É um classico hotel 5 stelle con alcuni elementi anche positivi, altri meno. Iniziamo da quelli positivi. La posizione intanto praticamente in centro se questa definizione ha senso di essere usata per Ryiad. Positiva è la quiete che si respira al suo interno già una volta entrati solo nella Lobby. Rispetto al più blasonato Four Seasons sembra essere molto più elegante e dimostra di avere meno quello stile da “Terminal aeroportuale” che hanno molti alberghi in questa parte del mondo. Abbastanza positiva anche la camera ma le sue dimensioni sono un po’ troppo limitate per un hotel di questa categoria. Anche il bagno ha tutto il necessario ma poco altro per un hotel 5 stelle. Buona la varietà dei prodotti della colazione al mattino ma la qualità, almeno di quella dolce da me provata, è risultata scarsa e non di livello. Se poi si pensa che costa 50 € a persona allora dovrebbe essere molto più di qualità. Servizio direi appena sufficiente. Il personale è molto gentile ma in generale in Arabia Saudita il concetto di servizio alberghiero rimane molto al di sotto delle aspettative. Non esiste un vero e proprio servizio Concierge. In hotel di questo tipo il personale dovrebbe risolvere ogni problema ed ogni richiesta possibile. La volontà del personale c’è e anche l’enorme gentilezza ma si dovrebbe fare di più. Per esempio ci dovrebbe essere un servizio di ripasso della camera prima della notte, si dovrebbe essere accompagnati in camera dopo il check-in da un addetto della reception, si dovrebbe trovare un piatto di frutta o dei dolci all’interno della propria camera, ecc… cose che questo hotel non offre e probabilmente il personale non sa nemmeno che esistano. Discorso prezzo. Se parliamo di prezzi tutti gli alberghi dell’Arabia Saudita, compreso questo, hanno dei prezzi folli e non in linea con la categoria. Il prezzo normale di questo albergo è di circa 350-400 €/notte. A questo prezzo in tutto il mondo, soprattutto nel contesto di una città brutta come Ryiad, si troverebbe molto meglio. Ma così è e se non va allora basta non venire.

The Marriott Riyadh Airport is a perfectly functional hotel. It is close to the airport/FBOs. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The prices are reasonable. Overall it is OK. But it’s just OK The Marriott Lounge on the 4th floor is accessed via key card. 8 times out of 10 the key card won’t work. So you need to go back down stairs and get a new one. The lounge is not very inspiring but it has cold c=drinks when you need the,.\\m. There is a Starbucks in the lobby which is nice. But strangely you cannot charge to your room?! I used hotel laundry and it all came back on time, nicely cleaned. Along with someone else’s Nike hoodie. I sent that back but the concierge didn’t se, to know what to do. There is a restaurant but colleagues who tried it said it should be avoided On a return trip to Riyadh, I would stay closer into the city. The Marriott at the airport is convenient, but that’s it!

In generale buona, ma la qualità del colazione potrebbe essere migliore. Le camere sono ristrutturate - è stato bello. La qualità del cibo attraverso il servizio in camera potrebbe essere più alta, ma in generale era tutto bene e gli ordini sono stati consegnati abbastanza velocemente. Il personale è gentile e ospitante. Non è certo la colpa dell'hotel, ma il traffico in quella zona è stato terribile la sera. Se la prossima volta scelgo un altro hotel, sarebbe solo per la situazione del traffico. Sheraton è stato grande!

Come membro di Accor, mi piace la maggior parte degli hotel Ibis. Purtroppo, Ibis a Riyadh e Jeddah non hanno un centro commerciale, o un piccolo salone dove un ospite può lavorare, quando non in riunioni. Non hanno nemmeno le tue mani o faccia, ma solo due tubi da bagno, che credo dovrebbero essere curati. Altrimenti, questo hotel offre un buon colazione, anche se Ibis in Jeddah ha il miglior colazione che abbia mai visto in una proprietà Ibis. Il personale dell'hotel Ibis a Riyadh è molto gentile e utile. Ho apprezzato molto il mio soggiorno, nonostante i pochi cambiamenti che potrebbero fare per il meglio.

Alcune scelte giornaliere: l'isolamento acustico non è disponibile, le camere non fumatori sono profumate di tabacco, l'A/C fa il rumore più alto possibile e i lettini fanno attacchi. Poi cercate di cambiare le stanze e il personale informa che trasferiranno il bagaglio in un altro locale durante un giorno di assenza e arriverete tardi la sera solo per notare che non è successo niente... Quando uscite dalla doccia nuda Un uomo entra con il suo bagaglio dicendo di avere una prenotazione per la stessa stanza.

