UUtente ospiteTHIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE HAVE STAYED AT ”THE HOTEL INDIGO” & IT WILL DEFINATLY NOT BE THE LAST! WE CANNOT FIND ANY FAULTS WITH THIS HOTEL AT ALL. THE STAFF ARE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY & GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BE HELFUL. EVERYWHERE IS SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, EVEN THE SHOWER GEL SMELLS REALLY NICE! THE BREAKFAST IS THE BEST IN CARDIFF, AS FAR AS WE ARE CONCERNED, SO MUCH CHOICE, & ITS ALL LOVELY, DON'T KNOW HOW THEY DO IT. THE CENTRAL LOCATION IS SUPERB FOR ALL ATTRACTIONS & PUBLIC TRANSPORT LINKS. THANKS FOR A PERFECT BANK HOLIDAY BREAK, SEE YOU AGAIN VERY SOON 😊

UUtente ospiteL'hotel si trova in una zona molto bella dove è facile ottenere un taxi o camminare ovunque nella città.
Tuttavia, il segnale mobile era piuttosto debole, e l'hotel Wi-Fi non si è collegato - ho dovuto tornare a casa ogni volta, che era piuttosto scomodo quando ho cercato di lavorare.
La stanza aveva un forte odore di gomma o di cuoio, che mi faceva sentire malato e mi fece male per tutta la mia permanenza.
Il depuratore del bagno non funzionava bene - nessun altro buco di depurazione nel bagno, e alla fine è sopravvenuto. Ho dovuto chiamare la squadra di manutenzione per ripararlo.
Dopo aver dormito sul letto per un po’, ho notato le patch rosse, prurito sul mio viso, quasi come morsi di insetti; poi ho scoperto che il detergente forte usato per lavare il letto può a volte causare irritazione cutanea. Quella notte, ho dormito con una tovagliola pulita sopra il bastone e ho chiesto un letto fresco il giorno dopo. Anche se il mio compagno non aveva problemi, avrei consigliato a chiunque con la pelle sensibile di coprire il bastone con una tovagliola pulita solo in caso.
In generale, i servizi offerti dall'hotel non erano cattivi, ma la condizione della camera e la fiducia del Wi-Fi sicuramente hanno bisogno di miglioramenti.

Tthe travelling brummieBest hotel I've been to so far all the staff day/night was well mannered happy helpful joyful staff from reception to dinning down to the cleaners all have above and beyond with my stay from the moment I arrived made me feel equal as im disabled the lift access was easy to use helpful with my luggage straight away no waiting around reception was brilliant excellent communication got my room card really quickly no waiting around 3 lifts so plenty of access to floors my room was beautiful spacious easy access with quick card entrance with electric door just swap and the door opens for you with one press button to exit bathroom has all disabled access toilet bars shower seat with arm rests your able to move from side to side which helps getting to dry floor food was amazing from breakfast buffet massive selection you got to try the mixed fruit juices red and green flavour explosion have your great British fry up with a croissant and cappuccino for afters even had reserved table with easy access with out asking help with service if you want your breakfast brought too your room i highly recommend you stay in the Leonardo hotel for best stay on what ever your needs great tourist's while on your stay you have to visit the castle

Order their specials better, however, this time my poached eggs were not soft. Excellent wine and excellent bar lunch which they allowed us to eat in the restaurant which was a bonus. I love this location. Walks through the wetlands and to Penarth and easy links to Barry Island. Spa brilliant and the quiet area next to the gym brilliant for reading

Didn’t get the room type booked but managed for 2 nights.
Agent at checkin took several minutes before acknowledging me in the queue. I would have been happy being told ”I’ll be with you in a few minutes” instead of being ignored whilst he chatted with his colleague about what seemed to be an issue. I believe because he was distracted, we weren’t given any hotel information - i.e. location of lifts, breakfast time etc. which is standard.
Breakfast service wasn’t great the first morning. Second morning was much better. I think it’s because we arrived at approx. 10:30 on the first day and the team was ready to go as I could hear them counting down the minutes to the end of their shift. No hot drinks offered; told drinks were on the buffet when in fact they needed to be ordered. Drinks eventually brought on asking again, but no cups. Had to ask for them.
Quite noisy at night because of all the bars and restaurants outside, which meant the window couldn’t be left open, as the room was quite warm, despite adjusting the temperature of the HVAC system.
Very nice, modern hotel, could improve with better staff training.

OOnTheRoamAgainWe had a few issues leading up to the booking with Trip booking us 2 rooms by mistake but it was no problem to sort out with the hotel; they could see it was a duplicate and it was sorted. The hotel were very good at replying to emails and phone calls too.
When we arrived (late at night) reception was manned and they were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights and loved the location as it was just off a main road that we could take to drive into Cardiff or to Newport easily. But not close enough to the road to be bothered by road noise. There is also a very nice pub on site - we didn’t make it to eat there but it was lovely to have a few drinks.

AAniwithluiSono rimasto qui per un viaggio d'affari per una settimana. La stanza sembrava pulita, ma è così buio che non si può dire se è pulita o no. Questo è in realtà un problema - la luce è cattiva. Non potevo lavorare in camera perché aveva solo un'illuminazione gialla e non una normale fonte principale di luce. Il bagno può essere leggermente freddo se non lasciate la porta aperta in modo che l'aria calda dall'A/C possa entrare. È vergognoso che non abbiano un colazione incluso, soprattutto per lunghi soggiorni in hotel che non è così economico e fuori dal centro... almeno un piccolo sandwich renderebbe le cose migliori, ma no 👎🏼. Un'altra cosa è che la zona non è molto bello. A meno che non devi fare qualcosa in quella zona, non ti consiglio di rimanere. Mi hanno anche detto ai conducenti di taxi di non camminare da soli dopo che si è scuri. Prima di sapere che andava, mi sentivo un po' insafe. Il personale era a posto, non ho avuto molto contatto con loro. Solo quando sono arrivato c'era un incidente - non mi hanno trovato nel loro sistema (è stato prenotato con un altro nome per errore, ma ho cambiato la sua denominazione una settimana prima dell'arrivo, quindi non so perché non abbiano aggiornato le informazioni). C'è una piccola palestra, ma quasi tutte le macchine, tranne una, sono per gli esercizi cardio. Quasi nessun ristorante o negozi nella zona.

Sadly the room was not up to standard,
Really disappointed with the bathroom, silverfish in the sink and bath, shower was unusable due to clogged trains, beds were clean. Room included iron and board alongside other little amenities.
General hygiene of the hotel was great, downstairs was beautiful, although we didn’t eat/ drink from the bar and restaurant it did look very nice.
View was beautiful but would’ve been nicer if the windows were clean and hairless.
