Hotel 3 stelle a Cardiff

Location to public transport and local attractions was convenient. The accommodation was comfortable but it would have been better if there was a floor plan where the rooms are located as only 3 rooms were on the main floor and the others were accessible via stairs, which are narrow. Our room was outside the main house in the back. If you are travelling with lots of luggage or big, heavy suitcases, be mindful that there are no lifts. Housekeeping was a bit disappointing. Modern fittings and energy saving features were a plus.

A soli 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale di Cardiff e da High Street. La posizione è molto comoda. Ci sono molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze, la maggior parte dei quali aperti fino alle 22:00. La camera è spaziosa, in buone condizioni e con una splendida vista sulla città. Il materasso e i cuscini erano comodi. Il personale è stato cordiale e cortese. Ho soggiornato per due notti e mi sono trovata benissimo!

Mi è piaciuto il mio soggiorno in generale. La posizione era fantastica, in una bella strada, e l'edificio dell'hotel stesso è stupenda. Quando sono arrivato, sono stato caldamente accolto da un gentiluomo italiano, che mi ha dato una grande prima impressione. La mia stanza, pur situata in una zona separata, era pulita, moderna e ben decorata, tutto sembrava fresco e ben pensato. Tuttavia, mi sono deluso di trovare tinture visibili sulle lastre da letto. Anche se credo che fossero state lavate, le tinture non erano uscite e le lastre erano ancora state utilizzate, che non corrispondevano al livello elevato del resto dell’hotel presentato. Credo che avrebbero dovuto sostituirli. Un altro piccolo inconveniente è stato la luce del bagno, che è stata automatica e ha scatenato il fan dell'estrattori. Ciò significava che anche durante la notte, utilizzando il bagno, il fan rumoroso si fermò per un po’, che poteva essere evitato con un cambio manuale di luce, a mio parere. Nonostante queste questioni, il soggiorno è stato in gran parte molto positivo, ma non posso dare un completo cinque stelle a causa delle foglie. Spero che questo possa essere migliorato per i futuri ospiti.

La decisione di rimanere a Cardiff è in posizione ideale e il prezzo ragionevole. Il personale alla reception/bar non poteva essere più utile quando ho combattuto con il check in unità! La stanza era buona, tranquilla e con tutto quello che avevo bisogno. Domenica sera, ma il ristorante era ancora aperto, così ci sono sempre deliziosi pasti e colazione la mattina dopo.

È un buon hotel, una piscina di buona dimensione e hanno sia stanza a vapore che sauna, tuttavia, sono stati due volte in settimana e entrambi molto occupato. I check-in che perdono il contatto personale mi sento e non troppo felice pagato in più per il parcheggio che dà la posizione dell'hotel. Grande servizio nel ristorante.

This was a lovely room! Didn't have its own bathroom which I wasn't expecting but I think that's just me not really reading the listing! The person who checked me in was lovely and the room was warm and decorated nicely. Thanks!

Stayed at this hotel for five days the beds was very comfortable. Rooms are very clean. Waitrose and Lidl‘s two minute walk regular buses into Cardiff. Breakfast available at the hotel. Staff are absolutely lovely and always ready to help. She’s a very friendly hotel with country walks nearby rooms have bath with a shower always hot water available me and my husband had a very comfortable pleasant stay well definitely return the hotel is more of a motel but would not hesitate recommending as you have everything you need the rooms are basic but do you have a kettle tea and coffee supplied clean towels extremely comfortable bed and the rooms are clean staff are very welcoming and friendly

I had asked if I could store my luggage a couple of hours before checking in. I cannot recall getting a confirmation of this, which would have notified me that there would be a charge of £5, which the receptionist informed me of when I arrived. Had I have known I would have made other arrangements and not wasted the journey and been inconvenienced. When I arrived a guest was complaining about how warm the rooms were and that the fans provided due nothing and that it was a possible health threat. I pointed out that there was a note on my booking about air conditioning being out of action or words to that effect but in theory, why is this not pointed out before the booking is made? It seems like you want the money and then expect us to jump though the hoops of trying to get a refund from the hotel and washing your hands of the situation as I found when I rang Trip.com - it should be a human right to have decent ventilation but with the hurdles you set in motion, it might be seen that you rely on people giving in and giving up to getting a refund on those grounds and so I did you a favour and stuck with it, fearing the worse for when I checked in later that evening. It could have been a lot better and it could have been worse. The general toilet and area on floor 2 was disgusting and had no toilet paper and seemed not to have been monitored regularly, when I went to use it after checking out. I’m amazed that there is a higher price tag shown to show the saving  on these rooms, in my estimation the lower price I paid should have been the higher price. The standards were so much better when it was The Big Sleep Hotel. *************
