The Gloria Inn was our first impression of Saudi Arabia. It is close to the old Town and around the corner from several local restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Coffee not so great. The bathrooms were very large and had space for our toiletries. The WIFI was very good and we were able to get a massage at the hotel that was really wonderful after a long flight. That all being said, we would not have been able to sleep without ear plugs. There was a constant beeping throughout the night - and we had several AC units outside our window. In addition, there was traffic noise as the hotel is right next to a large highway. So, location and amenities were very good, but the noise was a major drawback of the hotel.

Un vecchio hotel in necessità di aggiornamento. Siamo anziani e dovevamo camminare dal 17° piano, perché gli ascensori spesso non funzionavano. Ero bloccato tra i piani una volta e le chiavi della nostra stanza dovevano cambiare più volte. Dopo l'ispezione, ci è stato detto che il colazione non era incluso. Questo improvvisamente cambiato quando abbiamo mostrato il desk front a voucher. le camere erano congelate fredde ( 15 C) e abbiamo bisogno di un riscaldatore (che smettila di lavorare) Ci è stato detto che potevamo caricare un pasto nella nostra stanza e poi a 915 PM mentre siamo a letto ci è stato detto che non potevamo Vieni a pagare il conto al ristorante. Per i soldi, il peggior hotel che abbia soggiornato dopo aver visitato 140 paesi

Unfortunately I had the worse experience. I arrived to Riyadh from another town 3 hours away. On a national holiday every where was fully booked. The reception who goes by the name of Mohammed Ahmed refused us to the room and said no guest after midnight. I explained I had checked in earlier and we where coming back from the hairdresser took 5 hours to braid my hair. But he would not allow us even though the booking was paid in advance with a Uk debit card, 2 adults in a twin room with 2 hotel keys. And to make things worse we had order food from the restaurant before we entered the room and it went untouched because we could not get back into the room. I explained that I was a teacher and he can check iqama we where not in Riyadh looking for a place to be naughty and he should respect the fact that his discrimination was unjust. He said he would check the iqama and let us know. Ridiculous. And British citizens or even foreign nationals can stay in a hotel with another person it’s not illegal. Also we where only going to eat refresh ourselves and return to our own city. My friend and driver. Tulip in Mr Mohammed Ahmed left us stranded. I was so upset we had no rest, that I rang Agoda Uk. But Mohammed Ahmed wouldn’t answer why we where not allowed into the room when Agoda rang them. I even threatened to call the police but he just offered that the manager wasn’t there. I am pursuing a refund and room service refund. My advice if your expat never book tulip in bad experience in Dammam their toilets always blocked and in Riyadh disgusting hospitality for a capital well know hotel. Plus they are in a very bad location in Riyadh and there is no parking apart from on street main busy road. And the hotel has a tiny entrance along a row of shops and its not anything like the picture. The security at the entrance are very rude as well before the reception they shout at you where are you going are you staying in the hotel, before you enter that’s not a problem but they don’t even have any hand sanitiser and I felt like it was just an excuse to receive a bribe. Might I add I was wearing and abiyah hijab and a mask black colour and there was no reason to disrespect and humiliate me in the way they did. But unfortunately for them I was not willing to pay a bribe. Don’t stay here You will really be disappointed if you book it in the first place. And the trade mark tulip inn should not be mistaken for Golden tulip. Totally a different class.

Il personale è un obiettivo di rispetto e moralità, benvenuto e aiuta a risolvere qualsiasi problema, anche se non è legato alla residenza. Grazie in particolare al professor Renad per i suoi sforzi eleganti e bellissimi per agevolare il mio soggiorno al top dell'hotel meraviglioso, l'hotel è elegante e molto pulito, la camera pulita periodicamente, e la posizione dell'hotel è vicino a tutto quello che ti serve.

La camera è ampia e confortevole, l'igiene e la pulizia sono pulite, e il piano è un grande centro commerciale, conveniente per gli acquisti, molto vicino alla stazione metropolitana e alla stazione di autobus, molto conveniente per la gita, vicino al vecchio mercato, vicino al mercato di guancia.

L'hotel è un po' vecchio, ma ho pensato che la pulizia dell'hotel fosse molto buona. Il personale dell'hotel al di fuori del desk è tutto eccellente. Ho avuto qualche problema con la mia prenotazione all'arrivo che ha certamente preso un po' di lavoro per risolvere e hanno potuto farlo, non ho usato le attrezzature, ma ho dormito bene!
