Hotel in zona McLeods Booksellers, Rotorua

Un posto molto piacevole per soggiornare nel centro di Rotorua City/Town. Molto felice che Starbucks fosse un respiro lontano. La stanza era molto pulita con tutte le attrezzature necessarie e il sistema di riscaldamento funzionava perfettamente per i giorni freddi invernali. Anche se non c'è un salotto, ho trovato che la sedia unica vicino all'ingresso era sufficiente come volevo per le mie navi per diverse tour.

I primi positivi: l'hotel non è terribile. Non è stata la nostra prima scelta, ma abbiamo finito di prenotare qui, così come prenotare i nostri amici ci siamo incontrati qui e un altro coppia ci ha unito per una notte e pagato per una stanza. Abbiamo avvertito il manager e ci ha messo tutti sullo stesso piano, con vista sul lago. La stanza era pulita. Un po’ stretta nello spazio, ma questo non è un negativo. Il personale era amichevole. I negativi: Nessun acqua calda!! Ci siamo fermati per 4 notti. Una persona su sei aveva una doccia calda, mentre si dovò appena dopo l'arrivo. Questa era l'ultima doccia calda. L'acqua era gradualmente più fredda ogni giorno. E era l'intero hotel. Questo è il tema della conversazione con ogni altro ospite dell'hotel che abbiamo incontrato nell'ascensore. Ci lamentiamo ogni giorno. In ogni fase, ci è stato detto che erano ... aspettando che qualcuno si arrampicasse ... il problema era risolto, ma perché tutti hanno tenuto l'acqua che non poteva riscaldare ... il problema non era risolto, aspettavano qualcuno da qualche altra parte. Non credo che avessero idea e mi dispiaceva per il personale, ma una doccia calda è assolutamente un requisito fondamentale. In nessun momento c'era una nota che scorreva sotto la porta per scusarsi e chiederci di portarci con loro. Era incredibilmente frustrante. Sembra poco dopo di ciò di menzionare i bagni hanno bisogno di un po' di attenzione e di un odore molto leggero, ma se non fosse per la questione dell'acqua calda, questa sarebbe stata la mia principale denuncia. L’ultima cosa che ho detto è che pioveva tutto il tempo che eravamo li' e che l’Ibis non aveva una zona di soggiorno; e siamo finiti in una delle stanze, come un gruppo, a tenere un pranzo, come gli alunni. Questo è più di un problema Rotorua, ma, come Rotorua sembrava chiudere presto e non c'era posto per parlare, nelle notti. Ibis Rotorua non è dove rimarremo di nuovo.

Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno di 5 giorni incredibile! Avevamo un gruppo di 8 famiglie (multigenerazioni) e tutti ne godevamo molto. Le cabine erano perfette, con letti confortevoli, lince bello, piccola cucina con tutti gli elementi essenziali, e un bagno. Le aree comuni erano bellissime e pulite e ben attrezzate. Bello soggiorno comunale con un posto fuoco. La grande piscina era riscaldata e le calde piscina termale erano fantastiche! I bambini si divertovano sui trucchi e sul bastone. Il personale è stato molto utile, il personale di custodia è stato fantastico. Grazie Tasman Bay!

I stayed here for two nights in May 2023. The hotel is located on the main street in Rotorua, about a 10-minute walk from the main shopping centre. Just up the road, about a 5-minute walk away, there are a couple of supermarkets. The airport is a 10-minute drive away. The hotel has plenty of parking. The room was very big with a small kitchenette, large bathroom, table and chairs etc. However, the room was showing its age and could do with an upgrade. Unfortunately the room was cold. I had the heating on but, given the size of the room, it took a long time to heat up. It was uncomfortable. There was no extra blanket for the bed. The wifi worked well. The service at the front desk was good. For what I paid, this hotel was good value. However, for my next trip to Rotorua, I would be prepared to pay a bit more for something warmer and more up to date.

オーナーと可愛い猫（名前はパオラ）がお出迎えしてくれました。部屋は清潔感があり、清掃も毎日入ってくれます。タオルはたくさん置いてます。シャワー室は少し古いですが水圧は強いです。しかし、お湯を出す際に一度冷水を通らないとお湯が出ないため毎回冷たさに驚きます。洗面所に固定はされていますがティッシュが置かれているのが嬉しかったです。固形石鹸はニュージーランドで有名なマヌカハニーの香りで癒されました。キッチンはカトラリーが揃ってます。コンロもありますが換気扇がないためお肉を焼きたいのであれば外にBBQ用のコンロがあるためそちらを使用するのをお勧めします。ランドリーは乾燥機別で2ドルでした。ロトルアでモーテルをお探しの人はこちらのモーテルをお勧めします！

The place was nice, but not as exceptional as we expected by others reviews. Things are a little worn in the room we were in. In the morning my wife went to use the spa/hot tub and after filling it with water she turned it on and it spewed out extremely dirty water. Manager said it was because the hotel was old. I disagree. - it simply needed a better cleaning. Use bleach and fill, run and refill the hot tub until it comes out clean. It’s not rocket science. They don’t offer any kind of refund but they did offer us a couple of candy bars and an apology.

È un hotel con data ma se si dispone di un bilancio, questa è una buona opzione. Il personale era amichevole e ospitante. Situato nel centro della città e a pochi minuti di auto per i negozi e ristoranti.

Il primo soggiorno fu 3 anni fa, quando era ancora un Holiday Inn. Ci sono state piazzate e attrazioni vicine. Ci sono tornato questa volta per le stesse ragioni. I bambini hanno goduto della piscina riscaldata. E noi adulti lo troviamo calmo dopo un lungo giorno di giornata. Quando le tolette di piscina erano uscite, la ricezione era felice di riempire. Eravamo in una camera deluxe regina di fronte al parcheggio. La stanza sembrava stanca. Il bagno era ancora peggio. Il molo sul cavo e il bacino aveva una scala di lima. La torsione della cascata era obbligata a darti un colpo. La stanza era pulita e tempestiva. Il personale era amichevole. E facendo il meglio che potevano in un lungo fine settimana occupato. Carpark può essere pieno in un fine settimana occupato, quasi non vuoi andare a cena.

We rented a 2 bedroom cabin, which I would describe as ”Rustic”. It's high-end camping. The living room had a huge glass door that slid across and out of the way, so the whole inside was exposed to the outside; quite lovely. The kitchen was large, but not stocked for anyone who wanted to use the oven (had to ask for oven-proof ware). The first night nothing worked so we called and they replaced the microwave and showed us where the circuit breaker was for the stove top (in a cupboard beside the stove). This had to activated before and after using the stove-top! Beds were comfortable; unit was clean; only 2 hangers in the closet. If you're used to camping, this is luxury. P.S. Internet not free and was very iffy.

We spent a couple of nights at this resort. The rooms were large enough and the bed was very comfortable. It was well appointed with a range of soaps and quality teas and coffees. It is is right next to the lake. The three things that let the hotel down were the fact the room was not made up after the first night despite leaving the request on the door handle. The safe did not work as we hadn't been given a safe key and finally the restaurant is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays for breakfast! What hotel doesn't provide food for its guest 7 days a week? Al's top tips. Ask for a safe key when you get your room keys. Have breakfast at the Artisan Cafe 1149 Tutanekai Street, Rotorua 3010, as you won't get fed there on Mondays and Tuesdays. We also visited Waitomo Glow worm caves and did the Mitai Maori Cultural experience and dinner.