Sono arrivato al Holiday Inn Meydan per partecipare alla World Defense Show. Sono arrivato in un momento decente all'hotel non troppo tardi. Sono stato benvenuto come un ospite normale, anche se sono un membro dell'ambasciatore Spire. Nessuno sembrava preoccuparsi o nemmeno menzionare. Ho controllato la stanza 1247, la stanza era buona, ma ho notato che il bagno aveva un odore di urina e era tranquillo. Ho informato la ricezione, ma non è successo nulla e nessuno è venuto a spray. Quando sono arrivato, ho dovuto installare un'applicazione chiamata Tawakalna. Ho chiesto il ricevimento di aiuto e mi hanno dato il numero locale per chiamare. Ho chiamato e aspettato per 15 minuti, ma non ho risposto e la mia domanda non è stata risolta. Il personale del Holiday Inn era bello, ma non era al livello che ho usato. Prendendo la navetta di ritorno dalla World Defense Show mi fermo dall'Intercontinental che è proprio intorno all'angolo. Il personale lì era sorprendente. Mi piacerebbe in particolare dare credito a un uomo dalla ricezione chiamato Habib Zain Alenzi. Mi ha preso il tempo di aiutarmi con l'app Tawaklna. L'ha riinstallato e ha riconfigurato tutto per assicurarsi che funzionasse. Non ero neanche un ospite all'Inter, ma il loro personale mi ha aiutato e non l'hanno fatto. La terza cosa che mi ha davvero sbagliato con l'Holiday Inn Meydan è che come membro di Spire ho un cesto di frutta. Il ragazzo della ricezione disse che sarebbe stato nella mia stanza immediatamente. Non era. Il giorno dopo l'ho chiesto e hanno detto che sarebbe venuto, ma non è venuto nulla. Il terzo giorno l'ho chiesto, ma non è venuto nulla. Finalmente, sono rimasto all'hotel per 5 notti. Per le ultime due notti lo champagne non è stato aggiunto e sono stato fortunato a portarmi la mia. L'ho anche lasciato nella stanza L'hotel è ok. L'albergo è ok. Il colazione è ok, ma le piccole cose che il personale non ha fatto mi hanno fatto non piacere il mio soggiorno.

DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING TO THIS AWFUL HOTEL even if it’s the last place on earth. I have never been disrespected, ignored in any business establishment like this so called hotel suits. Read what happened and judge for your self. My reservation was confirmed by this hotel on Monday31 of January for three nights starting on Wednesday 2nd of February. I had no contact from the hotel representative and to make sure everything is alright, I tried calling. Unfortunately, the hotel number was disconnected. I thought that since my family are in their way from out of Riyadh I should go there and make sure and that’s where the show began. I arrived at 2 PM. At the front desk, a man eating a sandwich and yelling screaming at one of the workers was setting. I approached him and ask about my reservation. He confirmed and said it will be ready around 4 pm. I told him that it is stated that check in is at 3 pm. He said it depends. I sat in the lobby waiting. Then I heard the worker saying that two rooms are ready. Meanwhile, the man on the front desk was talking to a family saying that all booking are cancelled and the property has been closed due to maintenance. I quickly went to the guy and ask him about the situation. He said yes all bookings are cancelled. I tried to explain to him that you told me to wait and I heard the worker saying two rooms are ready. He said we closed the hotel. I instructed him to connect me with manager. He said I’m the manager and the owner and with a smile he said “surprised you right”. More that three families were in the lobby at that time. All came to see if this guy is serious. He told everyone that he’s the owner of the place and he cancelled all the bookings with a careless smile on his face. Now, I have been to more than 4 continents, visited numerous countries, and stayed in hundreds of hotels, motels, and homes, I have never ever in my life had seen a poorly managed property. I felt like the owner and the manager is intentionally belittling and controlling his clients because they paid have nowhere else to go. Among the people waiting was an old sick woman came from Qassim and was pleading to get a room that she paid for and the guy refused and said we closed the hotel for maintenance. Why I was informed to wait and then 15 minutes before check in I’m told that the hotel is on maintenance? How is the hotel on maintenance and I see family entering their rooms? What about the worker who said two rooms are now ready? Finally, why the careless attitude and unapologetic behaviour towards people coming to this place? My: stay away from this place even if it’s the last place on earth.

