni giorno, rendendo il mio soggiorno estremamente rassicurante.

La stanza è pulita e igienica, il servizio è molto buono, c'è un piccolo hotel sottostante, cibo molto conveniente, e negozi convenienti, e comprare cose molto conveniente, la stazione di autobus è sul lato della strada, e l'auto è conveniente.

Avevo prenotato una camera doppia per 2 notti e volevo prenotare una camera familiare per le 3 notti successive. Essendo già stato a Urumqi, ho visitato l'hotel e mi è stata mostrata una camera familiare molto bella (1 letto matrimoniale, 1 letto singolo), che avrei potuto avere per 5 giorni. Così ho deciso di aggiungere altre 3 notti. Quando sono arrivato il giorno previsto, le cose erano cambiate. Ora non potevano più offrirmi una camera familiare per i primi 2 giorni, il che è giusto. Ma quello che non è accettabile è che la camera grande che mi era stata promessa e per la quale avevo pagato non fosse più disponibile (”il cliente ha deciso di rimanere un'altra notte”), quindi ho dovuto alloggiare in una piccola camera familiare dove noi e le nostre cose non ci stavamo. Il giorno dopo mi è stato promesso di nuovo che sarei stato spostato in una camera più grande, ma ancora una volta non è stato così. A quel punto, mi sono ammalato di un forte raffreddore e non ho potuto cambiare hotel, e ho persino dovuto prolungare il mio soggiorno di un altro giorno in condizioni difficili a causa del raffreddore. Inoltre, hanno troppo pochi prodotti per la pulizia per un numero così elevato di camere, quindi la pulizia è un problema. In sintesi, non fidatevi mai del direttore di questo hotel, farà tutto ciò che gli conviene, indipendentemente dalle sue promesse precedenti.

Overall, this hotel is a pretty good deal for the price. I only paid around $13 USD for the night, so my expectations were realistic. The complimentary airport shuttle to and from the hotel was definitely appreciated. That being said, it’s pretty obvious the shuttle is shared between multiple hotels, which can lead to long waits. We waited over 30 minutes at the airport before leaving, and then the drive itself took around 20 minutes because we had to stop and pick up more guests. The shuttle vans themselves are also a bit worn down. The room was definitely small, but honestly fine for the price, and I appreciated that it had its own private toilet and shower. The staff were also very kind and even made sure we were awake for our very early shuttle the next morning, which was thoughtful. My biggest complaint would be the pillows—they were genuinely the hardest pillows I’ve ever slept on and gave me a terrible headache. The air circulation/AC also wasn’t great, so the room felt pretty hot overnight. Overall though, for a super budget airport hotel, it does the job.
