Hotel Novotel a Phuket

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days. I want to leave a real review and warn visitors. The hotel itself is quite clean, there are fish swimming on the ground floor, you can feed them, the staff is friendly and responsive to requests. Positive aspects: the room is clean, there are no ants like in another hotel, good sound insulation (we didn’t hear the neighbors), you can see Big Buda on the hill, there is a shuttle to the beach and back every hour, breakfast doesn’t change much from day to day, but it’s varied you can (order different types of cooked eggs, for example), there is also a children’s room that helps couples eat, while entertaining the child. The playroom is good, the child has something to occupy himself with (although I would change the set of books, they are very strange), I did not see any animation there. In the evenings there is a cartoon show and free 🍿. A large wet area for children with a sandbox, toys, a small pool and a larger one. The hotel is located between two beaches. Kata Beach is pleasant, although it is difficult to find shade without buying sun loungers. Karon Beach is completely different, I recommend going there in the afternoon to watch the sunset. There are a lot of things around, including restaurants and shops, massages. Negative points: they clean every day, but every time I asked for a towel for the child, the floor was not washed perfectly, stains are visible. At breakfast there is no oatmeal for children, a children’s corner made of plastic cutlery and cookies. The hardest thing is the ROAD from the hotel to anywhere, a very rare climb, it doesn’t take long to walk, but it’s very difficult, especially with children. Be prepared to pump up your buttocks; once again you won’t go anywhere. Very strong chlorination of the water in the children’s pool, after a long stay our son vomited all night from this water, we never went there again. The hotel should also establish rules for the use of the children’s area by small children! Parents should use special diapers for toddlers. Watching a baby walk with dirty swimming trunks (from which **** comes out) into the sandbox and pool is very unpleasant to take your child there afterwards! The covering of the children's area requires repair, and there is also a sewer smell. When we came to the children's pool, there were few sunbeds, or the sunbeds were dirty, the food and dishes were not put away, it was not pleasant to sit there. The adult area is better. The food at the hotel is also average, I didn’t want to eat extra unless I was too lazy to go down from the hotel to the restaurant. There is no children’s menu for kids, although the hotel is family-friendly (nuggets, burgers, fries are not for a child’s stomach). The hotel has some work to do. I would not return to this hotel for that kind of money…

All good. Staffs are friendly. Its really a beach hotel as you can just walk up to the beach. But would be really nice if hotel could provide a complimentary breakfast or anything as it was my husband birthday. Other than that all good.

Stata qui per 2 notti, il controllo in corso è molto veloce e la mia stanza era pronta a tempo. Maimoon è il migliore! Mi ha aiutato tutto il tempo! La stanza stessa ha abbastanza spazio e la vista alla notte è molto stupenda. Il bar al tetto è soooo accogliente. Il colazione è meraviglioso tutti i cibi sono caldi. Ho avuto un problema la mia notte scorsa l'elettricità improvvisamente chiuso, come ho informato la ricezione dal momento che è molto tardi la notte mi aspetto di avere un po' di ritardo, ma non mi aspettavo che l'ingegnere lunga arrivasse e mi ha detto che non può essere risolto dopo 5 minuti HK e anche Il personale di FO mi ha aiutato a cambiare la stanza. Non sono riuscito a ottenere i loro nomi da quando è tardi la notte. In generale ho avuto la migliore esperienza e sicuramente tornerò!

Pool support team, Mad, Pang, Fiz, Tok and Aod have been so amazing and attentive our entire holiday. Very friendly, love a chat and have made our time extra enjoyable at the pool. Mud at Herring Bar is a super star, such friendly service, best drink service and a lovely person. Kath at front of house was outstanding in helping our daughter who has been very ill during our stay. Cannot thank her enough. Breakfast staff - beautiful food, outstanding service and so friendly. Also to be commended with dealing with extremely rude and arrogant guests. They never broke their composure, and stayed calm and friendly during these situations. House Keeping - friendly and very thorough. Always asking how our day was and making sure our room was perfect.

A great place to stay. Once you get your bearings, you can walk to anywhere really. Fantastic pool area. Plenty of space to swim and get a day bed. We never missed out. Plenty for everyone. Good drinks at the swim bar. Thanks to Som, a bar staff who was very friendly and engaging. Helpful. Special promotional deals plus happy hour. Very good breakfasts. You have a large choice that changes daily. Special mention to Josef the chef, and Si the egg cook. Pool food service and room service really good value. No guilt there Spa provided incredible massage packages, very, very reasonable. Rooms good. Clean. The hotel is about 15 years old. But holds itself well. Good restaurants around. Of course all of the Thai staff are wonderful, friendly and obliging! Shame how some tourists treat them so arrogantly and disrespectfully. We really enjoyed our stay there. Would recommend. It's considered to be central Patong Beach.
