Hotel 4 stelle a Suzhou

Ho prenotato l'Anyi Hotel di Suzhou per un amico e il feedback dopo il soggiorno è stato eccellente, l'esperienza complessiva è stata molto soddisfacente. La posizione dell'hotel è davvero ottima, si può raggiungere a piedi la strada Guanqian, e ci sono molti ristoranti e negozi nelle vicinanze, il che è un grande vantaggio per chi visita Suzhou. L'hotel ha un design delle camere intelligente, si può controllare ”Xiao An” con la voce, il che è molto comodo e tecnologico. La camera nel complesso è pulita e confortevole, con un buon senso dello spazio, e ci si sente molto rilassati. Sono arrivato un po' presto quel giorno e ho chiesto alla reception se fosse possibile effettuare il check-in anticipato. Il personale è stato molto gentile e paziente nell'aiutarmi a coordinare e organizzare, e mi ha persino offerto un upgrade di camera, il che ha migliorato notevolmente l'esperienza. Inoltre, il WC intelligente, il letto e i cuscini in camera erano tutti molto comodi, i dettagli erano ben curati, e l'esperienza del soggiorno ha superato le aspettative. Il mio amico ha detto di essere molto soddisfatto, e se tornerà a Suzhou in futuro, considererà di scegliere di nuovo questo posto.

Pros: Amazing location close to Shajiabang. Serene and calming environment. Very fashionable  facilities that are spotless. Very good food. The takeout robots are awesome and when they are over-capacity, the front desk brings you the food Friendly and attentive staff  The fancy hairdryer and the warmed toilet seat was amazing. Shower pressure was impeccable  (but you take these things for granted at 4 star hotels...) TV software is very good, and you can easily stream stuff Cons: No English Signs / No communication with staff. Translation app helps a bit , but there were some misunderstandings and a difficulty to find the hotel lobby as there was no clear signage. Very good intentions though from staff, and you can't expect everyone to speak English. But having at least one person speaking English, as well as having billingual signs everywhere are important to ensuring that foreign guests feel more comfortable without having to always reach for their phone Different understanding of privacy: the housekeeping always knocked despite having Do Not Disturb on. I had to be mindful of them, which kinda stressed me.  2nd floor lake view feels exposed. My room was facing a public walking path into the reserve, and although not much traffic was happening, people could see me. Ideally the windows can be tinted to prevent this. Wifi is slow and not able to meet needs. Limited at around 10 MBPS (without vpn) and always buffered, but was good for basic stuff Bad soundproofing. You can hear what is happening in your neighbors  Constant alarm sound from the door latch. If you open your door while having it on, it makes a very loud alarm sound that is good because it deters crime, but it's annoying to hear it on accident while other people have the same issue. at lots of times Weird floor plans. at 2nd floor where the rooms are, you can get lost very easily. same at first floor which I accidentally went into the restaurant. Smell of smoke coming when AC is off from other rooms. perhaps more smoke detectors can be placed to deter this while fining violators, as well as isolating the AC system per room a bit more...

Durante la nostra visita alla città antica di Zhouzhuang, abbiamo avuto un soggiorno davvero piacevole all'Hotel Mulan Huayue. Il servizio era eccezionale da parte di partenza a finitura. Quando siamo arrivati, il personale è venuto a prendere noi dalla porta d'ingresso e ha aiutato a portare il nostro bagaglio all'hotel, che è stato particolarmente utile, poiché le vecchie strade della città possono essere un po' complicate con i bagagli. Siamo arrivati prima dell'arrivo, e poiché le camere erano pronte, il proprietario ci ha lasciato guardare le camere disponibili e scegliere quella che preferiremmo sulla base della vista. La posizione è anche eccellente, e poiché l'hotel è situato all'interno della città antica stessa, possiamo semplicemente andare fuori e iniziare a esplorare i canali, i ponti e le vie antiche senza bisogno di alcun trasporto aggiuntivo. E'di particolare piacere andare in giro prima della mattina e di notte quando c'erano meno persone. L'hotel ha anche due gatti super carini che erano sempre in attesa e facevano sentire il posto ancora più domestico. Abbiamo provato il ristorante dell'hotel e siamo stati impressionati dal cibo.Il nostro piatto preferito era la carne di seta acida, che era deliziosa e qualcosa che non avevamo mai provato prima. Il cibo era leggermente sul lato salino per il nostro gusto, ma nel complesso ci piaceva tutto quello che avevamo ordinato. Quando era il momento di andare al nostro prossimo hotel a Suzhou, il proprietario ha aiutato a organizzare una macchina per noi (150 RMB). Il conducente era molto informato e condivideva molte informazioni interessanti lungo il percorso, rendendo il viaggio molto più piacevole. Un'altra cosa che ho apprezzato era la attenzione del proprietario, quando usciamo dall'acqua potabile, portava personalmente tre bottiglia in camera nostra senza dover chiedere più volte. In generale, questo era uno dei luoghi dove si può davvero sentire il caldo e l'ospitalità del proprietario. Ha reso il nostro soggiorno a Zhouzhuang molto più memorabile, e non esitarei a rimanere di nuovo qui.

Situato nella zona panoramica di Taohuawu, è vicinissimo al Giardino dell'Amministratore Umile, alla Foresta dei Leoni, a Pingjiang Road, a Qili Shantang e al Museo di Suzhou. Un taxi costa una decina di yuan, ma le bici condivise sono anche più veloci. L'hotel è costruito in stile giardino di Suzhou, molto bello. Le ragazze alla reception, vestite con qipao, sono sorridenti e molto gentili. Accanto all'hotel c'è il mercato del loto e l'antica residenza di Tang Yin.