La palestra, anche se un po 'piccola per un hotel di dimensioni è sufficiente e la piscina interna è bella. Anche in buona posizione. Tuttavia, hanno perso una stella, perché il personale dell'hotel al di fuori del desk e concierge non si preoccupava. Non c'era sorriso all'arrivo o addirittura alcuna cura che tu avessi arrivato. Its 25 minutes drive from King Khalid airport and one minute walk to the main exhibition entrance which is very convenient specially during the summer with more than 45c ambient temperature . The moment you reached the reception desk, you will be greeted with fresh Arabic Coffee and dates. Check in was surprisingly swift and smooth. I would like to thank Miss Joury for her cooperation and answering all our questions regarding the hotel facilities and the near by points of interest with a BIG smile. Room was spotless and elegantly decorated. There are plenty of free coffee and tea choices in the minibar. I appreciated the extra large bath towels and nice walk in shower with easy function shower mixer. The only drawback is the size of the bed is very narrow (twin bed room)

The only good thing about the hotel is the mattress and the pillow. Rest is all horrible. I visited this hotel during covid and was way better than now. Imagine they have spoiled juices in the breakfast its fermented because the chef doesnt even know that using defrosted fruits is like meat it will spoil right after because its not pasteurized. The whole food selection was horrible. Ban marie was off all hot food is cold. A customer saw me talking to the waiter he told me plz tell the reception its been 2 days and were telling them about the juice. It seems the chef even didnt defrost it today.. Can you imagine they are charging 700 sar almost 200$ per night and they are hesitant to put coffee in rooms. They only put milk capsules but not coffee… and only 2x330ml water. My 2 years old son drinks more than that…. The hotel is not even clean. I checked in the toilet supposed to be sanitized on arrival as per the label but they just keep the label there and do not clear neither sanitize. Reception speaks to guests while looking at their phone. This is an unknown hospitality value only found in 1 stars motels. Last thing dont fall for the balcony they are bragging about. U cant see anything but bricks from there. My last visit

Ho passato due notti qui. Quando sono arrivato per la prima volta, mi hanno dato un aggiornamento gratuito, che era bello. Tuttavia, la posizione è molto rumorosa. Ci sono un sacco di rumore di traffico. Ma è anche un grande sito di costruzione vicino alla porta che ha fatto il sepolcro dal sollevamento al risalto del sole ogni giorno. La mia stanza era buona, ma il segnale WiFi era piuttosto povero e spesso cadde. Il secondo giorno, tornai da cena per trovare la pulizia della mia stanza dopo le sette, che è ridicolo; e, in fretta, si dimenticarono di sostituire le tovaglie da bagno che avevano rimosso, lasciando la loro chiave maestra nella mia stanza. Un'ora dopo, mi hanno colpito la porta per recuperare la carta chiave. Questo era un piccolo angoscio, più di qualsiasi cosa. La questione che non era minore era come mi trattavano quando ho chiesto se potessero stampare il risultato del test COVID19. All'inizio hanno accettato, ma la stampa era di qualità estremamente scarsa (come una fotocoppia malvagia), e quando ho chiesto loro di provare una stampante diversa, hanno insistito che non c'era una. Quando mi chiesi dove andare a stamparmi, chiamarono il loro manager. Egli acconsentiva a stampare nel suo ufficio (il detto che non c'erano altre stampanti all'hotel era chiaramente una bugia), e io aspettavo nel lobby che il manager tornasse. Dopo 20 minuti di attesa, mi sono arreso e sono tornato nella mia stanza. Trenta minuti dopo hanno portato una buona stampa nella mia stanza. Questo processo non avrebbe dovuto essere così difficile. Il letto era comodo, il AC funzionava bene. Anche il parcheggio sotterraneo era bello, e dubito che tornerò quando ci saranno tante altre opzioni a Riyadh.

I just checked in around 7:30 pm with a fully paid booking , the lady at the reception told me sorry we only have one room available and its (smoking) , i told her but i dont smoke , i dont mind as long as the room doesn’t smell like smoke if it does i will want to change it, she said ( even if you want to change it, it doesn’t matter because this is the only room available) . I went to the room cause I’m tired and it smells very bad , no windows or balcony. I called them and they sent someone with air freshener. So I’m literally forced to stay in this room with no other options and no curtesy or mindfulness of my preferences. Very bad experience from the first 5 minutes I stepped in the hotel.
