MM231470****Questo è il B&B più soddisfacente in cui abbia mai soggiornato: 1. L'hotel è incredibilmente pulito e tranquillo, con servizi e comfort persino migliori di molti hotel a quattro e cinque stelle. Ad esempio, il materasso, la trapunta, i cuscini e la biancheria da letto sono eccellenti. I servizi igienici sono di prima qualità, con un soffione doccia super comodo e grande che riscalda l'acqua all'istante. L'asciugacapelli è un Dyson e il WC è un Kohler elettrico. C'è anche uno Xiaodu, tende elettriche e aria condizionata centralizzata automatica. 2. Il servizio è attento e di prima qualità: trasferimenti gratuiti sui treni ad alta velocità, una ricca colazione con deliziosi mais, zucca e igname e succo di anguria appena spremuto. I noodles di frattaglie di montone e i noodles di maiale brasato sono paragonabili a quelli dei ristoranti. Anche la frutta di benvenuto è eccellente e ogni mattina dopo la colazione viene servito cibo caldo. La sorella maggiore e il bel ragazzo si sono alternati nel portarci acqua e delizioso pane fatto in casa, e ci hanno persino regalato souvenir tipici dello Shanxi. Quando siamo partiti per il treno ad alta velocità delle 21:00, ci hanno chiesto ripetutamente dove fossimo e si sono offerti di accompagnarci alla stazione. È stato incredibilmente gentile. 3. L'hotel è molto vicino a diverse attrazioni della città antica, rendendo gli spostamenti molto comodi. Datong ha tantissime attrazioni turistiche: le Grotte di Yungang, il Tempio Huayan, il Tempio Shanhua, il Museo di Datong, la mostra dei fiori di ferro, patrimonio culturale immateriale, e la mostra Ru Meng Datong sono tutte tappe imperdibili. Consiglio vivamente la deliziosa cucina di Datong, tra cui Xijindao, 369 grani di argilla viola, Fenglinge e noodles di interiora di montone. L'ospitalità semplice e genuina della gente dello Shanxi si rifletteva appieno, e mi sentivo come a casa. Il proprietario non ha mai chiesto una recensione; è così pratico che, anche se raramente recensisco gli hotel, mi sento in dovere di farne una. Ci tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglierò ad amici e parenti.

UUtente ospiteThis hotel combines the convenience of modern high tech with the spiritual beauty of traditional culture. The rooms themselves are constructed around courtyards that give a sense of what life might have been like in Datong many centuries ago. In the lobby and in the rooms, murals decorate the walls with elegant designs of birds or flowers. The cabinets, bench, and floors made of wood and the countertops made of marble work together well and draw on design choices that are classicly, universally appealing. At the same time, the entire room is wired with the amenties of modernity. The toilet has a seat warmer and a light that turns on when you lift the lid so that you can find it in the middle of the night. Similarly, there seem to be motion-sensitive lights throughout the room that light up when you walk in the middle of the night so that you can find your way around. The water in the shower and the bathtub is able to get very hot (which I love!) and has high pressure. There is also a top-of-the-line hair dryer. It's the perfect blend of high tech and traditional amenities! If I have one complaint it's that the room was so hot that I had to open my window to let in the freezing air, and still the room was hot! That shows how effective the heating system is! The serivce at the hotel is also extraordinary! All the members of hotel reception are very friendly. And they send someone to your room shortly after you settle in to give you a platter of fruit, which was fresh and seasonal and artistically chosen it seems. They also have 24 hours service in case you need anything. My friend went into the lobby early in the morning shouting about coffee, and the staff came out quickly to make him a cup. The hotel is also very clean. The blankets, the pillows, and the sheets are as white as snow. The floors are free of dust and dirt and smudges. Everything in the shower and toilet room was scrubbed clean too. And the shower drains smoothly without pooling any water, showing how well it is maintained. Finally, the location is very convenient. You can see that for yourself by just looking at the map. But I would like to add that just outside the gate of the hotel, you can see the Prince's palace, which is beautifully lit at night. What's more, my favorite restaurant in downtown Datong (I think the restaurant is translated as BeiWei Family Garden or something like that) is less than 5 minutes walking from the gate. There are also multiple shops for buying vinegar or wine or shaji snacks. In less than 10 minutes, you can also walk to all the major commercial streets. I love the location of this hotel!

UUtente ospiteWe took a 23-day trip through China, staying in 9 different hotels. Without hesitation, I can say that our stay at Floral stood out in many ways. First, the hotel's structure is very beautiful and has been renovated while staying true to the traditional style of the region. The hotel room itself was probably the most beautiful we had seen on our entire trip: spacious, with windows that actually opened, good air conditioning, and modern decor and furniture without being over the top. Second, the hotel's location is within the boundaries of the city wall and is part of the old town, so beautiful to walk around and see the traditional houses - many of them renovated according to the traditional style. And third and most importantly, the kindness of the people who work at the hotel. I have never felt so welcome anywhere on holiday as at this place. Unfortunately, I arrived with health problems and needed antibiotics - equivalents of the ones I had brought from Europe. I asked the reception where I could find the closest pharmacy, but rather than guiding me there, Xiao Liu, the lady at the reception, figured out for me which antibiotic would be the right one and got it for me. The same when we needed a suitcase, rather than sending me to the shop she inquired about our desired suitcase and in one hour it was there. Drinks are complementary at any time of the day, and the breakfast (Chinese and international - sandwiches) was generous and unlimited. When we were running late coming back from the grottoes and needed to catch a train, Xiao Liu helped us out by bringing us all our suitcases directly to the train station. We will never forget all these acts of kindness and we are still grateful to her and the entire hotel staff for making us feel so much at home. Datong will stay in our minds and hearts forever thanks to the people of the Floral hotel. Datong is special enough for all the incredible cultural sights you can visit - but our stay there will never be forgotten thanks to the beauty of the Floral Hotel and its amazing people. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to assist with any questions we had throughout our stay—her hospitality truly elevated our experience. The hotel itself is a charming blend of coziness and comfort. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with a wonderful atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. The entire property exudes warmth and character, offering a peaceful retreat in the heart of Datong. One of the best aspects of the Tangfang Courtyard is its location. It’s perfectly situated for exploring the old city, with many attractions within walking distance. We enjoyed wandering through the narrow streets and discovering the rich history of the area. Another highlight was the fresh breakfast offered each morning. It was a lovely way to start the day, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. Overall, our stay was nothing short of fantastic, and I would highly recommend Tangfang Courtyard to anyone visiting Datong.
