What a wonderful place to stay! It’s my honeymoon trip and it’s the last stop in Switzerland, and when the hotel noticed that it’s our honeymoon trip and it temporarily prepared the special room for us! It’s an amazing experience over there! Thank you a lot!

We enjoyed a calm, chill atmosphere at the Matterhorn Hotel. The staff were warm and attentive, making check‑in and recommendations easy. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh local specialties that set a great tone for the day. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10–15 minute walk from the train station, though note there’s an uphill slope on the approach to the apartment. Inside the building there is an elevator, so accessing rooms is straightforward and you don’t need to carry the luggage using staircase. Ideal for travelers who want a relaxed base, friendly service, and an authentic local breakfast. Love this hotel very much and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property. extremely well-designed suites. Very friendly personnel. Excellent location for the Matterhorn view. The room was tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed, excellent house cleaning services. Provide personal skincare product, especially the sheep soap that I love it ! Breakfast was also excellent. I’d want to go there again ! :)

Questo è un buon posto per godere di Zhalmat. All'interno è molto carino e caldo in generale, posso sperimentare un'esperienza straordinaria che il Giappone non può sperimentare. La stanza è abbastanza grande per passare un tempo facile. Quando sono andato sul balcone, sono felice di sentire l'aria pulita di Tsermat.Non è una stanza che può fare il paesaggio, ma è buona per uscire. Penso che sia solo un bagno piccolo, ma entro i limiti consentiti, perche'ho solo lavato un bagno. Sono felice di avere acqua, birra, bevande acido solforico e così via nel frigo della stanza.Penso che sia un servizio di alta qualità in Svizzera e costoso. Il cioccolato di Linz come dolce benvenuto è anche un buon servizio per me per sentire l'unica natura svizzera. La colazione è anche una tipica colazione occidentale, ma i componenti di frutta e formaggio sono buoni, semplice ma deliziosi. Per quanto riguarda la persona, il pane di angolo è molto delizioso.♡ Inoltre, cioccolato caldo e caffè Cabucino fatto quando si ordinano sono anche deliziosi. Quando si lascia, è molto utile essere in grado di salire e uscire dalla stazione. Il personale ha anche un'atmosfera amichevole, che è una vacanza felice.

Posizione – 10/10 Nestled alto sopra Zermatt, il Riffelhaus 1853 è accessibile attraverso la ferrovia Gornergrat, rendendo il viaggio stesso un'avventura. Le letti sono confortevoli e la decorazione in legno rustica offre un caldo e accogliente senso. Alcuni camere hanno balconi, che consiglio molto di prenotare per tutta l'esperienza. Servizio – 9/10 Il personale è amichevole, professionale e attento.Nonostante la posizione remota dell'hotel, il servizio è top-notch, con il personale che si allontana dalla loro strada per accogliere richieste speciali. Da un check-in senza saldatura a consigli locali utili, rendeno il soggiorno ancora più speciale. Mangiare – 8.5/10 Il ristorante sul posto serve cucina svizzera deliziosa, tra cui pranzi tradizionali come fondue e rosti. Il colazione è generoso, con pane fresco, formaggi, carne e uova cucinate per ordinare. L'unico svantaggio è che, a causa della posizione remota, le opzioni di mangiare sono limitate al ristorante dell'hotel, ma la qualità lo rende più importante. Benessere e Spa – 10/10 Il tubo caldo all'aperto con vista sul Matterhorn è un'evidenza assoluta! È anche una sauna e un bagno a vapore, perfetto dopo un giorno di sci o di cammino. Soaping in acqua calda mentre circondato da piccoli piccoli coperti di neve è un'esperienza di ogni penny. Attività – 10/10 Inverno: Perfetto per lo sci, come l'hotel è direttamente sulle corse, la sala sci è conveniente e l'accesso alla zona sciistica Gornergrat è invincibile. Vertice: incredibile percorsi di cammino con accesso diretto alla Gornergratbahn per escursioni facili ad alte altezze.

We love the hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. The view from the balcony of our room gave us a clear view of the Matterhorn. The hotel is easily accessible from the Zermatt train station and the Town centre . We loved the room allocated and found it extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast buffet which was pretty extensive. Staff was really pleasant and helpful at all time. Our receptionist even escorted us to the room by stairs because their lift was not functional when we checked in. The only regret was that we were unable to utilise the sauna and swimming pool facilities due to time constraints. Will highly recommend the hotel to those who are looking for value for money stays whilst in Zermatt.

Booked a family room for 3 adults and 1 child. Service at front counter is excellent! Courteous, friendly and informative. Also we got upgraded! Room is clean and spacious and has a balcony. On going renovation next door during our stay in Oct 2024. Resort has 2 restaurant at the hotel but one apparently requires reservation and has seating time. We were famished when arrived at the restaurant at 8pm, but were told to come back at 830pm for second seating. Such a disappointment when the front counter service was excellent. Had dinner at the pub instead, food wasn’t too bad. Spa facilities was great. Would stay at the same Ola e again. Value for money

The room and staff were first class. Baggage storage, completed check in so we could easily get keys when we returned from day out. The breakfast was very nice. They upgraded our room. Wished we could of enjoyed the place longer than the 1 night.
