1) Location is superb. Right smack in the ancient city and 50m from the landmark guangji gate. You can walk everywhere to do your visits and taste street food & other gourmets . You can even get on a trishaw & do a slow sightseeing of the city among the interesting streets outside the non-traffic square 2) hotel is new about 6 months old. Clean and full amenities . The bed is comfortable and good. We are not familiar with the light switches so had trouble switching to dim lights at night 3) there’s a lift and a laundry area downstairs 4) service is perfect . Our room came with breakfast. Breakfast is simple and fresh and wholesome . Well in chaozhou you probably wanna skip to eat the yummy snacks on the street. We had breakfast for 2 days. On the last day we skipped. We slept in till breakfast time was over. We had bought a rice dumpling and a rice snack the day before. We requested for them to heat up. They went beyond our expectations. Not only heat up, but gave us fresh fruits all serve properly on a tray like room service. Thank you 5) we booked a one bedroom suite on level 2. Ceilings are high. Room is airy. Soundproofing is good. Once the windows are closed. There’s minimal noise from street outside. By night 10pm it’s quiet . Morning noises only start around 9am plus from tourists foot traffic 6) Tip- as traffic are not allowed on that street. The nearest point is to get off at the Xia shui men (下水门） gate and enter the gate. From there you walk about 100-150m on flat well-tiled surfaces to the hotel 7) hope the hotel maintains their cleanliness & newness moving forward . Will definitely stay there again when in chaozhou

The inn was very traditional on the outside, but really modern in the rooms. The outside of the inn is perfect for travelers who like to take photos. The cleanliness of the room was very good; not a spot of dirt was to seen. The location of the inn is very convenient. We have easy access to a lot of tourist attractions nearby, along with a wide variety of traditional delicacies to choose from. The rooms at the inn was also very quiet. For those light sleepers, you will not get any disturbance when sleeping as we can’t hear a sound when sleeping. Neither the sound of the motorbike nor the shouting of people can be heard. Apart from that, the host was very friendly he happily pointed out different tourist attractions nearby and how to get to and fro easily. He also poured us cups of tea while talking about China’s history. Those who are interested in that, you could ask the host to tell you about China’s history and he would be happy to tell you all about it! Overall the experience was very good and I will definitely come back when I go to China next time!

Location of hotel is near to Chaozhou stone arch pedestrian street and the Guanji bridge area. Both are a short walk away. The hotel is a beautifully restored ancient mansion. It's layout of buildings, courtyards and gardens within the mansion compound all come together to make the guest feel calm and peaceful. You will staying at this gem. Stayed in November 2025.

The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There are several restaurants within walking distance, making dining very convenient. We highly recommend the crab porridge and oyster omelette at the restaurant located at No. 2 at the end of the road — they open from 5pm onwards . There are also two clean and hygienic ear-picking shops with monitors just around the corner, near the opposite junction. Overall, we had a great trip and truly enjoyed our stay.

La mia camera si sentiva fresca, temperata e invitante, con i tocchi pensieri che mostravano la cura e l'attenzione che si mettevano in guardia quotidiana. La squadra di custodia ha fatto un lavoro straordinario, e ho apprezzato la loro rapidità e coerenza nel corso del mio soggiorno. La posizione è anche un grande evidenziamento – convenientemente situato vicino alle attrazioni chiave situati all'interno della città vecchia di Chaozhou, opzioni di cena, ma abbastanza tranquillo per un riposo di notte. L'hotel è situato all'interno della vecchia città, forse è necessario andare sulla strada principale per didi. Grazie a tutta la squadra per la loro dedizione e gentilezza. Non esitarei a raccomandare questo hotel a nessuno che visita la zona e mi aspetto di tornare in futuro.

Excellent location for exploring the old town. Our rooms were generally ok, except that there was an smell in my bathroom, which I believe is from the drainpipe. Bed was very comfortable and amenities were good. Free soft drinks in the fridge was nice. The tea in the room was good too. Breakfast area was a makeshift space and couldn't cope with the guest numbers. The food was ok. Service at the reception was very helpful.

Amazing place! The host was brilliant. The kids loved their room. Beds weee very comfortable. We had a little problem with one of the room, but was solved straight away. They have an area were we can all Hang out which was lovely. It was easy ti find and once walk out you are on the Main Street with loads of food and shops ! Would stay here again xx

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was very good. We requested a non-smoking room, and the room we received did not have any cigarette smell. There were non-smoking signs in the lobby, but we did noticed some guests smoking in the lobby. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