La posizione è buona. All'inverso di Wanxiang, mangiare e comprare cibo è molto conveniente non lontano dalla stazione meridionale. L'unico viaggio di 15 minuti è che la terra è bassa. Il giorno della pioggia ha sentito che si accumulerà acqua. Non ho ancora trovato, è il sapore di un duplicato del canale di sottomarino nella stanza quel giorno. Ascoltare la gente locale non lo sa, Cinquantamila casa per piattaforma è caduta a metà ora, e sono calmi.Cinque negozi di pane sono stati fatti, ora è questa casa, e il sapore è in generale.Il treno è ancora delizioso.

Attratto dall'arredamento unico della camera, ho cambiato itinerario e sono andato a Zhouzhuang. Il parcheggio n. 2 è a circa 5 minuti a piedi dall'alloggio. La sala da tè dell'alloggio è ricca di dettagli. Ci sono piccoli ponti e acqua corrente, uno studio fotografico di famiglia e una piscina all'aperto (la qualità dell'acqua dimostra l'attenta gestione del proprietario). Il tè Kung Fu e il camino sono perfetti per chiacchierare. Gli articoli da toeletta, come olio di cavallo, polistirolo e spazzolini da denti, dimostrano l'attenzione del proprietario alla qualità (paragonabili a quelli per uso domestico, non volevo buttarli via, quindi li ho portati a casa). La colazione gratuita è servita da Laozaotou sulla strada (girare a sinistra dopo essere usciti dalla porta, accanto al Tempio Taoista di Chengxu). A partire dalle 6 del mattino, è possibile scegliere tra vari snack locali come wonton, xiaolongbao e noodles Aozao. La colazione è deliziosa. P.S.: La proprietaria di Manxingju, Huanmei, è una donna meravigliosa, bella e di buon cuore. È stato un viaggio meraviglioso. Non vedo l'ora di incontrarti di nuovo.

Now, I can sit here and tell you that we’re staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though you’re inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak there’s an international summit going on here. Somehow that won’t speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because they’re always around. In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, “Nǐ hǎo Marsha” from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room. When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of China’s ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldn’t have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture? Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you can’t just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when they’re cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc. Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us. These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.

Ho trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso in questa homestay a 平江路. La posizione è strategica, con facile accesso a numerose attrazioni, negozi e ristoranti, il che rende molto comodo esplorare la zona. L'alloggio era pulito, confortevole e ben tenuto, il che ha reso l'intero soggiorno piacevole e senza intoppi. Ciò che mi ha davvero colpito è stato il servizio eccezionale. Ho dimenticato accidentalmente il mio telefono in un taxi e l'host si è prodigato per aiutarmi. Ha coordinato rapidamente con l'autista e si è occupato di tutto fino alla restituzione del mio telefono. Ho apprezzato molto l'impegno e la premura extra, che hanno reso una situazione stressante molto più semplice. Lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque cerchi un host affidabile e premuroso!

The Citadines Xinghai is well situated in the Suzhou CBD just west of Jinji Lake.  Our stay was brief, as we arrived on an evening flight and just had the one night.  We had a small Studio Suite, which suited us perfectly for a short stay.  If staying longer, I would probably suggest upgrading to a bedroom Suite.  Great view of the nearby high rises from the room.  The hotel is perhaps becoming a bit dated, but still very comfortable and a great location.  The staff was super helpful, friendly and welcoming.  A nice breakfast, as well.  Would certainly recommend Citadines for business travelers.

Stayed at this homestay for 3 nights in July which is peak season for summer domestic travel in China. The rooms are comfortable and had all the amenities you’d expect of a 4 star hotel - comfortable beds, lounging area, balcony, TV, good toiletries, hair dryer. Other positives were very friendly service staff, hearty breakfast from the cafe with is on the same premise. There’s also local restaurants nearby to dine at which are not bad, just 5-10 mins walk down the road. I also enjoyed waking up to run across the bridge which has a great sunrise view. A lot of tourists visit the cafe for the sunset views. The hotel staff can do room service and bring food ordered from the cafe to your room if requested. Note though that location wise it is not as close to other cafes and stuff. You’ll need to travel a fair bit if you want to venture and do other things. I wanted a peaceful retreat with a good view but nearer to mainland (compared to the main 西山岛） so this worked for me. I stayed in 3 different rooms (Rm 1,4,5) for my 3 nights as I had asked for a room with a view but was initially assigned one that was completely blocked by trees. In trying to accommodate my request I ended up having different rooms (to no fault of the staff and property) each night. There are 8 ‘normal rooms’ and one suite room that is round and more suited for honeymoon/romantic occasions. Rooms 3,4,5,6 are the ones with the better view. Room 1 (my first room) has a completely blocked view which is a waste staying by the lake. Rooms 4 and 5 have the best view. Note also that rm 1 and 4 have a skylight that cannot be blocked so by 5 am your room is gonna be bright although they do give you eye shades to help. There is also no laundry facilities on site. Only additional feedback to the property would be that they could consider a discount for guests to dine at the cafe, that could encourage guests to have more meals there. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this for anyone looking for an escape for the buzz and want a tranquil place to rest!
