The Host Delivers: Within minutes of our arrival, we were served Fenghuang’s “Duck Dung Fragrance” dancong tea while the owner explained how to brew it properly and distinguish between Phoenix tea cultivars. That session came with a concise history of the ancient mansion’s architecture and spot-on recommendations for local delicacies and lesser-known sights. This isn’t performative hospitality—it’s practical knowledge sharing by a respected local expert. How to Make the Most of It: Embrace the tea culture. The in-room tea setup and host’s guidance transform a simple amenity into a genuine cultural immersion. Trust the gear. Run the dehumidifier and air purifier without hesitation—they’re there because they work. Ask about the alleyway. We had a truly lovely stay at this Airbnb. The place has a spectacular view that made every morning and evening a joy — whether it was watching the sunrise or simply relaxing with the scenery, it added something really special to our time there. The host is incredibly friendly, warm, and approachable. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed. They were always happy to share recommendations for good food around the area, and their local tips helped us discover some really great places we might otherwise have missed. One of the most memorable parts of our stay was spending time with the host over tea, singing together, and chatting in the Teochew dialect. It was such a unique and heartfelt experience that made the stay feel much more personal and meaningful, like staying with family rather than just in an Airbnb. The location is also very convenient and accessible, with many good food options nearby, so it was easy to get around and enjoy the neighborhood without any hassle. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and we would happily come back again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, comfortable, and memorable stay with a great view and a lovely host.

Mio marito e io siamo rimasti qui per tre notti, era un po' preoccupato perché abbiamo sentito che molti hotel in Cina non accettano stranieri anche se avete prenotato online in anticipo ma non avete problemi qui! La coppia che gestisce il posto è molto calda e amichevole. L'hotel è ben decorato con un giardino interno scenico e una zona di tetto. La camera era confortevole e aveva un aria condizionata. Viene anche dotato di un set di tè gongfu e un po' di tè locale. La posizione è grande, meno di cinque minuti a piedi dalla strada Pai Fang, ma su una strada tranquilla laterale senza molto rumore di traffico. Poiché è nella zona pedonale, il posto migliore per prendere e lasciare è Xia Shui Gate - è solo a pochi passi da lì, molto gestibile anche con bagagli. Abbiamo davvero goduto il nostro tempo qui e saremmo sicuramente rimasti qui in qualsiasi futuro viaggio a Chaozhou! Mi piace particolarmente soggiornare in un vicolo tranquillo, ma allo stesso tempo con il vicolo principale, pieno di negozi locali che vendono prodotti e snack, proprio dietro l'angolo. La gente del posto vive e fa la spesa in questa parte meno turistica del centro storico. Grazie al signor Su per avermi assegnato una camera più grande quando era disponibile il giorno dopo. La pressione dell'acqua al terzo piano è forte e l'acqua calda è abbondante. Anche il WC con scarico automatico e scalda-sedile è stato utile. Anche l'aria condizionata è abbastanza potente da raffreddare rapidamente la stanza. Gli asciugamani monouso per il viso e per la doccia forniti sono sottili. Chi non è abituato a usare asciugamani monouso, può portare i propri.

Molto amichevole e benvenuto dalle signore anziane e gentiluomo che manda il desk front. La stanza e pulito e recentemente ristrutturato. Nota che solo le tovaglie di smaltimento sono fornite. La posizione è eccellente, nel cuore della zona turistica, passi lontano dalla strada Paifang. Per trovare questo boutique, andare all'edificio iconico e guardare il segno di attacco (cfr. foto allegato). L'intera zona turistica è fuoribordo ai veicoli, quindi si può fermare fuori e camminare lì.

Amazing place! The host was brilliant. The kids loved their room. Beds weee very comfortable. We had a little problem with one of the room, but was solved straight away. They have an area were we can all Hang out which was lovely. It was easy ti find and once walk out you are on the Main Street with loads of food and shops ! Would stay here again xx

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel perché è vicino alla stazione Chaoshan. Camminare all'hotel dalla stazione del treno ci sono voluti circa 17 minuti. Abbiamo notato più tardi che forniscono trasporto alla stazione del treno e da essa. Ci sono molti cibi vicino. Il servizio di ricezione front desk è accettabile. La pulizia della stanza è media.

The overall stay was very pleasant—the room was clean and comfortable, with everything well maintained. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the front desk staff 小东was friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. With its unbeatable location and great service, this hotel is an ideal choice for travelers visiting the area. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to friends.
