Hotel in zona Palawan Beach, Singapore

Disappointing. Reached the hotel around 315PM, there was a long queue for check-in, waited till 410PM before I was served for check-in. Waiting one hour in queue just to check-in was really a shocker to me for a 5 star hotel standard and please do not place an intern in charge of the queue if they have to go back and forth to check with the Duty Managers for every enquiry they encounter. It just makes the wait even more unpleasant. Hotel is clearly short-handed and staff were pushing for guests to accept twin beds room because the king beds are not ready. I am usually okay with it but this hotel charges more for the king beds even though it's the same tier as the twin beds so I don't think this is acceptable and insisted on a king bed. Witnessed two guests lodging a complaint during my stay which explains the hospitality level of this hotel. Trip Diamond members are offered a platter of fruits as stated in the booking but there were none in the room. Had to request it from the room service and came back to just two apples served on a plate. The elderly staffs at the concierge are friendly but FOH and the rest can do better. Staffs will walk past you without a nod or a smile which is shocking for a 5 star hotel/resort. Had a reservation for the Vday buffet and the food selection was mediocre and the crabs were mushy. Price of the buffet did not justify the selection, Westin's Seasonal Tastes is a better option at a lower price. The hot water for the shower did not work on check-out day and we had to shower in the cold water. Minibar only provided 2 Nescafé capsules and some TWG tea, the fridge was empty with no other beverages or snacks available. Bed was amazing and comfortable but the bathtub can be upkeep better. Fish spa was fun but you can see mosquitos breeding on the water surface. Pool area was filled with children so couples might want to reconsider. Was given a later check-out timing upon request which was a nice gesture. Overall experience was a shocking disappointment as I expected a better experience just like other 5 star hotels. So glad that I did not pay the original price for this stay and got a last minute deal with breakfast included. Else, this will be a 0 star experience.

La camera familiare è molto compatta, non c'è molto spazio, mi aspettavo che fosse installato un water con vasca da bagno, ma entrambe erano docce in piedi. La camera era dotata di colazione per gli adulti, ma costi aggiuntivi per i bambini, alcuni hotel rinuncerebbero a questa opzione visto che i bambini non mangiano molto.

The hotel reception was very good at accommodating my special request of getting the room set up with balloons and stuff to celebrate our 19th Wedding Anniversary. They liased with me over email and made sure that the room was set up. The personal touch of a delicious brownie and a card to wish us on the day, was also extraordinary. They also helped us to check in an hour earlier because I needed to have a makeup artist come in at 2:30 to prepare me for a photoshoot at 5. We loved how they gave us the snack basket to choose 5 snacks before we went to our hotel room. The sky pool is an amazing experience and just a great way to relax with very little noise or distractions. The options on the island are fantastic. A lot to do. Food at the restaurant on the island was very, very expensive, however it was exceptionally delicious! So definitely worth the price. The breakfast buffet definitely does need attention. There wasn’t a big variety of options and the food didn’t taste good. I found myself mostly eating fruit the 2 mornings we were there. Another huge problem is that the restaurant used for the breakfast is very small in size, so the place does get very busy and you will be asked to choose a 45 minute slot to eat. I felt that it was too rushed and unlike any other breakfast buffet I’ve ever had.

It was a short one night staycation with friends. We had intended to go to the Grill fest but were fettered by the incessant rain. Glad that we found the Japanese restaurant for a delicious dinner near The Mess and the rather pleasantly decorated Quentin with outdoor seating for desserts. The room was a nice size, although we would have appreciated another chair or sofa. The hotel is nicely located near the monorail, the Imbiah lookout and also Siloso and Tanjong beach. It is very convenient. It also offers yoga sessions every morning with towel, May and water thoughtfully provided. A nice stay overall.

In primo luogo, la posizione è la ragione per cui ho scelto questo hotel; ovviamente, il complimentare mini bar e regali per bambini sono il bonus. La piscina è stata grande e accogliente, la posizione per 3 principali attrazioni è molto vicina (tutto a meno di 10 minuti a piedi dal nostro hotel) e il monotreno è anche a meno di 10 minuti a piedi, la prossima stazione è Vivocity che viaggia meno di 10 minuti con un sacco di tutto per passare il vostro giorno. Tuttavia, mancano le opzioni alimentari vicino a Hotel Michael, soprattutto pochi ristoranti disponibili dopo le 20:00 è un boomer (siamo stati stanchi e fame dopo aver lasciato il Universal Studio, che si chiude alle 20:00): nessuna corte alimentare, nessun contenitore cibo, Solo pochi ristoranti decenti sono ancora aperti. Una delle mie peggiori sensazioni è che anche noi vogliamo andare alla Vivocity per il cibo, la coda a 20:15 era come un chilometro di tempo che ci ha fatto fuori di più opzioni. (un'altra cosa: il lobby puzza come un miscuglio di fogna con profumo il secondo giorno (agosto 1), quando siamo arrivati prima era completamente normale. Grazie.

L'hotel è stato ristrutturato l'anno scorso e le attrezzature sono nuovissime. È fantastico soggiornarci. Il minibar è piccolo ma gratuito. Uno degli hotel più vicini agli Universal Studios. Perfetto per noi che giochiamo principalmente a Resorts World. consiglio!

Ho prenotato questo per un divertente soggiorno con mio figlio di 5 anni. Leggi le recensioni che la piscina ha uno scivolo, il che è stato molto divertente! Ha occupato molto del suo tempo e la piscina è relativamente pulita ed enorme. Consiglio vivamente alle famiglie di prenotare Siloso Beach Resort se hanno bambini piccoli. Anche la posizione è molto comoda, ci sono stabilimenti balneari per famiglie nelle vicinanze come Rumors and Coastes. L'unico aspetto negativo è che le camere sono tutte molto vecchie e non mantenute. L'hotel ha anche un problema di formiche molto fastidioso. Ma nel complesso per il prezzo che ho pagato, posso solo dare una recensione neutra, niente di male ma anche niente di eccezionale!

We were recommended this hotel by many friends who had kids and this turned out to be a really safe and comfortable staycation with many things for my 3 year old to do. It was for his birthday and the staff even surprised us with a birthday cake with his name. Hotel is spacious and easy to navigate with staff very well trained to watch out for children and their needs. Only issue was the furniture in rooms was not child safe with sharp corners and lots of spots to get hurt. Especially with active daredevil toddlers jumping off everything. Restaurants weren’t halal certified but the nearby malls made food easy to get. Parking for guests is also free with prior notification.

Soggiorno ripetuto in hotel. Adoro la posizione! Ho avuto la fortuna di essere sistemato nella camera con vista di Sentosa! L'hotel è ottimo per i turisti che vogliono avventurarsi a Sentosa! È solo a pochi passi di distanza. Puoi scegliere di entrare a Sentosa tramite il ponte di collegamento o semplicemente prendere il servizio di tram. Il centro alimentare VivoCity e Seah Imm è anche pieno di tutte le esigenze di cui tu abbia mai bisogno. A rendere il tutto ancora più conveniente è che la stazione ferroviaria è a 5 minuti dall'hotel, se sei pronto per avventurarti!
