A Sanctuary When I Needed It Most I arrived in Taiyuan not feeling well and ended up staying seven nights without ever leaving the room. Labor Day holiday, full DND stretches, just me and delivery apps. And honestly? It was exactly what I needed, and this hotel made it possible. Let me start with the moment that defined this stay. My housekeeper came in most days to refresh the room, and each time I'd ask for the same drinks. After a few days he just knew -- knew what I wanted, knew I wasn't feeling well. He'd heard me coughing while he cleaned and was clearly paying attention. On my last day, when I had DND up and didn't want any service at all, he quietly left a bag of my favorite drinks outside the door anyway. No knock, no disruption. Just a person who had been paying attention all week and wanted to take care of me. That kind of warmth doesn't come from a training manual. I won't forget it. The room itself held up beautifully for a long stationary stay. Clean, accurate to the photos, well-appointed. Floor-to-ceiling windows, two bathrooms, excellent shower pressure, generous storage, a proper tea set, and a beverage bar housekeeping kept replenished without being asked. The slippers were genuinely excellent -- better than some five-star properties I've stayed at. For seven nights of recovery during a national holiday, this hotel and its people delivered everything that mattered.

Stayed in the hotel in September 2025 for four nights. Room was modern and had an open concept design. Hot water and WiFi worked well, and cleaning was done very well. Buffet had good spread of mainly Shanxi local delicacies. I must especially praise the restaurant service staff, especially 杨杨, for being so accommodating, friendly, and personable. On my first day with breakfast, 杨杨, personally explained the different food options to me and made sure all of my needs were cared for. She was exceptionally bubbly and approachable, and was not only the highlight of the hotel, but gave me one of the best services of any accommodation across the world. Regarding location, the hotel was located around 10-15 minutes by taxi from the main high-speed rail station. The only critique I would note is that the air-conditioning in the room was somewhat weak. Overall, the hotel offered good value for money and excellent service, and I am happy to stay again.

Could not fault this place. We had booked a bigger room, but it was on the main street, so decided not to take the risk. A slight downgrade was organised swiftly. Room very comfortable, with a nice big bathroom. A well equipped gym where I seemed to be the only user. Breakfast passable with toast, fruits, cereal, coffee and baked goods. We extended our stay to 4 nights. The service at the front desk, room servicing, breakfast was exemplary. The room maid left me a lovely book marker as she saw my lonely planet. (btw, LP mentions a restaurant at the start of the bu xing jie; I wouldn't bother).Hotel is 1km west of Tiyuguan metro station on line 2. Line 1 yet to open. Two stations north brings you 400m from Bell Tower Street, a bu xing jie where there are heaps of great eating places. One station north of Tiyuguan, then east as far as possible gets you to the old Taiyuan train station. Buses 308 or 804 (slow trip) gets you to JinCi Si; well worth the trip even just to see a 3,000yo tree

We booked at Fengqi jiuting hotel on a family trip to Taiyuan and it exceeded all our expectations. The location is super convenient, on the edge of the bustling Zhong Lou Jie area, with so many food and dining options accessible on foot. The rooms are spacious, with heated floors (a godsend in winter), and nice amenities. It’s a beautiful hotel decked out with contemporary art and was a pleasure to stay at. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made our trip that much easier. Would definitely recommend.

Una esperienza di alloggio di Taiyuan super soddisfatta!Appena sono usciti dall'aereo, c'è un autobus speciale dell'hotel. Il giorno dopo il ritorno ci ha mandato alla stazione sud di Taiyuan. Perché è il periodo del tempo che l'hotel non invia l'aria fredda al condizionatore d'aria . Dopo aver controllato e aver girato il condizionatore d'aria anche basso medio alto per poche ore e ancora caldo perché le camere sono sul lato di fronte al sole il pomeriggio. Alla fine abbiamo chiamato il personale dell'hotel e sapevamo che il condizionatore d'aria non manda aria fredda. Il personale dell'hotel ci aiuta a vedere molte camere dall'altra parte dell'edificio che non è così caldo e stufato, solo una piccola finestra nella stanza può essere aperta ma non fuori flusso d'aria. E' utile passare dall'altra parte e possiamo aprire la finestra e aiutare a ottenere alcuni angoli dall'esterno, anche se non c'è vento. Fortunatamente, nei pochi giorni che ci siamo fermati, è piovuto e la temperatura non è così alta come l'ultimo giorno o il nostro soggiorno quando la temperatura è salita e la luce del sole è forte. Grazie per essere così gentile, per averci capito e per averci aiutato a muoversi verso la stanza più fredda.

This stay was absolutely incredible and completely exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, a massive thank you to the hotel for being so welcoming to my two fur babies (my dog babies)! 🐶🐶 Finding a place that not only allows pets but treats them with such kindness and respect is rare. The staff went above and beyond to make sure both my pups and I felt comfortable and at home. They are truly amazing employees—so warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. They are a credit to this hotel! The room itself was fantastic. We had an awesome view from the window overlooking the city scenery, which was just beautiful to wake up to. It added such a special touch to our trip. But the location? UNBEATABLE. You simply cannot beat it. · Transport: The subway station is literally right in front of the main door of the hotel. You are connected to the entire city instantly. · Tourist Spots: All the great tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. We barely needed transport because everything was so accessible! If you are visiting Taiyuan, whether for business, leisure, or especially if you are traveling with pets, stop looking and book this hotel. It is very, very highly recommended. Amazing location! The restaurant was surrounded by lots of restaurants and a bustling night market. Walking distance to many of the popular streets downtown. The room was clean and very comfortable and I really appreciated that there is a free washing machine/dryer to use. I booked the room with breakfast however due to an early flight I couldn’t eat so the front desk gave me extra snacks instead!

La notte in cui il bambino è in entrata ha anche imballato il latte e il pane per il cuore.Soprattutto soddisfatto è che il posto è molto largo, non preoccuparti di aprire la porta e uccidere!Ci sono diversi cavi a carica veloce o supercarichi intorno! Ho ancora usato la cena nel ristorante, i piatti sono buoni. Il piatto è troppo piccolo e mangiato in Taiyuan. Non ci sono troppi piatti di notte, le patate sono deliziose, consigliate!
